Dukan ? hope so!

C, your going to have such a busy weekend with your friends and the picnic to plan youll forget about them milky ways lol dont take any notice of naughty jojo hahaha, the thing is you know they are there if you want them, and you can have what you want, BUT, and theres always a but, a big but,,,,in your trouses lol, seriously though C, keep it as a 'carrot' and say to yourself if I really, really still want one in and hour, two hours...you set your goal and then have one but hopfully the earge will have passed and the children will be over the moon to have milky ways xxx

I wonder if the long weekend is the problem, thus the escape from our usual routines?

I'm feeling very weak-willed myself! :(

Come on girls, group hug!! :D

Oh C, just read my post....didnt mean you have a big bum....only you may have a big one if you eat them chocy bars ooohhh well you know what I mean....I would never mean to ofend xxx

Been having trouble with the internet yesterday, just like to say thanks for all the encouragement girls :thankyou:, the good news is, i still have not touched the milky ways they are in the fridge for the kids tomorrow, the bad new is i succumbed to the Thornton's that have been on top of the fridge for ages calling out to me, up to now ive ignored them quite well. I have'nt ate the whole box and to be honest, i didnt really enjoy them so wont be going near them again, the kids can finish them off tomorrow!!

I think that i ate them because i've been at bit under the weather today, migraines are a curse, felt like my head was in a vice this morning when i woke up, took a couple of paracetamol but started vomiting, been in bed most of the day, so my blood glucose levels must have been a bit low. Pain in my head pain in my side im ready for the knackers yard!! :character00264:lol. I do feel better now, just been making scotch eggs, chicken drumsticks and koftas for tomorrows picnic, orange jellies and muffins ready too.

I think we are all going to have weeks like this, we just need to acknowledge them, then carry on and not feel guilty about it tomorrows a new day, onward and downward, weigh in tomorrow hope i have messed up too much tho. If i have i will know why!! Cx

Well done on this weeks loss !

Hope you have a fab picnic, hope it's drier than it is here for you x

Back now got absolutely drenched in the rain, ended up just a few of us going round the forest which was lovely, the jubilee picnic was on but not many were there, there was a brass band playing bless them they got soaked too. Ended up bringing the picnic home and sitting in the conservatory watching the flotilla on telly eating koftas and scotch eggs. Got friends coming round later tonight looking forward to seeing them. Cx

Morning C, hope you've dried out. Must have been the weekend for brass bands, we went to garden centre and they had a band playing hubby and me love them, so had a coffee in the coffee house and listened to them....could have stayed all day. Durham big meeting (miners gala ) on in July love all the bands parading down the streets, come rain or shine. Have a great day xxx

Hey Colette sorry to hear your picnic was a wash out and I bet the photography was not more successful, glad to hear you made the best of it though. Are you feeling better? xx

Thanks Mon, it was a good day apart from the rain, I do feel better today been taking the Lansoprazole like a good patient (nurses make terrible patients, dont take my own advice OH goes mad lol) which seems to be helping with the pain in my side, maybe it is a gastric problem? ill get the test results on Wednesday.

I love brass bands too Sid, we often have a brass band with us at concerts with the choir.

Well that last couple of days have been eventful and a bit shakey if truth be known. The internet has been playing up which is driving my 16yr old crazy, which is quite funny as we have no control over the internet connection, generally we dont have much of an issue with it hopefully its sorted itself out now.

We had friends round on Sunday had a lovely night but my friends husband brought a bottle of expensive red wine, i dont really drink much, but we ended up having the bottle between us, felt terrible yesterday hangover from hell!! i have decided that i no longer drink alcohol, im going tee total. I was unable to eat much yesterday, went out for a long walk to clear my head which was good. Then while sorting out my wardrobe i found a cross stitch that i had started but hadnt finished, must have been in the bottom of the wardrobe for about 10 years!! So ive revived it and yesterday spend a lovely evening watching the concert on the telly doing my cross stitch, i had forgotten how much i enjoyed doing them!

Today we are having a house guest, mum is off to Prague for a few days singing, so im having the budgie.

i used to play in a Brass band lol, stopped playing as a young adult as it started affecting my social life ;) we used to be busy every weekend during the summer with Galas, competitions etc

Well done on another fab weightloss!! Glad u are still preparing and planning, its not easy sometimes but the results are so great! Ur cross stitch is a fab idea, its lovely having time off to just potter about doing NOTHING, just finding something to do we enjoy is so precious!

Your right about nurses....full of good advice but.....ignore your own ailments, I have nurses in the family and friends, your all the same.lol hope yor fell 100% soon C, have a nice evening cross-stitching. I looked at jewelery making when I read how much Ellie and Chris enjoy it. But went to craft shop and saw all the beads etc., and thought that I'm not artistic enough for that I wasnt inspired just struck by choice...and I have no imagination xxx

Oh sorry your picnic was a bit of a washout :(

I used to love cross stitch, I've half completed projects in the cupboard here & ones completed framed on the wall. I used to spend hours & hours on them & did quite a few birth samplers for friends who had babies.

Hope the test results come back with something not too nasty. Sounds odd me saying that but there's nothing worse than being in pain & they can't find what's wrong x

Ellie what did you play in the band? instruments take a lot of practice to be able to play them well, my son was learning the Sax but gave it up in favour for the electric guitar, he wants to study A level music in 6th form. I played classical guitar when i was a kid, can still pick out a tune or two lol We all are a bit musical in the family.

Thanks Kirsty, the cross stitch is so absorbing it takes forever to do, but it looks nice when its finished and gives you a great sense of achievement. Im not the most artistic person, its my OH who has an eye for a good photo. Im off the rest of the week so looking forward to a bit of a chillax.

Sid im just like you, not a bit arty but i have a go. The cross stitching is gives you a stitch by stitch pattern to follow, dead easy and looks fab!!

Thanks Jo, i think the meds are working but will get results back tomorrow hopefully. Cx
