eee look another food diary!

So I'm going to just allow myself 5 syns for the next 2 days and it should balance out yesterday I think. I was craving potato waffles so had some this morning as found out they are only 2.5 syns :) good news!

EE DAY - Sunday

Breakfast : syn free sausage, 1/2 piece gammon, 2 waffles, poached eggs, grilled tomato and mushroom. (5syns)

Lunch : smoked salmon, bread (hexB) flora (2syns) strawberries

Dinner : venison, Italian butter beans (garlic, tomato, basil) cabbage, bacon + onion. Roast rosemary potato (1syn - oil) meringue w/ strawberrie + squirty cream (6syns)

Drinks : tea w/milk (hexA) green tea. Water

SYNS : 14

Exercise : Day 1, Level 1 30 day shred

went totally off my low syn plan as hugely craved sugar after dinner! oops!!! at least I started the shred though! I'll claw back over the next 3 days though, I just need to make sure I meal plan better again.

Ooh let me know how the shred goes when you've done it! I was also really happy when I found out the syns of potato waffles :p The mini ones are only 1 each as well :)
 
Ooo I love the little ones! Yep I'm going to do it tonight once bf goes to work so I'll update later. Im actually a bit scared! X
 
Gonna be seriously good today. My low syn plan of yesterday went to crap after I got a major sugar craving and ate 2 meringues. At least it wasn't a massive bar of chocolate!! So today and tomorrow low low syn day.

EE DAY - Monday

Breakfast : toast (hexB) turkey bacon, mushrooms.

Lunch : jacket potato, tuna (1syn mayo), sweetcorn and red onion. Salad

Dinner : spaghetti bolognaise (peppers, celery, carrot, mushroom, passata, onion, garlic) salad, Parmesan (hexA) (3syns)

Snack : alpen light, apple

Drinks : tea (little hexA) green tea, water

Exercise : walking - 2 miles.
Day 2, level 1, 30 day shred.

TOTAL SYNS : 7

Hey! It was really hard, I couldnt do the press ups at the start, I did like 3!! The rest was kinda ok. My arms and legs were shaking after but I felt good. Looking forward to doing it again though even though I'm quite achey today, how's everything with you? X
 
I did them on my knees ;) lol yeah not too bad, Im midnight binging which isnt good I do it when im stressed but sometimes dont realise til the next day so its a nightmare to control... im so good usually too; damn why is loosing weight so hard :(
 
I couldn't even do them on my knees!!! I must have no upper body stength at all! Although trying to press up 15st is probably quite hard anyway!

Don't worry, you have been really good and even with a little bad your diet is way better than most peoples normal ones. How much more do you want to lose? We'll get there :) and when it's slower it stays off too as you learn how to balance more. At least that's my theory xx
 
I have lost 3 stone since jan and want to lose another 2 to take me to 9.5 stone. You dont look 15 stone on your pic, I know its not all your body but you know what I mean? I hope lol. Oh Im prob making no sense lol x
 
Haha! No, I don't really look my weight I think it's because I'm quite tall, and my face isn't very chubby or anything, I'm all stomach tho! Which hasn't gone away since I had my kids. Grr!

Wow that's an amazing loss!! 3stone is brilliant, I guess the binges may just be your bodies way of trying to adjust to the changes lately. Becoming vegan might just make you crave things it's used to? I started properly in feb right at the end and have only lost 11lbs. Which sucks! But nevermind even if it takes a few years I'll get there as I think I'll always food optimise in my head now! X
 
Day 2 of the shred done. Oh my that was harder than last night!!! Its probably as i'm achey from last night tho, had to keep getting a drink as I felt awful! Finished it though and feel better than last night not as shaky! Woooooo here's to exercising everyday! Walked 2 miles too :)
 
Aw well done for getting through the second day, even with the achey muscles!! I know I'd give up so quickly haha :) x
 
I think If it was longer I'd give up! I think that's why it might be easier to stick to, 20 mins is ok! I hope I stick to it, I really want to catch the exercise bug! Xx
 
Yesterday kinda stuck to plan had a few more syns than I'd like so going to work them out over the week this week as i seem to have come on again !? (has only been a week since my last one!!) and I'm craving sugar a lot. I ache all over today from the shred, going to play it by ear later and if i still ache this much have a rest day as I don't want to push myself so much I hurt myself. I don't and have never really done any intense exercise so putting too much pressure on a very unfit body can't be that good a plan ? I dunno! Feeling really uninspired food wise and can't think of anything I want to eat which is making food planning hard work.

EE DAY : Tuesday

Breakfast : bacon, poached eggs x2, grilled mushrooms and tomato. Toast (hexb) flora (2syns)

Lunch : 2 pieces of smoked salmon, 2 waffles (5syns)

Snack :Mini milk squeezey tube (4syns)

Dinner : Thai green chicken and prawn curry, (broccoli, green beans, carrot, pepper, mushroom, sugar snap peas, baby corn) (6syns)

Drinks : water, matcha tea, tea w/milk (hexA) coke zero

Exercise : walking - 2miles, 30 day shred level 1, day 3.

TOTAL SYNS : 17


I'm being crap with my superfree, I really need to do a big food shop, rather than just buying what I need on the day, as when theres no fruit in, I find myself snacking on syns instead which is stupid! ARGH, another day over syns!! why did I eat those waffles I knew I'd regret it, I'm definitely going to have to do the shred tonight now!

Personally I don't do the shred every day I like to mix up my exercise and yeh especially when starting out some rest days are a good plan to allow recovery. Protein based meal or snack soon after exercise should help with the aches too as it aids muscle recovery. X
 
Thanks for the advice love! I was really sore all morning/early avo but after the school run it seems to have sorted me out, so I guess the walking must have loosened me back up which is good! So instead of curling in a ball when my muscles are sore I might go for a little walk! I'm going to do the shred again tonight as I feel better, as my original plan was to do everyday apart from saturdays, which I would like to try and stick to, as that'll leave me about 3 weeks until thailand from finishing the shred and I plan on starting the C25K properly once shred is done as I figure I'll be a lot fitter and stronger after it. Weirdly I'm quite looking forward to it now! I hope that stays as to get the exercise bug would be possibly the best thing that could happen to me, as I am naturally a bit lazy and crap! xx
 
I am naturally lazy too :p

Joined gym last week and attempted my first class last night so defo feeling the effects from that today!

Yeh moving is the last thing you feel like doing but stretching does help shift the pain. Oh and pain after the first day is the worst by far so once you survive that you can survive the rest no bother! :)

Some stretching/yoga/Pilates really helps stretch out the overworked muscles - i have some 10min Pilates things I can follow on Netflix or an app on my phone loads of options if you want info just let me know. X
 
Yeah thanks Laura! Pass it along as I used to be really flexible and not in the post workout stretch I actually can barely get my legs apart!!

Kel, I really like it. Bf bought it as he's a little obsessive with healthy tea, it's actually really nice! And if it is what it says it is, then drinking 1 cup of that is about 80x stronger than normal green tea. I have 2 a day and it tastes actually loads nicer than green tea kinda seaweedy which I like. It could just be in my head but it does seem to make me more regular which is often a prob for me as I have IBS
