eee look another food diary!

defo using your meals as red day inspirations! been doing green days everyday this week, going to try a red week next week

Haha! Thanks! I love red days! I'm more worried about green, that I'll end up eating the same things all the time, I need some inspiration there, as I've only ever done maybe 1/2 days a week before so a full week I have no idea what I'll do! X

Oh im the other way around, love green days but still cant get my head fully around red so thats why im going to try and be 100% focused on it next week, i think cutting out carbs will definitely do me some favours

I've just started a thread for green day ideas so if you have any tips for me on there that would be fab love :)

Ok well things still looking ok for WI, although I must admit if it stays as it is I'll be a bit disappointed, I usually lose really well on red or rather mixing red and EE and maybe one green. Hmm.. I hope I lose a little overnight. I have been eating bananas everyday which I know doesn't help me.. So wont have any today and hope that helps. Or mullers as they have a lot of sweetener in which I know can make you retain. Need to get some lemons and soda water later.. Just going to take the dog for a walk and brave aldi for the first time ever today. Eek! WI tomorrow, anxious!

I know! What's going on there! I used to be able to drop loads on red, hmm! And I've well cut back on my choc, I guess I was really on/off last week so it's probably catching up. Although I did start the week at 13st7, so a loss from that bloat would be good! Xx

How old are your kids love? That's awesome! I honestly think being food aware is brilliant from a young age, the boys go to their dads every other weekend and he gives them total rubbish, Macdonalds for breakfast (who does that!! The effort to get up, dressed and drive there rather than just giving them cereal and fruit!-- so stupid!) loads of pizza and hot dogs and stuff. Never any veg. So I try really hard when they're with me so they don't get picky or fussy.

We shall indeed get there :)

We just decided to make a Vietnamese banquet on Saturday and take the puppy to the coast so healthy weekend for us, which is nice, obv dans off the booze now so at least I don't have to think about that. Might even make a SW beef pie on Sunday :) xxx

Lil is 7 in May, and H is 4 - he's at school already but not 5 till July! So difficult when there are inconsistencies - used to find that with my step son that we would be trying hard to encourage certain things then he would go away and come back with it all undone - so frustrating! That is bizarre on McDs front - totally more effort! That is the best you can do I recon, you keep it up your end and hopefully they will pick up the good things :)
Mm, Vietnamese banquet sounds amazing! and SW beef pie! YUM!
We have a weekend of new bunk beds and more house sorting - this is why I really need to be more organised so I don't suddenly have to feed everyone!xxx

That's where my mum lives! It's different in diff parts as many places are! Round st Mary's is nice and the links, Whitley centre is a bit rough its got loads and loads of bars and a few clubs, the Beach is fab, loads of good parks/water parks and a great indoor wave pool on the seafront. There's golf there too. I love it there, really close to tynemouth and cullercoats which are nice too. Tynemouth is the best tho, I'd LOVE to live there. The houses in Whitley are nice tho, lots of really beautiful houses, (again some rougher ones) there's loads of arcades and they are saying they're doing the pavilion up. It's a good place to live def x

That's useful to know, thanks hun. Hubby might have job prospects so just talking really. But I have absolutely no idea about newcastle. If we move far away, it has to be better lifestyle/house etc for kids to make me leave my family! We bought our 4 bed house here for £210,000 5 years ago, hopefully it's worth that, no clue. Ideally want a cheaper mortgage/bills

Ah it's really nice at the coast, my ma loves it there, she lives in an estate called wellfield it's this lush detached stone house, nice garden etc I think they paid about 245k, but yeah there's lots of good areas round there, monkseaton is affordable. But no I go loads and its lovely! Eee you'd live near me! How long do you have to decide? The north east is great, I love Newcastle, it only takes about 25mins on the metro to get into the city and there's loads of good museums and a big city park that's lush in the summer, although if you were in Whitley it's so nice then too. They have an ice rink, a playhouse and there's an awesome primary school next to it, I'll try and remember the name! It's pretty far from where you are... Long move, but the north is fab, it's pretty community based still which is nice. I have loads of mates from Whitley and they are all lovely so the schools must be turning out some good kids :) x

Thanks hun! Lots of talking needed I think. I've never contemplated leaving my family but my kids happiness is everything to me, not entirely happy with the schools near me. There are lovely areas of Bristol but none that we can afford. I worry from being so far away from my mum, she wouldn't like it at all. But then we have talked about Oz so it's better than that lol!!

Definitely better than oz! Honestly the more I'm thinking about it, the more jealous I am, its definitely a nice way of family living, they did quite a lot to the prom last year and theres lots of lovely family stuff to do. They built a lush outdoor water park and its got a normal park right next to it, theres a sealife centre just along the coast (like 1mile!) in tynemouth, with a dinosaur crazy golf, every weekend theres lovely markets on in tynemouth too, lots of nice places to eat, and the fish and chips at the fish key are AMAZING! And the beaches are very very clean.. lots of people surf there too, and theres little sailing clubs for kids too) x

The first school is called Marine Park, have a look at it, its lovely. x

Awww that would be lovely! What does your husband do Jen?

I was almost too ashamed of my dinner to post a photo! It was HUGE! And exactly what I needed! Just realised I've had like 40syns too few this week! Very unlike me! Just had a few sweets to make up for it!

Pretty pleased, dan actually has gone ahead with the therapy thing, he's never taken it this seriously before, I think the last few weeks and discussing it all, all at once has really made him think this really is something he needs. I'm really happy about it, it shows he really does care, and is willing to go well outside his comfort zone to fix things. Phew! Xx

So pleased he's made that choice hun xxx

thanks girls, its funny, I've not even talked to any of my friends about this stuff, but I can talk to you guys about it, nice really. WI day tomorrow! eeeeeeek! Feeling good tonight, so I hope WI doesn't put a giant dampner on my weekend! I might even treat myself to fish and chips at the coast with my spare syns :) I've never had this many left before! woop! xxx
