Em's diary

Brilliant, well done Emma!

Hi Emma well done on the compliment! Re: the mustard I agree completely! Especially the coarse grain, I seem to consume that at twice the rate than the 'normal' stuff.

As usual your menu sounds YUM!

"Skinny" is lovely to hear... ("gaunt" is not, so keep an eye on the old face... those of us at a certain age have to watch the balance between a flatter tum and an older face... not you though Emma I'm sure!)

Very true! That's what's been worrying me about losing any more weight. The shrivelled prune look ain't a particularly good one.

I think Em's quite a bit younger, though, so she shouldn't have to worry about that for a good while yet.

Maybe I'm the only one who's noticed this, because of the large weight loss, but my slimmer face "moves" a lot more than my fatter equivalent! And, when fatter after Christmas, lots of people told me I looked better (in the face). I of course still only looked at the rest of me!

At 31 I'm hoping I still have enough elasticity in my skin to mostly bounce back from this large loss, especially as I've no intention of putting it back on! I think my face will be ok, but being amply chested my boobs seem to be bearing the brunt of it, and I doubt the skin there will retract much at all...:(

It's the boobs I'm worried about :) before I fell off the wagon last time they were beginning to disappear :(...

I keep having to tell myself I can wear a decent bra/chicken fillets :D "Insta-boobs" :) can't get "Insta-skinny" though  just proves my point...life is a woman with severe pmt (biatch :)) x

The boobs thing is an issue for me too.

I've been trying to get new bras but nothing fits right, and its due to the skin at the top sort of folding itself up under my armpits, just cant get the right shape cup to scoop it all in.
Buying bras is never easy, but the shape I am mid loss is extra annoying.

Elsewhere skin is pulling back into shape - dunno what will hppen withthe belly though...
Am a little older than emma so hopefully she'll be fine.

Ditto with the saggy wrinkly bits - oh dear :-(

Oh to be young :-(

Jaqys is there a bravissimo near you? If you're a d cup or over they do an amazing fitting service. I'll not go anywhere else for bras now. I'm not letting saggy boobs beat me though, I'll be getting them lifted for sure.

sports tops hold it all in !!!

All I can say is thank goodness for firming face cream! I haven't noticed much loss of elasticity just yet, but I'm sure it's on the way as I'm in my 40's now. My problem at the moment is fine lines under my eyes - my skin is so damn pale that it doesn't stand up to wear and tear and sun damage as well as people who aren't as bluey-white as me.

I had to laugh when I visited my family recently, though. My little sis told me that she thought I looked good - "much better as you've lost less weight than last time; you looked a little bit haggard then." When, in actual fact, I'm a whole stone lighter than last time! :p

I think if I put on 3 stone and told them that I'd lost weight (instead of gaining it), they'd tell me that I was far too skinny and needed to fill up with pies and cakes!

Haha, I'm a lost cause with loose skin - I don't think mine will ever firm up.

Haven't noticed any change in my face though, but I'm not the most observant.

No mustard I can't get excited about - it can go into room 101 along with the cottage cheese and the gherkins as far as I'm concerned! :)

got some dijon mustard in the fridge, bought it 'cos the "good book" recommended it (the dukan book not the bible ;) d'uh!)... not overly bothered tbh...

mind you I nearly love nor hate marmite :)...weird eh....

as for cottage cheese and gherkins....they might make life a little easier.... my world wouldn't end if they disappeared...but my diet would ;) x
