okay so just had another packet (tiny packet think its 20g) of Mr Porky Pork Crackle - nom nom! They are so delish! I love crisps so this is my savior!
 
Cauli has about 3g carbs per 100g, just to help you with your carb count. The mash is yummy and it makes great faux rice too.
 
Well I am just about to start and try and make my cauliflower mash so I will keep you posted on how it goes - just thinking perhaps putting it through my potato ricer may help - lets see! Wish me luck :p

Okay so here it is my first attempt at the cauliflower mash - nom nom! Just did it with butter, half a tablespoon of cream, salt and lots of pepper, going to split it in half have half with my steak tonight and then half tomorrow!
 
OKay so don't judge me as I am no chef so presentation not that great! But here is dinner! Sorry it's small had to crop it so it would upload - it is rump steak, with lettuce, garlic mushrooms and cauli mash - with a dusting of blue cheese - :drool::drool: and it was yummy! Hope it was all okay on induction - I counted my carbs and it was within my limit for the day

okay so this is day 4 of induction - well I am going to say day 3 properly as Friday when I started was a weird one, and I think I have Atkins "Flu" :( Since dinner I have felt dizzy and sweating like well a waterfall shall we say! Drinking plenty of water so just hope it passes soon!

thanks A x Feel like crap at the moment :cry:Just having one last browse around the sites, gonna play a few games on laptop then bed - so I am hopefully refreshed for work tomorrow - although we were moving office on Thursday and they have finished the move (I dont work Monday or Fridays) and my friend text me and said that my desk plan went out the window because of the cabling - so wonder what mess I will be walking into tomorrow, but I have my porkys and prawns ready to snack on tomorrow to keep me sane!
 
Always a good idea to go prepared - I usually throw some baby bels or similar into my bag for emergencies ... Hope you sleep well. X
 
ooh yes forgot I had put a couple of them in there too! Hopeful sleep well as long as the stupid milkman doesnt come down our street at 2am again tomorrow morning :eek: If he does I dont think I will be able to stop myself shouting out the window at him

At least you know feeling crap is a good sign ;) it's carb withdrawal, your body is getting used to not having carbs and just like giving up anything else addictive it will fight you for a bit. Don't give into it - that's the most important part. Once you're been solidly in ketosis for a while you'll find cravings will go and you won't even be that hungry most of the time. Good side effects to the weight loss!

Morning - how are you feeling today? Moonlights is right, if you're feeling rubbish it's your body detoxing the carbs!

It should only last a day or so - drink lots of fluids, and I find a bit of chicken stock in hot water helps too.
