I noticed the cals said 287 when they were 255 before...I'm super not amused at that hike!! Grrr

well, today i have been a busy wee bee...
spent the morning cooking bits and bobs seeing as i'm back to work tomorrow so wanted to get my snacky stuff sorted etc.

decided to take myself out for a walk (eeeeek! never heard of!! lol) and managed to do over 2 miles!!
i went to tesco to weigh myself...my god i need to get a grip!

if i'd have WI last week, i'd have had a gain but cos i didn't it was a big one - mentally, i dunno what was worse...2 in a row or the 1 big one lol

i'm not really fussed if i'm honest, i expected a big one, maybe not that big but i'm hoping that fluid retention from my shenanigans over the weekend, the bad food itself and the fact i weighed at a different time have something to do with that...but it's making me kinda look forward to seeing some of that gone next week ;)

i really need to focus on being on plan 7 days a week instread of only 4 or 5 and yeah, it was easter weekend....but i didn't need to make the most of it the way i did and all it's done is push me back a bit

anyway...onwards and downwards eh ;)

DAY - EE

Breakfast:
carrot cake oats, raisins, chopped banana

Lunch:
soup, dahl loaf and some frozen grapes (not had those for aaages and really enjoyed them)

Dinner:
roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrots, sprouts and corn with a drizzle of gravy

got fruit salad for afters but still full just now!

HEb: 35g oats

HEa: nothing yet

Syns:
raisins - 1
gravy - 1
crisps - 5.5
mini malteser bunny - 3

rice pudding with berries, banana and yog later in the morning

home made soup

Lunch:
mac and cheese and a satsuma

Dinner:
quorn burger, wm roll, lettuce, tomato, chips and pickles

2x hifi light

HEa's:
cheese and milk

seafood sticks, boiled egg and an alpen light (the old ones!!)

HEa: milk in the cuppa this morning

made my 1st ever lasagne today and i'm well impressed (thanks Rochelle ;) lol)
can't actually believe it's taken me this long to attempt one! but now i have, i'm def gonna do one with quorn which will be ideal for green days!

DAY - EE

lasagne (couldn't resist trying it when it was ready lol)

Dinner:
(more!) lasagne, sw chips and salad
bowl of frozen grapes

Hello diary...

well...mother nature showed her ugly face to me today....typical so close to WI eh!

anyway....felt pretty sh!tty through out the day and struggled with what to eat, that was on plan, but that i could stomach seeing as i get so sicky at times.

i'm pleased to say that it's saturday....and, for the 1st time in weeks...i'm here, behaving and still on plan!

i picked up the quorn chicken nuggets for the 1st time today, never bothered before cos i like to keep my syns for goodies rather than use them on meals through the day but seeing as my OH was getting a chippy....i needed something to help me NOT go off the rails!

anyway, as his delicious smelling king rib supper was consumed, i peeled potatoes for my own chips and stuck the nuggets in to make my own comfort food....i LOVED them!
even if i was off plan, i'd never eat something like that, and i'd never pick them from mcdonald's but these are definitely a winner! and for 1/2 syn each, they seemed worth it to help me stay on my best behaviour! ;) lol

couldn't manage the plate i served up to myself....eyes bigger than my belly and all that hehe

anyway...

DAY - GREEN

Breakfast:
fruit salad with some pudding rice mixed through

Lunch:
fruit and fibre with some extra raisins and ss milk
1/2 a banana

Dinner:
"chicken" nuggets, chips and beans :drool: :drool: :drool:
left over fruit salad

HEB's:
35g fruit and fibre
hifi bar

HEa's:
semi skimmed milk and might have a babybel if i need it later?

Syns:
raisins - 1
belvita choc breakfast biscuit - 3
6 x nuggets - 3
crisps - 5.5
malteser bunny - 3

15.5 for the day.

so, half a syn over but i'm not sweating over it. also not as much superfree as i could've had but i'm so chuffed that i've had 6 days on plan cos lately, the weekends have been my struggle....and with star week arriving today, i pretty much just wanted crisps, toast, stuff that was all off plan...BUT i didn't! ;) :D

i'm looking forward to WI on monday cos i feel i've had such a good week....and i know any loss is good, but i just hope i'm not disappointed!

hiya :)
i just cook pudding rice with some sweetener and water and add fruit and yog to it.
sometimes i'll boil it up with some milk and add vanilla essence but mostly just do it plain cos when i add the fruit and yog, i can only really taste that and whatever flavour of yog i've used...it just bulks it up a bit :)

the rice is syn free, i only use syn free yogs really but if i was using milk i'd use it from my HEa allowance

i prefer it like this to bulk up my breakfast without having to use my HEb than to have it on it's own as actual rice pudding ;)

ps....are you maybe thinking of overnight oats? that's when you soak your porridge oat in a yog? it's yummy too x

I have had the magic porridge before and it is yummy but as u say, it's nice to have a filling breakfast that dissent use up a healthy extra.

banoffee roulade (1/2 syn roulade with toffee muller and banana)

Snack:
chicken breast slices and a skinny cappuccino (while everyone around me had goodies!!!)

Dinner:
gammon shanks with some lettuce and a bowl of fruit salad and yog

HEb's:
orange hifi bar

HEa's:
skimmed milk in my cappuccino

Syns:
mini milky bar - 3.5
crisps - 5.5

9 for the day

yippeeee...a full 7 days on plan for me! i'm so pleased and looking forward to weighing tomorrow.
really hope i get a result that makes me happy!

i've only used 1 HEb so far so not sure if i'll use the other or what i'll have if i decide i need it later.

hope everyone's had a great weekend...as always, i've done nothing exciting but they always go too fast :( x

it's quite good eh!
i've got text cutie and text for IG too so go between them all.

i'm the same with pb and nutella....it's just too good....and even better together! ;) but i restrain myself....so last night was a NSV cos i really did use just a tsp and it was a brand new jar looking all lovely and tempting! lol x
