Evenin' all.... :D

happy to report a loss of 4lbs this morning...and off to a great start for a new week!
as usual, i was cooking this morning...made quiche, quorn lasagne, rice pudding, roulade...the usual stuff to help save time through the week when it comes to preparing my food for work ;)

DAY - GREEN

Breakfast:
the last of my banoffee 1/2 syn roulade with some yog
skinny cappuccino with sugar free caramel syrup

Lunch:
a bite of this or that once it was cooked...had some lasagne, a taste of my quiche and 1/2 HEb carrot oats which i'd forgotten to have when i made some the other day :)

Dinner:
quorn lasagne, sw chips and salad
bowl of fruit salad with yog and an alpen light crumbled over

HEb's:
alpen light and 17.5g oats
not used the other one today

HEa's:
45g mozzarella
skimmed milk in my cuppa this morning

Syns:
revels :drool: 8.5
crisps - 5.5

14 for today

thanks girls....it's a shame i hadn't been on my best behaviour at the weekends the last wee while otherwise i'd be smashing this weight loss....just been playing with the same weight since new year really cos i wasn't consistent - 5 off, 3 on, 1 off, 2 on etc....BUT...i'm on day 8 of behaving....in a row....long may it continue and then i'll see the results i want! lol x
 
What you've been doing is better than not doing anything and gaining loads back though! X

i was so miffed at myself the other week and was moaning to my OH that i didn't want to do this anymore...that i was fed up eating healthy, wanted to eat junk or whatever i wanted but i can't...and he said...you're talking rubbish....cos when you're off it, after a couple of days, you're craving the superfree and dying to get back on it!

lol....he's right...and it's a good thing i get like that i suppose.
just sometimes when we don't have what we like, we feel deprived....not often...just have the odd moment of madness and sometimes, i think it's better to get it out our system than have it wearing us down all the time causing us (me) to not follow the plan properly!

anyway all good just now and that's what counts eh!

i'm on day 9 of sticking to plan without giving it (or even wanting to really) and just taking each day as it comes ;) x

Hello diary....
what a day! glad it's almost time to get my pj's on...can NOT wait to plank my backside on the couch and watch the finale from last night of The Following (does anyone watch???)

food been on plan today....with a minor melt down at dinner time when i just didn't know what to have, and was running out of time...BUT i made a quick, on plan choice which has saved the day...YAY!

DAY - GREEN

Breakfast:
1/2 HEb carrot oats before work
alpen light and a boiled egg when i was there

Snack:
rice pudding with berries and banana

Lunch:
salad with egg, quiche, onion bhaji

Dinner:
baked potato with tesco healthy living sweet chilli cottage cheese - this was lovely!
fruit salad and yog

HEB's:
1/2 oats/alpen light
hifi bar

HEa's
skimmed milk in a cappuccino

Syns:
raisins - 1
crisps - 5.5
malteser bunny - 3

9,5 for the day :D

dunno why my rice pudding pic posted twice....but it was yummy so worth looking at twice ;) lol

Well done on not caving at lunch! Food looks great, think I'm going to get some rice pudding stuff on my shopping this week! Have you tried the cream soda one? X

was really chuffed, in the end, that my decision was an on plan one! and that cottage cheese was yummy!

i tried the cream soda rice last year when i hadn't long started the plan....wasn't as keen on that one but i just make this up plain...cos i mix the yog in it anyway so that's all i can taste (and the fruit) so it just bulks it up for me.
this is a staple really for me...cos it saves my HEb and i put lots of berries and 1/2 chopped banana in too.

i usually make some on the monday (1 glass worth) and take it to work the next few days. not had it this way for a while...but my fav is having it hot, then mixing everything in...i like that the raspberries melt a bit but the yog is cooler....must do that with the last wee drop i have ;)

not done the cous cous for a while...was thinking about that the other day!

well done on your WI results tonight...skimmed through on my phone a wee while ago and noticed on your diary :D x

Yeh that's why I like it, saves on the hexb! yours always looks lovely. I love it with fruit and choc shot!

keep seeing this choc shot...must try and remember to look out for it and see if i can get some.

i know this sounds daft...but what does it taste like?

sometimes i make my son chocolate porridge...just cook him normal porridge and stir in a tsp of nutella...could you do the same with that?
what other stuff do you add it to?x

Eurgh! i am grumpy!! :(

left the house 1st thing this morning for a 9am appointment i had, decided that, now we've finally been paid, after my appointment, i'd go for all the bits and pieces we need for the month - juice etc for work all month, chicken to put in the freezer and general stuff i'd been noting leading up to pay day.

anyway, i had a bite to eat before i left, went to my appointment then i was off to hit the shops on the hunt for some of the skinny popcorn mini packs that i've seen on IG (thought they'd be a change from my usual sainsbury's flavoured ones)

it started when i couldn't find a parking space....
so i drove away from where i needed to be to get a space, and trundled off to poundland to try there...none :(
went to another pound shop place....none :(
went for a nosey for some stuff for my son in Primark....didn't like anything for him so left

by this time, i'm starving and the smell of the breakfast stuff from everywhere is tempting me....so i nip to asda cafe thinking i'll get some scrambled egg and beans, that'll do me before i go everywhere else.

i get to the counter and theres fish, macaroni etc so i say "aww, did i miss the breakfast stuff?"
"no, there's some stuff left, what are you looking for?"
"some scrambled egg if you have any?"
"breakfast stuff's all gone"
"what time does it stop?"
"11.30"
"but it's only 11am...is it not still on?"
"no, we have to get the lunch stuff ready"
"but it's only 11 o'clock!"
"i can make you a fried egg"
*huff* "I'm not wanting a fried egg"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

grrrr...............fried egg....noooooooooooooooo! lol

so i browse at the cakes, pre packed sandwiches and head off - empty handed!!! ;) but in a strop

decided to take a quick look in asda for the popcorn...lifting more things as i pass, with no basket and, as my spring onions and lettuce fall everywhere, i discover they don't sell it either...sigh!

next stop is sainsbury's but i decide to detour and head to look for some sugar free syrup which i heard tk maxx sell. get parked, manage to find it, check 2 more bargain places for the popcorn...still nothing.
remember i'm still starving so make my way to M&S to get some 1/2 syn sushi...that'll do me til i get home, and it's a good choice....
M&S have moved everything....ROAR! lol
find myself 2 tangerines to have with the sushi....eventually find the sushi section....EMPTY...FFS...i'm so not queueing for 2 tangerines, put them down and leave.

nip to the toilet, pick up a coffee from costa to fill my tum and try the syrup...don't like any of them...bin them both.
give up and head to subway for a salad....then don't want it so head to Home Bargains to stock up on cereal bars, biscuits and juice (mostly for my OH don't worry lol)
HB was quite successful, manage to get a 2kg bag of potatoes for 55p and remembered the grease proof paper i needed - yay!

go to sainsburys. can't find the choc shot i wanted, or the metcalfe's popcorn multipack....and they don't even have any of their own stuff....i now want CAKE!! lol

next stop is aldi, for the last few bits and pieces, toilet roll etc, remember my frozen raspberries, baking powder and tomatoes for the mac and cheese i want to make soon. head home cos the boot is so full and i'm still hungry and gonna end up in mcdonalds....

get home, moan to my OH then go to put my tomatoes away...and they're all mouldy!
i forgot the eggs, cold meat for sandwiches next week....and i'm still bloody hungry!

RIGHT! that's it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i want indian! cake and hagen dazs! lol

what a bloody palava! should've just given up :giggle:

so i've typed this now, and it seems much more amusing than it did, ate carrot oats instead of the over priced, probably now soggy subway salad......and want to give myself a medal ;)

sometimes rants just make you feel better eh :D x
 
I shouldn't laugh, but there was a mini chuckle happening in my head as I read that...you poor thing...it sounds like something out of a comedy sketch! Did you find something a bit more filling to eat?! You deserve a medal I think!! Hope you're ok and the weekend gets better!! Xx

it's funny now that i'm "Not there"! lol...i'll let you off anyway...cos i'd have been the same ;)
i could've whacked her across the face with a fried egg...i mean, does she not know this is useless to me on my SW days! grrrr hehe

lunch ended up being the porridge, then some frozen grapes and dinner....at least i'm still on plan and didn't cave ;) x
 
well...glad to say the whole day didn't end up being like my shopping trip ;)

and it's almost the end of yet another full day on plan...yay!
celebrating that cos it could've been ruined in a split second lol

DAY - EE

Breakfast:
pudding rice, berries, banana and yog

Lunch:
carrot oats with raisins and the rest of the banana from this morning
frozen grapes (loving these! like my own wee bowl of syn free ice lollies ;) )

Dinner:
finally made the pizza topped chicken. had it with sw chips and some of the salad i'd picked up from subway this afternoon
also tried a few slices of frozen banana tonight too...quite like them!

HEb: oats
HEa: 1/2 milk/1/2 cheese

Syns:
raisins - 1
dressing - 2
crisps - 5.5
mini mars bar - 4

12.5 for the day *phew*

hello diary :)

just back from having a meal out with my OH...we went to nando's (my choice so i could stay on plan ;) ) and it was nice...he hadn't been before. really enjoyed it.

must admit i was tempted this afternoon to have some off plan stuff when i was bored...and hungry...but i didn't...and i'm really chuffed with myself!

posting my food quickly then it's time for my onesie, some low syn goodies and The Blacklist - yay!

DAY - EE

Breakfast:
egg wrap with quorn sausage (and a smidgen of ketchup...not counting it, wasn't even half a tsp!)

Lunch:
fruit salad cous cous and some tuna,sweetcorn and onion fritter things i tried (they were ok, a bit bland so not sure i'd rush to make them again)

Dinner:
plain butterfly chicken cooked with no skin, spicy rice, corn and salad. also tried a piece of the grilled halloumi - it was lovely!

HEa: hifi bar
HEa: a piece of halloumi cheese

Syns:
1 toffee - 2
spicy rice - 2.5
crisps - 5.5
mini malteser bunny - 3

13 for the day :D
