Everyone has a fat friend... I don't want to be yours! 2013...

Hi Texty, to be fair Ste is decorating and I will be drinking tea, watching and gossiping with my friend and her mum lol
I shall have my bag loaded with quavers, fruit and alpen lights xx

Sounds like a plan nettie lol. Its days like today that Ill be bad, im in on my own allllllllllllllllllllllll day so only have myself to cook for, and thats when I think ah its not worth making a meal for just me ill pick. BAD idea grrr. I made SW burgers yesterday and have some mixture left in the fridge so ill use that in a wholemeal bun and salad for lunch, then i dunno what to have for tea hmmmm

Afternoon!
I wasnt around last night, I was shattered so settled down with a book and had an early night. Ste decorated my friends room and then we went to his grans in the evening.
Been busy this morning, got Tyler ready to go to his Dads and then we went out for a few bits and pieces, Ste got some new clothes, I resisted buying any as I am going to wait until I am a size smaller, although I do need to go and buy something to wear for my birthday night out on Saturday.
I have bought 2 Biggest Loser workout DVD's from the £1 shop... bargain! Going to try one of them later.
I can't actually remember what I ate yesterday, I know I had pork stir fry and a curry sauce for tea but other than that I just munched on fruit I think. I didnt have any HEX B's I know that for sure. I'm so rubbish at weekends.

Today I have had:
Breakfast: water melon, apple, pineapple, grapes, kiwi and passion fruit
Lunch: some ham from the deli counter and a packet of quavers (4.5 syns)
Tea will be: some form of meat with salad and carrot chips
Drinks: one cup of tea and a sip of vimto! Back home now so I will drink at least 5 pints of water/NAS juice between now and bedtime.

You all had a good weekend so far? xx

Weekends are my downfall too nettie when the boys are away as i pick rather than cook. Today ive had my fruit and fibre and a banana, then ive picked at fruit as ive chopped it up for the next few days, and had a hard boiled egg and a piece of scan bran cake, im doing steak for tea with lots of veggies yummy

Morning everyone, ended up with pork chops, salad and boiled eggs for tea. I didn't eat much of it as I wasn't hungry at all.
I've done the first day of c25k and my hips were so sore yesterday, doesn't feel like a muscle pain though, it felt like my bones were grinding together? It's awful. I've decided to do it mon, wed and fri then leave it for the weekend. I hate exercise, it's so boring! Had a sneaky weigh in this morning and the scales are saying 1lb off so here's hoping for an official loss on Thursday morning xx

The running killed my knee so I took it in the gym and its much better. Good on you though - i wanted to do it as cannot run and just wanted to be able to say I could run 1k!!! I'm doing 100m at a time now.

That's the same type of pain I have In my knee ... Drives me insane! Hope ur hips feel better soon xx

I tried doing the c25k last year, it's killer! It's worth it though, you get epic results. My boyfriend's whole family used to be runners and now he's really into it so I thought I'd give it a go but I stopped once it started getting cold! I'm going to try and get back into it this year though.

Hope it goes well for you! :)

Hi everyone, sorry I wasn't around yesterday, my daughter was ill after school so I was there for much needed mummy cuddles. I have been ok, did a green day yesterday and was 100% but I don't think green days agree with me, I get so bloated and get a tummy ache. Back on red today.... Will do a full update soon, just about to get my running gear on, speak soon xx

Yep green can be uncomfy & this comes from a veggie of 20+ years. Quorn is the culprit for me so I keep it to a minimum. It's a problem for quite a few people. My old consultant used to say that red or ee would lose you the weight fastest. Hope your daughter is feeling better

Hi everyone,
My little Holly is fine now, she took herself off to bed when she got home after school yesterday then when I got home at about 5:15pm her temperature was 39. She had some calpol, lots of water and lots of mummy cuddles and was fast asleep by 8pm. She was fine this morning then when I picked her up from after school club they said that she had told them she had head ache but she has been fine since we got home and was fast asleep by 7:30pm.

I have done the 2nd day of c25k and my hip is in agony. its definitely the bone, feels like the joint. I'm just going to do the training every other day. I probably did it a bit too much today, I started running on 8, then went up to 9 and finished on 11.5 I did feel my hip kinda pop so I think I may need to slow down and pace myself. It's weigh in day on thursday and I just hoping I lose, is it right that muscle holds onto water when exercising or something like that?

Anyway, today has been a red day:
Breakfast: 2x wholemeal toasts with laughing cow (HEX A and 2xHEX B)
Lunch: prawns and a mixed salad
Tea: Steak, Turkey and salad
Snacks: WW crisps (3.5 syns) special k crisps (5 syns)
Drinks: 1 litre of NAS vimto and 2 cups of tea

Is the c25k any good?? I would love to be able to run.

I would definitely recommend it! My OH is ahead of me as he has been doing it every day and he has really enjoyed it. We use the treadmill at home which is really convenient. The first time the running is so hard (or it was for me who doesnt even walk anywhere!) but after a few rounds of walking-running-walking its alot easier. Have a go! If you have an iphone you can get a free app x

If I ever do green again ill be sticking to jacket potato for lunch and egg, chips and mushy peas for tea. Yesterdays pasta bake for lunch and baked bean lasagne for tea was just too much for my tummy :(

Well done for actually running ... I'm still at the fast walking pace during the running sections!

How long have you been doing it? I just had a sudden burst of energy yesterday, I'm sure I won't be running everyday x
