Extra Easy Online - attempting to maintain!

Oh my! So jealous! I've been craving scones with clotted cream and jam for ages. Sounds yum!

I really need to try to stay on track for the rest of the week. I really don't want to gain anymore as I don't think I'm in the right mindset to try to lose weight at the moment. I just can't seem to resist the sweet stuff at the moment!

Argh I've just been looking back at my diary and I haven't had a proper on plan day for ages!!! I'm determined to be 100% tomorrow.

I'm going to start putting all fruit and veg that can count towards my 5 a day in bold so that I can make sure I am having that with every meal even if it isn't necessarily SF. Good food day today. I really wish I had the willpower to throw out my Xmas chocolates but I don't. The OH is doing a very good job of eating them so hopefully they'll be gone soon. I haven't even opened my selection box from my Mum yet so I must still have some willpower left!

We made another Paella tonight as we went to the OHs parents and offered to cook. As well as the standard Chicken & Chorizo we also made a Seafood Paella. I'll add the recipe to my online recipe book as it was really yummy so we'll definitely be making it again.

Yeah we're buying the house so it's unfurnished. We've rented an unfurnished flat in London so we have most stuff. It's all been in storage for a couple of years so it'll be great to get it all back! We're not exactly in love with the house as it is but it had SO much potential so I'm really excited about doing the work to make it ours.

I worked a double shift yesterday with a 2 hour break in between so the OH met me for food. I think I did pretty well considering!?

I just had a couple of Morrisons NuMe sausages and they were absolutely disgusting and a complete waste of 2 syns! Those are going straight in the bin and I'm off out to get more WW sausages.

Thanks hun. Fingers crossed we'll be in next week. Hope it does hun. We're in a similar position where there is no chain either side but we had problems with some land that needed registering. It seems everyone was right and it's not as simple as you think it's going to be but fingers crossed it will be for you guys!

It's simple in theory but not in reality and so feckjng frustrating. My flat I have now is shared ownership with local housing. When I bought it I made myself poorly with stress. Most of it was down to lack of communication and idiotic mistakes like wrong dates, names and addresses on documents which put me back weeks.

Arrrghhhhh making me angry just thinking about the debacle of last time lol.

And breath ;-)

I haven't seen WW sausages here but we have a brand called Mallons and Slimmers Choice that are both free and they are gorgeous. You've out the idea in my head now to get them for a nice breakfast tomorrow :)

That's great about having stuff in storage. You have a lot more experience then me in this department but i definitely think a lot of TLC is needed to make you 'love' a place. It took a good week for it to feel like ours. Little things like smells. Sounds weird but it now has 'our' small (which is a good one lol) and weve slept in the bed 10 times now so it feels like ours. Our en suite bathroom was so dull and dreary looling and a bright coloured shower curtain, bin, nice luffa and some candles made it totally morph! I really like it now. Same with our main bathroom! Likewise with the kitchen. Its quite small so we are still seeing what works and we are getting there. Are you planning to buy lots of bits and then move in or move in and get things as you can? Its an adventure, and of course is scary in ways, but its a wonderful thing and you are with the love of your life. Can't wait to see what you russtle up in your new kitchen :D

X

We want to do some work to the house including an extension, new kitchen and bathroom, and knocking through a wall to make the living room bigger. We also need to paint and put down a new carpet upstairs. The garden also needs a bit of work. We're hoping to be able to do the majority of the work this year which is really exciting. I've always fantisised about having my own home as I love interior design and I've been thinking about my dream kitchen since I was little haha. I'll post pics when we move in so you guys can see what it looks like before we do anything to it.

We aren't planning any major structural work and we aren't moving any plumbing (both of which we were originally planning) so hopefully it won't be too expensive or disruptive. I can't wait to get an architect over so we can get an idea of costs and time scales. It's so exciting!

All sounds very exciting and that's the areas in our place that needs work too. I can foresee heated discussions about colours and style for us tho. I mentioned New England and shabby chic the other day which wasn't met with much positivity ;-)

Haha we haven't quite got round to that yet. The kitchen is very much MY area as I do all the cooking but we do have similar tastes and we didn't have many problems in our last home so hopefully we don't have too many disagreements! We played it very safe in the last place with lots of cream and white so I'm going to try not to be scared of colour in the new place. I think today will mostly be spent looking on design blogs and adding ideas to pinterest!

Same here. We are all creams, browns and neutral colours at the mo. I too fancy playing with colours, checks and prints.

Good site to look at is 'house to home' you will lose hours on that ;-)

Ooo I've been wanting to redecorate my house too, so def like the sound of that site! I only had 7 weeks to get my entire house done up to move into (it was a total wreck) so just had to go with magnolia (Ick) everywhere for ease and speed, apart from my kitchen which i love, that's a weird grey'y purple kinda thing with dark wood tops and cream cabinets, I have a lovely double oven too, love my kitchen I just wish it was bigger!! Xx

Ooh thanks I'll check that out thanks for the tip! Your kitchen sounds gorgeous charl - similar to what I want for mine. I can't wait to get started!

It is really exciting, although I've been in mine 3 years now, and theres loads of things i want to change, I think we're going to tackle the sitting room soon, I was to put some different fabric on my dining chairs, and finally get the tele up on the wall and get rid of my horrible tv unit, so I can get a nice sideboard to put bits and pieces on (and in!), I think we're going to try and get some driftwood shelves made too, which I've been after for ages! I really need to get my sofas cleaned too, they are this funny material and gone so horrible now as they're about 5 years old. I think it might be my summer activity doing the house out (if I can save some student loan to get it all done!)

When are you moving love? and how is the maintaining going? x

Next Friday! Most of our stuff is in storage so we haven't got too much to pack thank god. Having moved so many times in the past I HATE moving with a passion!

Maintaining is going well thanks hun. I seem to be fluctuating between 9st 10lbs and 10st which is below target so I'm very happy with that! This morning I was 9st 11lbs :). I honestly never thought I'd be 9st something! I just hope I can keep it that way!
