Fair, forty but not fat!

Thanks everyone :) I'm feeling a bit brighter this morning, even if the scales have fluctuated up half a lb. I'm in my size 14 jeans and it feels good to know that, even if the outside world can't see the labels!

I need to get my wedding an engagement rings resized - I'm in danger of losing them as they're slipping down my finger all the time. I had to have them sized up about 5 years ago (J to a M) and it looks like it's time for them to go back to the jewellers. Going to wait until after the family do on 11th June and bite the bullet then. Don't like being without them, but I'm going to lose them if we carry on like this.

Off to see the boat this morning. I really like this one, but the woman selling it is a sarcastic muppet... Difficult one...
 
As much as it would suck to give your money to a sarcastic muppet... I'm sure the boat would be most greatful to be in the hands of a normal person!!! lol!!! x

We're going to be poor forever after buying this. Still, there are worse ways to go ;)
 
But you'll be rescuing a boat off a sarcastic muppet... think of the good karma points that this is going to earn you... you should be having good luck for ages for doing this, lol!!!
 
LOL She's a lovely boat - saw her last weekend and she just felt right.

We'll end up in Oxford one summer - you'll have to come out for a chug (and a drink or three - would be rude not to toast to the boat!)
 
Oh moog that would be so so soooooo lovely! I've always loved those little long boats, my parents are from stafford so I've grown up walking along the canals and watching the locks. Never actually been on a boat though, so that would be most exciting! x
 
OK - we're on!

Actually, if we do get this one, we'll see if we can sort something out earlier. We're picking it up from Stafford to bring north. Locks are brilliant exercise ;)

I LOVE boats! One day I want to own one but that's one day very far away! We used to have holidays on barges and stuff when I was younger sometimes and I loved it. To be honest I just love anything to do with water! Rivers, lakes, the sea, I don't know what it is about them, just love being by them and on them!
