Hi,
Gosh I've had these start days so many times and had I stuck to any diet that I've started in the past then I wouldn't be in such a mess. 58 years of age, 17stone 7lbs and now being prescribed all the known medication associated with being overweight by my doctor.
So this is my vow - I've chosen the SML - VLCD and I'm going to stick to it for 4 weeks and then review my diet plan. I've checked with the doctor and pharmacist and I've got the thumbs up, apparently I can reverse the need for all but one of my medications by diet alone. Clearly I need to be on a diet for more than 4 weeks but I the thought of being on a diet for maybe a year was too much and, that's what's made me fail before - so baby steps. 4 weeks no cheating..... I can do that, surely!
I've also bought a fitbit watch (yes all the gadgets and no will power) and I've set myself a 12,000 step target per day.
So, best get out of bed
step 1 of 12,000 and make the shake...
Good luck to all out there.... Cheshire
