Morning! Lovely morning here (for a change!) so going to make most of it and head out for long walk with DD2 later .................
B - scrambled egg, 2 x rashers of bacon L - leftover chilli, grated cheese, sour cream D - salad and chicken and maybe some coleslaw, beetroot Made some Atkins style cheesecake tasted nice but lots of calories so won't have them very often!
Hi Flutter, well I was hoping for a nice quiet weekend, but I've just heard that the FIL has fallen down the stairs, he's been taken to hospital, but really he needs to be in a care home, but he won't go, he's too stubborn.
So sorry to hear that Jim I do hope he's ok (and your wife too of course) .... must be heartbreaking as you try and respect his wishes but also do what's best for him (and the family).
Sorry to hear that Jim. I was in a similar position with my Dad but after his final fall and a hospital stay he was forced into a care home. It was the best place for him.
Sorry to hear about your FIL Jim, I hope he's OK and something can be settled about his long term care. It really is hard when relatives want to remain independent but just aren't able for it any more. Old age can be cruel.
Morning All - another fine (ish) day here but still trying to decide what to have for brekkie .... B - choc MIM but haven't mixed it enough ah well not time to make another! L - D - meat in the slow cooker with veggies probably cabbage or cauli and broccoli
Morning Jim I'm well thanks eating breakfast whilst 1 daughter jumps around in the ballpit and the other is eating the dishcloth! It's amazing how quickly you're shipped out of hospital nowadays - hope you manage some relaxing time at the weekend.
Tonight we're having Indian takeaway as we didn't get last weekend for DH's birthday so trying to limit calories and carb intake - B - lettuce, chicken, tomato, coleslaw L - lettuce, chicken, cucumber, coleslaw D - chicken tandoori for starter then chicken tikka with the salad that came with it - yummy
Unfortunately the curry must have been carby as I'm out of ketosis and scales have gone up and it's bleeding weigh in tomorrow so have limited myself today to try and limit damage - B - fried egg L - small bowl cauli soup, ham filled with boursin, cucumber, salad D - not hungry so MIM toast with cheese Snack - Atkins bar
