Monday's food, red day

Brunch - smoked salmon, sliced tomatoes (s), scrambled egg, magic porridge, berries (s)
Snack - clementine (s), ham, apple
Lunch - roll, pâté , tomato (s)
Snack - yoghurt & berries
Dinner - salmon, BNS, samphire, green & black choc (15 syns)

Day two, so far so good

B - pancakes, yoghurt & lots & lots of berries, apple
L - bacon salad
S - fruit salad, roll with pâté & toms. Cadburys choc (4 syns)
D - pork steak & veggie curry
Magic porridge & a bit of Easter egg (4 syns)

I'm looking forward to not have loads of chocolate in the house tempting me all the time!

Today was the first day back at work, thank goodness it's over! Food wise, today has been surprisingly easy. I feel much fuller than I usually do.

B - magic porridge, berries, apple
S - fruit salad
L - veggie curry
S - roll, pâté & cherry tons
D - pork stir fry with sweet chilli sauce (2 syns)
Green & blacks (10 syns)

Today was my first meal out on SW & it went fine. I tried Balinese for the first time and it was yummy although very spicy! I asked for reduced oil & went for dishes without cream & coconut so fingers crossed it didn't have too many syns. Afterwards we went for coffee & pudding - I opted for a mint tea & fruit salad so felt quite virtuous meaning I could treat myself to a bit more Easter egg!

B - porridge yoghurt & apple
L - veggie curry
S - fruit salad
D - stuffed squid in a spicy sauce, green beams in shrimp paste (6 syns at a total guess)

Oh it's the weekend, how wonderful! The first five days of slimming world have gone well I think. I guess the weigh in on Monday will tell. I'm having a Friday night in so I've treated myself to some calamari (Syn free!) , meringue nests & a House boxset. I know how to live!

Today is a day of many syns! Hopefully it won't make too much of an impact. I has a hours bike ride so am counting on that balancing it up.

A green day today for a change. I was entertaining so it seemed easier

B - magic porridge (hexb) berries
L - spicy chickpeas, peanut & pumpkin curry (3 syns), rice, tomato, onion & cucumber, mango
S - oatcakes (12.5 syns), crab terrine (5 syns), green & blacks (8 syns)
 
I've taken a bit of a break, firstly because of illness & also because I'm trying the 5:2 diet. I know a few people that have had a lot of success & am hoping to drop a few pounds quickly before I go on holiday - 2.5 weeks to go!
