Food Diary of a Good Girl (10 weeks til W-Day!) x x

Its so hard, I feel much more in control on my days off work and i'm off tomorrow but back at work Tuesday for 5 days straight and I work with one girl who is always saying things like "you dont need to lose any more weight, stop now and put some back on" and then goes out and buys chocolate brownies!! I used to be really disciplined at work and now im just not :(

I wouldn't go tomorrow Nikki, like Angela says it will depress you if you put on, you can turn it around in 3 or 4 days. Plus, if you do lose you'll miss your round of applause and maybe award at your regular group!! Sad i know but really spurs me on! I need three really good days so i'm going to try so hard now. Not put on in 7 weeks and not going to start now xx:D

I dont usually stay to group and I think maybe thats the problem :( xxx

I know! its quite grim really... There was another post recently about how much weight you've lost, but in modern day items if you like, like hoovers and toddlers... That was an eye opener as well :) x x

I used to stay and now it just takes up too much time at a night time. But i'm now on a 21 day alcohol free as last night was the final party until Easter so I might start staying to group and hopefully hit target before 14th may xx

Maybe you both need to try a new group? Mine's really good, I hate going but always glad when I stay as I always get loads of support and good tips xx

Yes we did that at my group last week...this was my equivalent of my 9lb loss

I know, isn't it!! I've been giving that little fella a piggy back for 7 weeks!! No wonder i'm always knackered!! xx
 
Awwww!! I think he's cute!! I love all the little ugly animals, wouldn't feel too great if I was carrying him in my bag though :)

I like my leader, but I'm the same as Nikki... I finish work at half 5, walk home, class is at 7 and often doesn't finish til half 8, quarter to 9 by which point I'm starving :(

I know what you mean about group, and I have only been twice!! Lol!! I'm normally working Monday's, WI starts at half five, then don't get out til bout 7!!! Pppffftt by that time I could eat a horse lol xx

I know what you mean about meetings, surely there is another one near to you that may not be as long? Ours is about an hour, i finish work at 6, ours is 6.15, meeting usually finishes by 7.15/7.30. But I usually buy some hi fi bars and eat one in class so i'm not starving. Then i have a lovely celebratory tea when I get in. First two weeks I went to the chippy which is round the corner and had meat pie and a chip barm!! Was hard to resist as I could smell it as I walked back to my car, but then the third week I went and thought the smell of greasy fat was disgusting!! So that's good! Now I just come home and eat what I like on a weds evening!! xx
 
I usually go to my Nans after weigh in and we drink everything from Bacardi to wine and eat crisps and dips followed by dinner and a pudding! I've told her today that I'm not doing it any more as I just set myself up for a crappy week by eating all that before I've started my week. So from tomorrow its back to basics to try and shift this last few pounds!

Week 8, Day 5

B: "Magic" Porridge - used 28g Ready Brek (B) and 1 x Banana and Custard Mullerlight... Didn't like, maybe ate half :( so had a banana instead

S: Apple

L: Chicken Salad, 3 x Babybel Light (A) Strawberries, Melon, fat free Activia (Strawberry)

D: Chicken wrapped in Bacon, SW Chips, Broccoli and Cauli

Naughties: Mr Men Jelly Sweets, 1/4 of a Pop Tart, Crisps... (Maybe 10 for the lot?)

Fluids: Water, 3 x Tea (1.5 for Milk)

Syns: 73/70

Well ladies I went to WI today.....4.5lbs on :( don't know how this is possible in one week but never mind its done now and in the past.

Angela....I have tried many times to do slimming world chips and they always turn out rubbish :( attempting them again tomorrow night!
