Oh Hun I hope you and Stringer are ok? That's awful thank goodness neither of you got hurt. Must of been terrifying xxx
Oh girls it was the worst fright I've ever had in my life.. But yea Nessa he's OK.. Was a bit shaken n wudn't come to me at first when Jonathan came down but was grand after a few mins.. I thought "OMG he hates me now" n was devastated even more then.. But he was back to normal after a little walk then.. Worst night EVER!!Ahhh how scary
Thank you Carly..xxAwww petal - so pleased u are both ok!! Xx
Brona it was awful.. But we're all good so that's the main thing.. Just need to keep up his routine walking and hope he's not too scarred from it.. I'm getting on to DSPCA this morning tho.. I don't want the dog taken off them, but I want them to know they need to keep it kept securely for their dogs sake as well as the rest of ours..God hon, u ok now? Must hav been terrible! :-(

Thanks Sarah.. God it was so scary.. The thing just came out of nowhere.. Saying that I have the worst eyesight and it was dark so it was even worse.. But before I knew it the thing was on top of poor Stringer.. Thankfully he was fine but was just like WTF do I do?! Do I keep hold of him. Pick him up. Let him go...Aw babe, I'm so glad your both ok. I was near crying reading that. It's always one of my fears walking Doug as soon as another dog comes to see him I tell the kids to stand back. I'd never forgive myself if they got caught up in anything like that. It must have been so scary. Poor little stringer and you.xxx

Aw thanks Daisy.. I know what a cheek!! He was like "pick up yer fuking dog. It must be in heat" I was like.. Eh its a PUP you thick and its a boy! So no, its not in heat yer dog is just viscious!!!Oh Frances Hun,so sorry to hear this, you are doing the right thing getting Stringer back out there and reporting the people so they secure the dog! How scary for you.Glad you are both ok :0)
What a cheek the guy shouting at you though!
Laura I am never ever ever bringing him out at night on my own again.. EVER!! At least when I can see I can prevent these things happening.. not that I can see round corners.. lolAww poor Stringer. Maybe you should carry a stick with you when walking again, just so if it happens again you can give the other dog a slap on the nose to get rid of it. Definately report it. There is an alsatian dog beside my moms that is always out and about by itself. Mum is nervous of it as it ran after my sisters dog, she had to lift the dog and run for the house!!! But she was telling the owner to keep it in his yard. Owner is an ass....but anyway he never listened and a few weeks ago it ripped my mums cat to pieces, mum was so so upset. We reported the dog to the gardaí, it could have been one of our babies in the yard!!!! Some people should just not have dogs :-(
Don't mind at all.. There's a list of them.. I know off hand German Shepherds, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Huskys, Japenese Akita's are on it.. There's about 10 r 12 on the list altogether.. And then you have the banned breeds.. But I don't know what they are.. I think they're like boxers n them big scary dogs..Would you mind me asking what's a restricted breed?? You were dead right to call the dog warden, if a dog has that kind of personality it always will. It will attack again and you mightn't be so lucky the next time. You or stringer!!
