Aw Claire i'm not joking its the biggest pain in the AR5E!!! I'll be surprised if we make it thru!!! I've been so wound up about it the last week r so that it all came to a head yesterday and I blew up at Jonathan... So we're not talking now.. I'm just so frustrated n he won't even make a bloody phonecall!! Very annoying!! If I dont ring r chase, nothing gets done.. Then he has the cheek to give out things arent moving... Seriuosly.. if he was near me last night I'd have punched square in the nose!!

Matthew is EXACTLY the same !!! i feel your pain !! i literally have to ring the phone number before he would do it .... bloody MEN !!!!!!

Ile tell ya somert that we argued about the other day, and im still fuuuuuuming !! were paying for absolutely EVERYTHING on our wedding ..... so Matthew has 3 best men coz he couldnt choose ...... they goes looking at suits to hire on sunday and chatting about his stag ...... he comes back saying that his best men are expecting US to pay for their suits ???? coz they are covering the costs of his stag ................ how does that work out??? so we argued and it got to the point where he was saying that if we dont pay for their suits, he will have a crap stag ??????? an were talking 4/500 quid on suit hire for 3 best men and matthews suit!!!! told matthew to downsize his stag coz im only goin liverpool for a piss up in a cheap hotel ..... ooooooofffff im seeeeethinggggggg !! it stressed me out so much my ibs flared up and i looked 8 months preggers !!!

Saying that tho.. When I done bridesmaid for my best mate she bought our dresses, shoes n accesories and paid for our tans, makeup, eye lashes, hair... AND... paid for each of the wedding parties rooms in the hotel for the night....
Then when I done it for my brother... We had to get EVERYTHING for ourselves...

Hey hunnie... How are ya?
Ugh.. The house!! Well we got SO fed up Jonathan went to the estate agents office today and told him things haven't moved in weeks and we're fed up waiting so we want out deposit back... So the auctioneer rang the seller and let Jonathan speak to him.. There's a new issue from South Dublin County Council to do with the blocking of the lane at the back of the house.. Its nothing to do with our house but SDCC are putting the blame of the blockage on our house.. Shud b sorted in the next couple of days.. So he's asked that we hang on for another week and for our inconvenience he's giving us all the furniture and kitchen appliances for nothing (we were arranging price for leaving them) and leave a few bottles of wine in the kitchen cooling for us.. He apologised and Jonathan said he seemed legit enough about it all and was very understanding of us being fed up!! So we at least know now whats happening and have asked to be kept in the loop so.. still not moved forward but at least we know why...

Any idea on dates for yours? x

Hello lovely!

So sorry I've not been on, I was stupidly down in the dumps then busy and I found that the longer I left it the harder it was to reappear again.

Anyway I hope you dont mind me coming back and thank you so much for your best wishes and 'misses' on my diary.

I can't believe the mess about with the house, like I've said to you before I believe that things happen for a reason.

We went to the bank yesterday to see about being approved for a mortgage and we'd get it but we have to save 12000 first as a deposit god knows how we'll do that. Crap isn't it?

Anyway quick WW update, I started on MFP for a bit but coz of the exercise I was doing I couldn't work out the amount of calories I should've been eating so I started going to WW classes which have been great, really motivating and I lost half a stone in the first 2 weeks. I just hope I can continue going the way I am coz I'm off on holiday to newquay in August, I wanted to be at goal by then (still 20lbs to go) but I've set myself a mini goal of 7lbs to loose by that time. I didn't want to be unrealistic and put pressure on myself so I see 7lbs as doable.

Claire i know. They were fooked with loans n debts n still are 2 years later. silly gettin tinti that much debt when u don't need to. Bug she insisted she pay so all we cud do was give a decent sum in the wedding card to try cover at least some of it...

oooo boo!!! thats such a sh*t reason too!!! if it was something that was actually to blame on the house then fine but your poor house is being used as the scape goat!!! good about the furniture and the wine though!!! fingers firmly crossed for you!!!

no !!!! i spoke to our developer again last week and asked and i spoke to the nice lady this time and she basically said at end of may/ begginning of June they will have a list for completion dates in July! if we arent on that list then we will be completing in August, i then sort of said ok great BUT in June we need the date for August not just to be told it will be August!! our sofa has a two month lead time, if we move in the first week in August then we are already two months away this week! Steve is being pushed to book time off work too, also we are sorting out our flooring so will need to book them in! STRESSED isnt the word!!!! so i think sat or sun i will call them for an update. The lady we speak to is really nice and i know she will push it for us!! so fingers crossed.

Someone who was moving into the block that we know apparantly went in and wasnt happy with a few things and said that he wants to pull out etc they then got offered £5k off the price by the developer for the inconvenience and then he still pulled out!!!!

i said to Steve that we should kick up a fuss!! lol! maybe get our options for free lol xxx

Well another gain this week.... Ate very little yesterday but drank quite a bit. Then today didn eat allot, but what I did eat was deliciously bad!! AND I didn drink any water ;( Oh well

Thanks hun.. All is not lost just yet.. I was driving by the house on Saturday (saying goodbye lol) and the owner was in there... So I went in n chatted to him.. He's only pulled out coz he said it wasnt' fair to leave us hanging on indefinitely while waiting for SDCC to get their finger out n come out n do their investigation.. It could be this week.. but then again it could be 6 months down the line...
SO.... My friends husband works in SDCC so I got the fella's name and department from SDCC that's dealing with it and Peter (my friends hubby) is gona see if he can get it moved on quickly...

So I may still get me house after all... Am tryna not think that way tho coz I swear Friday was tear filled!!!!!

Thanks hunnie... I really really want that house.. But I'm trying not to get my hopes up.. Nothing may happen..
In fairness tho, the man that's selling the house has been in to SDCC hassling them trying his very best to sort it out as quickly as possible as well... He was really nice n very understanding of our situation..
He told me he'd only said to his wife a few weeks ago (just before all this started) that he might give us the keys so we can get working away doing what we wanted with the house so its ready and the way we want it when we sign off on it n move in.. He was really nice.. So fingers crossed SDCC move quickly on something.. Although they aren't very efficient to say the least...
