It started on RTE 2 this week over here (And is on E4 too).. Its so good.. I'm on episode 8 already.. been watching it 2 days!!

Had a blazing rowe with my Dad this morning.. Someone was ringing the house phone at 6am again this morning. Rang it out TWICE before ringing him on his mobile!!
So I left him a note (he was still in bed when I left for work!) asking him to ask his friend not to call the house at that time in the morning. Its not fair waking up the whole house when they're gona call his mobile eventually!!
So he rang me (when I was IN WORK!) and was cursing and shouting down the phone n calling me names and eventually hung up on me! Mature for a 60 year old eh?!
I was far more polite in the note than I wanted to be as I really didn't want it to be an argument. I just this its very unfair when people have to be up for work to have people ringing the house at that hour!
Anyway he's saying it was a "friend" it was work.. I mean come on.. he's a handyman! No-one needs someone out that early that they ring at 6am!!! And either way.. WHO would call a house at that time!!! Its ridiculous..
Its not the first he's got phone calls to the house phone at that time which is the only reason I said anything..
Then he start going on about me coming in from nights out and waking him up.. I said "eh sorry but you do that too and you do it far more often than I do. (Last saturday was the first time I've been out since March and I didn't even go home! So I've come in at maybe 3am on a Saturday night ONCE this year!!!) And I'm not giving out about that. That's on a weekend when no-one has to be up! I'm only complaining that its unfair to have people calling the house at 6am when people have to be up for work!"
He refuses to see my point coz he hates being wrong!!

This means also as he so childishly hung up.. there's another argument looming when I get in! Oh great!!!

oo i remember you saying abut early phone calls before!! completely different as you said about the coming in late!!! and like you said you havent even done that haha!! frustrating when people dont see your point isnt it!!! even in a real emergency if its early or really late i think twice about calling a house phone and thats in an emergency!!! can't they just call his blooming mobile! thats what they are for afterall!!! hope you dont argue tonight!! just think. . . not long and you will be in your lovely house with Jono!!!! xxxxx

I know.. That was my point. They know you're not up at 6 so ring yer mobile!! At least its gona be answered quicker and potentially will only wake him!!
When i said on the phone "I didn't want this to be an argument, I just wanted u to see my point" he went "well tough. You're an arogant little fuking b1tch!" So I just said "oh yea.. here ya go with yer name calling" and he hung up!! I mean seriously.. He's 60! Not 16!!
Then he tried twisting my words and coz I kept correcting him he went ballistic!! Well he can fuk right off. He's out of order having people call the house at that hour. No matter how he looks at it.. And he knows it which is why he was going mad.. And the fact he resorted to screaming, cursing and name calling just proves he knows he was in the wrong and is too stubborn to admit it..
He got too used to my Mam backing down and agreeing to everything he said over the years and he's not used to anyone standing up to him so it infuriates him when I do.
IF it actually was someone ringing about work he could have simply and calmly said that and it'd have been over and done with.. But to be shouting, cursing and name calling down the phone.. Uncalled for!!

I'm gona have a look online for flats that rent on a month to month basis and see if I can find somewhere to move in to between now n when the house comes thru..
 
Any chance you can live with Jono now until the house is ready? Or with a friend? Most flats etc. want you to sign a years lease :(

Don't worry you will be movin out soon hun, I have this all the time of I'm on nights no one tip toes around for me so I can sleep but if it is them I get **** if im loud. I can't wait to move out next year

:( not good hun! i agree with azwethinkweiz!!! im angry too!!! send your dad on here we will tell him what for!!! he's def out of order and like you said he obviously knows it which is why he re-acted that way!!! men!!! do they EVER grow up!!! i hope that this eve is ok for you!! can you stay with Jono or a friend? you wont have long to wait hopefully!

No girls I wouldn't stay in his even if it was an option.. I couldn't put his parents out like that and wouldn't put them under the pressure of asking... I can stay there at weekends n stuff n if I can't stay there there's friends I can stay with.. But mid week I'd never ask anyone to put me up.. I just cudn't put someone out like that.. If it comes to it I'll just stay put and live in my room.. But means diet wise I'll be kinda screwed as I won't be in the living area when he's there..
He has gone too far this time.. Ringing me up in work like that making a holy show of me!!
Sarah I'm so used to his name calling now it has no affect.. He's call me worse believe me!! But I agree, its not acceptable!
I was upset this morning and I know I will when it kicks off again when I get home.. But not that I was arguing with him.. Just that I was arguing.. I'm not an argumentative person at all and raised voices, regardless, just set me off!! I will stand my ground but no doubt there will be tears.. Its how I let out my anger.. Otherwise I'll have to slap him and we don't want that.. lol

I mean, is it so unreasonable to ask for a little respect?! Get yer friends to ring yer mobile if they need to speak you at ridiculous o'clock.. simples!!!
And again... He's 60!! Not 16!!!

Good morning my minimin friends..
Well after all the drama yesterday morning I went home, had my shower, and got into bed! And didn't leave it until this morning..
I was a bit bold in that I had NOTHING to eat from 4:30pm yesterday.. I had a muffin with a cup of tea while reading a mag in my car waiting for Jonathan to finish work! But I had no dinner n nothing crossed my lips after that.. Whoops!!
Weigh this morning shows a STS which is fine.. After all the food n drink consumed over Saturday, Sunday AND Monday I can't ask for better!!
Today am going shopping and for food after work with my friend so will be good up til then and have whatever tickles my fancy :) Usually have Friday as a "get it out of yer system" day anyway so nothing strange there.. Just usually would cook so cal intake wouldn't be too mad so I'll be a little better today to make up.. :)
Really need to start logging my intake on here again tho.. I will try harder next week (By next week I mean as of tomoro.. Day 1 of my new WW week) .. I promise :)

i know the feeling!!! i've just been paid and im ........... SKINT lol!!!! bloody apartment!!!! have got like £800 in my bank but CANNOT touch is because we need to save as much as possible!!!! humph!!! lol! so only way i know i will save it is to actually take the money out of my bank and leave the cash at home. Cannot trust myself when the money's in my bank! :( boo xxx
