Fresh start diary

Well a depressing weekend of antisocial late shifts ahead of me and I'm not particularly happy about it! I just dread lates, not finishing work til 10pm is rubbish! I'm sucks moaning Minnie today lol I apologise

Can't believe it's Monday already! This year is flying by and I'm determined to get to target in 2013- 4 stone to go!
I'm starting nights tonight so my diet will be a bit back to front this week. I'm just back from the gym and heading back to be so here's today's menu

Al bran choc crunch and skimmed milk (HEX A&B)

Lunch
Omelette and 3 turkey rashers

Tea
Crispy cod, chips and bag of microwave veg with 3 tablespoons of salsa (1syn)

Hello!

I've had a really bad sleep today as our neighbours are really noisy and spent a good few hours screaming at her children- not good! As a result I've got up earlier than I would like after a night shift :-( red bull here I come!

Today's menu
7pm Burgers, wedges and salsa with both healthy extras

2am- Pasta n sauce and a left over burger

4am- fruit salad

7am- alpen light x 2 before the gym

got my stone award last night...15lbs off in total for me so in 7 weeks..it's not bad going considering i've been eating good meals and not missing out (or feeling like i'm missing out) on anything major
long may it continue eh lol x

Hello!

Well today is weigh day and I lost 3.5lb taking me to 13st 7lb :) lowest I've been in a lot of years so I'm happy. Got a few things on next week as I'm on holiday from work and its Mother's Day so I'm aiming for a 1.5lb loss and will be happy with that.

Today's my last night and so my last dodgy timed eating plan

7pm - spicy Spanish chicken and rice

11pm - all bran choc crunch and milk

3am - pasta and sauce, 2 clementines

8am- omelette and bacon before bed

I'll complete the rest of Fridays menu after I wake up from a nap tomorro!

i'm rushing about like a headless chicken and have, so far, sorted out everyone else's dinner apart from my own.
i'm on green today and not sure what to have. was planning on having smash pizza but i'm not sure i can be bothered so will need to have a think about it....x
 
It was really nice! Found the recipe last night and omitted the sweet pepper paste so it was syn free. Very filling and had a nice kick to it.

Smash pizza is nice but a bit of a faf. I still use pitta as a healthy B (bad SW-er I know!) and use that as a pizza base

that sounds good...but as a quite a newby, i've never really considered using them cos they're not listed.
i ended up with 2 linda mc sausages, baked potato and beans which was quick, filling and free...
i was hungry all day yesterday, seemed to be picking at (free) things all day and nothing was filling me for long. funny thing is today, i've been the opposite??
strange how our bodies work sometimes eh!
i was a bit paranoid thinking oooh i've eaten more than i usually would but decided that if i was hungry then i was hungry and to not feel bad...its not like it was a boredom thing and i kept drinking to make sure it wasn't thirst.
glad its ok today though and hopefully come WI, my paranoia will have been for nothing ;) x
 
I think we all have days like that. I completely lost my appetite for a few days this week, but today I'm ravenous lol. My syns "renew" tomorrow and I need 30 for a night out tomorrow and 30 for a night out on Monday so I'm on a strict 6 a day for every other day. I'm going to make a low syn cake for a sweet hit, and make the potato and onion tortilla for snacking to kerb the hunger monster!
 
oh i keep looking at the potato and onion tortilla recipe...determined i'm going to make it but usually have no space to store anything more than my usual "work stuff" which i make on a monday to last the rest of the week. might do it over the weekend.
if you do it before, let me know how it is...it looks yummy and i was going to try just doing it in the oven rather than under the grill and see how it turns out x

So I finally finished the night shifts of hell yay! My my my were they grim but we managed to pull together and survive. I've got one more shift then 8 days off to chill and I can't wait!

7pm - cheese (HEX A) potato and onion pasty (HEXB) and chips and beans

1200 - 35 syns worth of wine!
 
Well I ended up having an off-plan weekend so aiming for a maintain this week! Got til Thursday to be a SW angel and get my halo on.
I'm off work this week, which is good from a relaxing point of view but dangerous from a SW perspective as I find the lack if structure makes me naughty!

Breakfast
None- and I went to the gym on an empty stomach! Bad bad bad

Lunch
SW tomato soup- tomatoes, carrot and celery in it with a sprinkling of cheese on top

Tea
Chicken katsu curry and rice, with broccoli (HEX B for breadcrumbs)

Not sure on syns I want to damage control so trying to stick to 7 each day so may have a timeout finger and a hot chocolate later
 
Hello there!

Well I've had a stressful, busy week or so and I'm financially broke so am missing official weigh in until after payday (28th). Staying on plan the best I can but if I'm honest I'm struggling at the moment. All I want to do is eat bad things- sweets, cake, chocolate. I'm trying to resist though, however hard it is. I seem to be hungry all the time which sucks!

So I've just done a 15hour shift and am back in work again at 6.45am :-( so tired! I've been busy at work and haven't eaten much really, and tomorrow isn't looking much better as I haven't had chance to buy anything- will have to nip to the supermarket after work and top up our supplies!

Hey diary,

Late shift today so got a nice little lie in and lots of dull but necessary housework done before work. Oh the excitement!! I'm on day 3 of being 100% and I'm really getting back into it. I've got a boozy night planned on Saturday but its a party so I can keep track of syns and will stick to vodka and diet lemonade. Am planning to save syns for it and so far ive saved 38 plus the 15 for that day so I'm happy :)

You do right, enjoy yourself! I think you need to relax and enjoy things sometimes regardless of our SW journey. Chow mein, oyster sauce and mushroom dishes are all low syn I think it's mainly the deep fried stuff in Chinese food that is bad
