Macaroni cheese, with bacon, mushrooms and onion & veg
Fry the onions, mushrooms and bacon then add some quark (as much or little as you like for the consistency (I like mine thick so put quite a bit in), add cheese (from HExA) and cook til melted into the sauce, then add your pasta and mix thoroughly. As i do EE, I add a bag of steam fresh veg to it too.
Arrabbiata Sauce
6 Spring Onions Chopped
2-3 garlic gloves peeled and crushed
1 red chilli, deseeded and chopped
1tsp crushed dried chillies
2tsp dried oregano
1 x 400g can of plum tomatoes or chopped (plum has nicer texture when cooked)
100ml of water
Season with Salt and Pepper
Place the spring onions, garlic, chillies, oregano tomatoes, water in and bring to boil. Lower heat and simmer for 15 mins.
Thats it and then if you want you can add cooked prawns, cooked chicken, cooked low syn sausages anything really or just pasta.
Garlic Mushrooms and Pasta
2 Cloves garlic finely chopped
1 punnet closed cup mushrooms chopped into quarters
1 tbsp Philadelphia Light (28g 2 syns)
I fried the garlic in frylight in a medium saucepan on low heat for about 5 minutes, constantly stirring. Then added in the mushrooms, spraying with more frylight and stirring until browned. I then took them off the heat and covered the pan with a lid and let them "sweat" for 5 minutes. Then added the Philadelphia Light and mixed it through the mushrooms until melted.
Plain tomato sauce with loads of garlic, onion, passata, herbs and a bit of sweetener cooked for ages (slowly) on the hob. It's lovely and can be jazzed up with bacon or tuna, or chilli - whatever you fancy.
carbonara with a couple of whisked egg yolks, parmesan and salt and pepper stirred through the hot pasta (the heat cooks the egg) and of course bolognaise with loads of veggies added.
