From here to Slimfinity!!! - Team 6

Morning all!!!

yep, rotten weather here too - but it IS Scotland, so dont really expect any different here. Its really grey, so dont hold out much hope that it will change...although im betting when i go to work tomorrow i see blue skies!!!

I had a bit of a boo hoo moment last night when i weighed myself and it appeared i had put ON 3lbs!!! Methinks its water retention from totm. 2lbs seems to have come off overnight....but that 1lb still niggling me!!!! grrrrrr

However, at the end of the day as someone pointed out, gotta look at the bigger picture...CD works! it may take me the best part of this year to get to my healthy weight, but its a million miles away from any other diet i tried!!! Went shopping yesterday to see if i could find nice linen trousers.... spotted lovely ones in Evans (force of habit shopping here!) I thought to myself, okay, they are elastic waist so i will go down a size... opted for the 16, only to find they were gaping at the waist! I wasnt sure if they did 14's in evans (as i was so used to buying 26/28's) but they did, and i was walking on air when i came out.....:D:D:D Thats the best feeling i have even had whilst clothes shopping as trying to look trendy in size 28 just didnt work for me, especially my 5ft 2 body!

I also bought my little girls some summer clothes and treated myself to a new bra! Ah, the things that amuse us huh???

Now off to my mums for our regular sunday lunch!!! While everyone else eats all the delights, i munch on my CD bar and a coffee :( But, its gotta be done.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

ciao for now

Hi Anni, Well done on being a size 14!!!! :party0049: It's a great feeling being able to wear clothes in smaller sizes again isn't it.

I live in Scotland too, l'm in Ayrshire (about 35 miles south west of Glasgow). Katy, another team 26 member is in Dumfries & Galloway.

Hi. A size 14 is my dream! It was just a fluke the trousers fitted. Im still a 16/18, so a way to go yet!

its brightened up here today, fingers crossed its the start of a good week.
Have a great night xxx

Good Morning everyone!

Weater here in London is day 2 of the rain. I so enjoyed last week's sun, I think I got spoilt.
On the cards for today = work :(
and buying a cross trainer :)

I am also ebaying all kinds of old stuff so I am looking to make £500 this month and have a clear out.

What is everyone up to?
xx

Hi Everybody,
Quizzicalgrrl said I would be welcome to join you?

I hope the space is still free!

I am now in week 11 of SS and have been 100% all the way...
have lost 37lb so far, including 4lb this week!!

It will be nice to meet you all

x

Welcome Tilly!!

:welcome: Hello Tilly!

Welcome to Team 26! You have been doing amazing and so proud of you for being 100% all this time. A -4 loss is completely awesome, are you chuffed?

Hi Tilly, :welcome2:to Team 26.
Very well done on staying 100% on SS - l'm sooooo impressed. You have done brilliantly. :happy096:

Hi all

Welcome Tilly!!!:):):)

I would be smiling extra well tonight if i manage a 4lb loss this week...off for my 20 week WI!!! But with totm, im just hoping theres a loss of any description.:(

Not much to report from here..... just picked kids up and about to settle them into pj's before WI, then after WI back home to get housework done.

A girl at work gave me 3 bags of her 'fat'clothes yesterday, mainly 16's, so they will come in handy! It was great to have hand down clothes which will see me through the next couple of months. Save me a fortune in 'inbetween' clothing. She herself had done brilliantly on WW and has gone from a size 18-20 down to a 10-12! :)

Hoping to have an easy week at work, working all weekend, but maybe next week have 'Date-night' out with hubby for a little SS+ treat!

hope everyone is enjoying any sunshine thats comes their way.

Hi everyone, thanks for the welcome, and yes I am chuffed. Had a couple of weeks of 2lb loss and it gets a bit tiresome!

Baby C you are doing fantastic!!
I wish I had a friedn who could pass on some 14's!! my 16's are getting a bit loose and I will soon have to hit the charity shops:)

I will try and get some time on here tonight to catch up with who is in the team!

Hi

i managed a measly little pound!:cry::cry::cry:

Im hoping it was all fluid retention and i get back to normal loss next week...bang goes the SS+ on Saturday with hubby now :(:(as i dont want to scupper the WI next Tuesday!!!!

Ho hum...a loss is a loss and in the grand scheme of things, its just a little blip and helping me along the road to success (or so i tell myself) Just had a choc/vanilla and crushed ice shake mmmmm

Now on to the housework! oh and have a look at the latest Avon book - for a little treat!

Tilly... i still havent read previous posts to catch up with the gang! Must do it though.

enjoy all

Anni

Good morning everyone, the scales sho a downward trend again this morning, which is nice as normally i don't see any change till the night before or the day of WI.

I have a prty to go to on the 10th July and whilst I will remain SS'ing, I really really want to be another stone lighter by then...

It's a great incentive!

Anyway, off to do the school run now, hope you all have a good day!

x

Good morning Quizz. Hope you and everyone else on the team has a good day. :)

weigh-in: 2lb loss for me this week (was really hoping it would be 3lb), l was a bit disappointed at first, l know l shouldn't have been as it's another 2lbs gone for good. My weight is now 160lbs, so at next weigh-in l should be in the 150s. :)
Anyway, l'm back to being in a positive & determined frame of mind - so onwards & upwards (or rather downwards - that's the only way those scales are heading LOL)
