I've lost half a kilo this week, I'm getting close to halfway there. But less than half the year to go.

Yay, I have a loss this week. I actually went to a social event last night where there was lots of junkfood and I only had one cracker with meat and cheese and 2 s'mores at the fire pit. And then something quite stressful happened but I still didn't come home and only had my planned snack. I am quite pleased. And instead of only maintaining my weight, I actually lost! So pretty excited. Of course, I put on 9 pounds due to stress eating last month, and I still have 4 more of those pounds to lose before I get back to the weight I maintained for the last two years, so it's the mental win I'm most proud of.

Im on the move again and have lost half a kilo. Without the stats at the side its annoying as i have to go into my profile to see what my last weight was. Im now 72.5kg. My goal for 9th Sept is 70kg. Will have to push hard to reach that. As i get smaller each half kilo is so much harder to lose.

Forgot to post last week so my weigh in for this week looks great -- 4.4 down. I've now lost 10 of my 40 and am 25% there. Woot woot.

However, my diet is no longer sustainable. I joined a gym and at first it was fine, but this past week I've been really dragging and I know it was because my calories were based on a sedentary lifestyle which was accurate. But I am LOVING the gym and go almost every day, even if just to leisurely walk on the treadmill (20 min mile @ 0 incline). So I am going to try the alternate day diet: 1600, 1200, 1600, 1200, etc.). Today was my first day (1200). I usually alternate strength training, (upper, lower, upper, lower), but I think I will start doing full body on the higher calorie days and rest on the lower calorie days and see how that goes. Hoping my energy levels come back up.

I disappeared and am back. Rebooted 6 weeks ago. Carnivore. Eating lamb, beef, fish and a little cheese and dairy as a condiment.
How are others doing?
 
In the past 30 days, I've shed 4.6lbs. That makes 2 stone and 2lbs off.

The past two weeks, I've been off piste. I can't do a little sweet stuff. It becomes compelling. Another 5lbs and I'll be in the 19s.
Not sure I'll manage that this year - but will have a go!
 
Down another1.8lbs in 9 days. 283.2lbs today.

21/12/2023 - 31.4lbs/2st14.3lbs/14.2kg down in 16 weeks and 5 days.

314.6lbs 22 stone 6.6lbs 26/8/23 > 31.4lbs - 20 stone 3.2lbs in 117 days.
