I promise I won't be nice!
But you're right - all you can do is carry on with the 100% eating, and wait for the timing to be on your side.
You also need to wait to be able to do more exercise: don't go risking anything by trying to do more than your body's ready for.
I know you like a challenge, Steve.
Maybe this time the challenge is to stay positive and stick with it when it doesn't come as easily as it always has.
Fair point Sensible Sarah (did I really type that!) - great news is after physio this morning, I was given the all-clear/green light to "step it up" and can even go walking, so long as it is on the flat, and no climbing/steep hills.
Had to do some stretching exercises including hanging my right foot ver the edge of a step and putting my entire body weight onto it - I did it without pain - She was impressed and said I was ready to go
That alone made me feel more positive about the next week.
I've done it for you Dawn!
But back to this blumin' phone discussion.
Why do you need an android or an iphone anyway? Why not just have a phone?
I used to think like this Bev - and I'm a gadget nut! - I held off for a long time - all my mates had them. Why do we need them? - well, as you say we don't. Neither do we need a camera, a satnav, gaming machines, or even the internet, but..... there is something comforting to know you have these. As Emma said, having it all and having it now is of maximum importance.
Remember I can receive (and have) important emails on top of Cairngorm Mountain in Scotland. How long might I have been expected to wait to get to a PC to receive said email?
I get text and internet alerts as a birdwatcher sent immediately so if I am in the field I can find them. If I got them later at home, the bird has gone. It may be technology for technology's sake to some, but by the same token, if the technology's there why not use it?
Remember not all websites are cut-down versions, - you can use the internet in the normal way. If the screen is too small on an iphone for instance, then you buy an ipad! (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)
Steve stay away from the samsung phones the slow and tend to crash A LOT!
Hmmm might be an interesting one that Emma as the Samsung Galaxy S2 is the main rival to the iphone at present and I'm about to jump!
By the way folks, regarding my well-being and morale. When I spit the dummy, it tends to be back in after a few minutes. I'm not as destructive as I once was, so I'm sure I'll be sticking to fit plan rather than chip pan
To prove this theory, I think today was another 100% - I say think as I never shopped until tonight so was scraping around for ideas.
