Thanks Ali!!! :8855:Eek, I know, I was a 38JJ!!! Now I'm a 30H- The cupsize hasn't changed a great deal but I must have lost all the surrounding fat coz they do look smaller (but still annoyingly heavy!!)X

Very voluptuous and sexy!

I think I might need to get myself measured properly ... I thought was down to a 38D from a 40DD but the cup is a bit tight and the back a bit slack ... Surely I can't be a 38 if I've lost a 22lbs??

The good bra stores nowadays don't measure you with a tape, but try lots of different styles and makes on you as they really do vary but you'll end up more or less finding the size you should be wearing!! If it's slack on your back you're DEFINITELY wearing too big a back size and sounds like you need a bigger cup size too! Get yourself to a really good bra specialist- do you have a Bravissimo store near you? Or are you likely to visit any of the places that have them? I can't praise them enough in there! The girls are really lovely and patient- they can't do enough to help and really don't make you feel self-conscious! OK guys 'n' gals!! So I've now reached my target of 10st 10lb which is what I started out to achieve from day 1! It has taken me 99 weeks and I'm really over the moon! However after giving it some thought, I've decided I would really like to take it down a bit more! I don't feel quite ready to maintain and would like to see how I get on trying to lose another 7lb to get down to 10st 3lb! I definitely feel there's still plenty of fat on me to get rid of, even though people tell me otherwise (they don't see me naked- well most of them don't anyway!!!) I also feel that for now at least, I need something else to focus on- if I try and lose a bit more and end up maintaining, at least I've succeeded in maintaining (if that makes sense!!!).

So here goes, I would like to lose 7lb and become 10st 3lb by Christmas (12 weeks!!)

Thank you Mel! :D Well I'm not sure about a piece of cake as the last 7lb took me 8 months to get rid of, but that was partly due to my lack of focus to do it, but at least I was maintaining what I'd lost up until then! So my thinking is if I aim to lose another 7, even if I end up dilly-dallying, at least I'm maintaining my original target! I think I have to have the thrill of the chase, which is a bit worrying as one day I'll HAVE to maintain whatever I end up as, but for now I'm happy to have something to focus on!! X
 
Eeeeekk!! My scales are telling me I'm 4lb up from Monday!! Something tells me the celebrations have gone a bit too far!! So time to pull back before WI Monday and then I'm going to crack on and start my journey to my new 7lb target!! It will mean writing my food diaries again- I thought I'd see how I got on without doing it this week but looks like I'm no good at it!! I think I'm someone who needs to do it to stay focused, or maybe I've just been doing it so long I'm lost without it!!
 
Hello, I like your thinking of setting the lower target and using that as a focus to slowly reduce/maintain. I plan to do the same. I have read a lot of posts that say maintaining is a real challenge. Xx

I'm absolutely positive you can do it, just slow and steady is all it will take. But get back to those diaries - like you I'm lost without them!

Hi Beverooni!! Yes I have weighed tonight and am ASHAMED to say I GAINED a whole 3.5lb!!! But it's OK- before you either slap my wrists :break_diet:eek:r offer me sympathy:bighug:it was totally and utterly expected!! I actively planned to celebrate and have a week off plan (incl not writing the aforementioned food diary!!) I am now completely in the right place again in my head and have been pulling it back since Friday so most of that damage is from the first half of the week!! It was quite a shocking display of gluttony :17729:!!! So I'm really looking forward to seeing a loss again next week and getting back into target range (I've gone 1/2 lb out of it!!) I think I needed the break after 6 losses in a row which was VERY good progress for me!!! I'm sure our challenge helped to keep me focused!! I'm next going to aim to get to the bottom of my target range (10 st 7) and will then re-evaluate what I want to be!! As I've already posted on the challenge thread and just about to visit your own diary, congrats on your loss!! And you must see it as a loss despite your theory on the matter!!!XXXXXXXXXXX
 
We must have been viewing and writing on this and the Challenge threads together!!!!

Celebratory gain absolutely ok - what else is a girl to do when she gets to target? So no sympathy or slapped wrist!

But get the diary back out and get cracking. You'll lose another 7 lbs in no time at all now!

Oooh Honey you say THE nicest things!!!:8855: If only I could see what you're saying and agree with you....but I can't say that I do :cry:!! I wish I had more confidence in myself- it's taken me AAAGGESS to pluck up the courage to post pics of myself here! I used to shy away from photos ALL the time, so it took ages to actually find any old 'before' ones of me!! Kind words indeed about the old bazukas, but they really were hideously large and I detested them so it's really very sweet of you to say something so positive!!
