FUNCURLS FOOD DIARY, BLOG and CHIT CHAT!! New target set!!

We must have been viewing and writing on this and the Challenge threads together!!!!

Celebratory gain absolutely ok - what else is a girl to do when she gets to target? So no sympathy or slapped wrist!

But get the diary back out and get cracking. You'll lose another 7 lbs in no time at all now!

Indeed it seems that our 20 fingers and thumbs were tapping away together in perfect harmony!! Thanks for the encouraging words!! I know I can do it when I put my mind to it (as can you!!!) So let's GO FOR IT!!! And by the way it IS possible to lose that 4 odd lbs in 2 weeks you know!!!X

Well it seems I was celebrating for you too funcurls - I gained 3 pounds this week :-(
Good luck this week. Will check out pics later xx

Your pickies!!! You look GORGEOUS!!!!

I didnt notice the penis in your hand either hahaha dirty minds!!

I think ur gain is not a bad one for a whole week off!! Im sure you'll have it off next week!!

loves ya!! xxx

Oooh Honey you say THE nicest things!!!:8855: If only I could see what you're saying and agree with you....but I can't say that I do !! I wish I had more confidence in myself- it's taken me AAAGGESS to pluck up the courage to post pics of myself here! I used to shy away from photos ALL the time, so it took ages to actually find any old 'before' ones of me!! Kind words indeed about the old bazukas, but they really were hideously large and I detested them so it's really very sweet of you to say something so positive!! Thanks again and I see you're having another excellent week!!!XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Awww Heather, we are our own worst critics aren't we? So many people, DH included, tell me I look good as I am but do I listen or believe them? NO! I'm not going to try and convince you of how lovely and cute you looked at your heavier size, besides that's all in the past now anyway. But life's too short to worry too much about what we don't/can't have. I wish I had bigger boobs, I'm dreading the time when I stop breastfeeding. My lovely lush boobies will probably deflate to the nothingness they once were lol. Enjoy your new slim self and try not to zone in on imperfections, I'll do the same!

Thanks so much Honey!! You're definitely talking sense, and it's true that we don't perceive ourselves as others do, and perhaps we should actually start believing what people tell us!! I'm up for joining you in not homing in on my imperfections!! There are many!! But I'm willing to look past them if you are lol!!XXXXXXXXX:wave_cry:

My mind is obviously not dirty enough, or I need to go to Specsavers again, as I still can't see it!

Snap!

That's exactly what I gained my first week after reaching Target, after celebrating that success and my birthday!

Like you Heather, I expected a gain, but I was a little shocked at how easily it goes back on, but on the other hand, a good kick up the bum, to stay on track!

Good luck for this week x

Thanks Ginlin!! How strange that it was exactly the same number!! ;)! It is indeed frightening to think how easily it can go on, and like you it has definitely given me a kick up the bottom!! I'm still going to class every week which does help me a lot and I'll be keeping a very close eye on things so I have all the best intentions in the world to keep it off, infact I've now set a new target for myself to lose another 7lb (below target weight, so that's 10.5lb from now !) Thanks for the support!!XXX

I know I've been away ages, but I'm dropping in to say ...

Thanks so much for the message and the MASSIVE Mexican wave!! Love the emoticons!!!!:8855: I was absolutely delighted as you can imagine, but as you'll see I had a period of naughtiness during the days following the good news, and am now paying the price!! But it's all good! I'm back doing my diary and looking forward to seeing those lbs off again then working towards my new target of a further 7lb I've set myself!! I don't mind if it takes some time but by Christmas would be delightful!!!

I'm sooooo glad to see you back Melissa!! I've missed you but somehow knew you'd be back as I know how much you want it!! I'm just going to pop over to your diary now to see what you've been up to!! HugsXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I'm also still going to class, with the exception of the last two weeks, because of unforseen circumstances, and this week as I was unwell, and will continue to do so, as I know that this is where it all went wrong years ago with WW:(

Well done on giving it a go to lose another half a stone, and if you can't, you know you have met your perfect weight:)

My psychology behind the setting another target is that I'll have something to focus on/work towards and even if I fail to get there and maintain my original target it's still all good!! I'm the weigh-in lady (if I can call myself that lol) in my group so the added accountability will also help keep me in line, infact doing so for the past 18 months or so has HUGELY kept me in line!XXX

I also set myself a little Target to keep focused, and that was to get my stone and half award, which would take me to the lowest weight I could be to stay at Target, which as you say, helps in staying focused and not becoming too relaxed.

The 'weighing' lady who is at Target in our group, always gets her mention first, so definately incentive to be good!;)

Hello fellow weighing lady, I do it too! I love it! :)
