Hi folks, well I've weighed! I gained 4.5 lb from last official WI! Considering the amount I've overindulged with the holiday and everything before and since it I think I've got off quite lightly!! And I was 10 lb up when I first got back so it isn't bad! It now feels acheivable to get back to target by Christmas!

Hev - it aint great, but it isnt terrible either - so well done for reducing the bloat down babe!

Clairey wow, well done on that 1/2 off!! Definitely take that and run, but perhaps just be really careful this week if you can as if you really expected a big gain it could catch up with you, but let's not think negatively about it- you have obviously done something right to get the loss!!

Pest and Elle thanks also- Yeh I know it's not ideal, but I'm alright with it in my head and know what I've got to do now! Just reign it in and stick to superfree!! I know it's against the rules of SW, but I'm going to be a bit more careful about the calorie content of foods! For example not having a Mugshot willynilly when some fruit and yogurt would suffice as a snack and be far less calorific/carby! Eggs are definitely going to play a big part in this week's food!!

You may be surprised at my lack of food diary keeping lately!! I've decided to try going without doing one because I don't want to become a slave to writing them! I want to learn to eat properly and stand on my own two feet without relying on them to keep me on track- a bit like riding a bike without stabilisers!!! If it doesn't work out and I struggle to get these few lbs off I'll resume the food diaries to see if they help!! That's my plan!!

I think your on the right lines
sometimes I think the rules of SW need to be tweaked somewhat
when you think about it a couple of muller lights and a mugshot a day have got to add about 500 to 600 calories a day so its probably wise to limit them

Ooh dear!! Blinkin Smart phones don't necessarily make us smart do they ?!! LOL! I'm always doing wierd and wonderful things with mine!! Yes it does make sense to be cautious and aware of the calorie content of certain foods! I think when you have loads of weight to lose you can get away with having Mugshots as snacks, Mullerlights 5 times a day and a whole pack of Pasta n Sauce with a whole load of other stuff thrown in and the weight comes off because it's still a vast improvement in calorific intake from pre SW!! But I've found that now I have little to lose I can't get away with eating like that- apart from the fact that they're full of additives, salt, and other not so good stuff! X
 
Yeah, I am honey, totally on plan now. The only blip could be a Chinese buffet on Sunday (our yearly visit to China Town with the boys for Christmas, to see the lights and go to Hamley's!) but if I avoid everything deep fried, I should be fine. All I can think of is that I did soooo well the week before, but by not going to WI, I will never know. Plus I think the batteries on my Wii Fit need changing (that's the only scales I have) Either way, I'm back on plan, and enjoying what I'm scoffing. I also have a clear diary, unlike last week!! Oh, and eggs are on my menu today too! Ha ha!!

And good luck with the non-diary thingy too! :)

Dai and I go to a restaurant that's on a few levels - it's one of the really old established ones in Gerrard St, but I can't remember the name of it which is no help whatsoever lol!! But we've been there a few times and seem to go back despite the huuuge selection!! Have fun! There are lots of good choices with Chinese so you don't have to do too much damage!! Keep up the eggs hun! They're so eggcellent on SW and really fill you up teehee!!X

I think I know which one you mean. We are a sucker for Chinese's! We used to go to one called Mr Wu (which was said in a terrible Chinese voice, Mr Wu, All You Eat!) but I had a whole clove of garlic there, which blew my head off so we go to a different one now, just in China Town off of Shaftsbury Avenue. Went to a different one in the summer, avoided anything deep fried and ate loads of veggies and lost that week, so fingers crossed I can do it again!

And a SW quiche has just been made for some really eggsellent lunches for the rest of the week! Ha ha!!

Hiya hun - sorry been frantic for the last 2 days sorting out washing from our mega leaky roof!

Night shifts again - pooh. Deffo not good for keeping on track. But you know how to do this Hevs and get the last of the holiday gain off.

Me? I'm so blumin' cold I keep heading for the fridge. Naughty Bev.

Anyway, off to bed now to try and get warm. Lecky blanket now invoked!

Haha thanks for the concern !! It's just been a bit manic and its frustrating using my HTC! Takes forever to update stats on challenge and I can't update my own data...which has all gone a bit pearshaped anyway, and I'm finding it hard to stay motivated! I thought id had a good week! Although not perfect I steered clear of all the Christmas goodies in work and had plenty of superfree through the week, was quite active and drank lots of water, yet my holiday weight has not only clung to me, but has been added to! Not happy! Hope you girlies have been having a good week! XxX
