Ah chica - we're all struggling at the mo.

I have fridge raiders mentality, especially when I'm up late - god knows how you cope on night shift. I can't seem to get back into the swing of it at all. So not surprising that I didn't lose. But others have also said that even though they've been 99% on plan they've gained or STS.

I really do think it is to do with the weather. Our bodies are hanging onto the calories to stop us shivering.

I'm thinking of calling an amnesty with myself until January to see if that stops me trying to eat for England in the wee small hours.

As I said, we're all struggling. I'm contemplating a lock on the fridge and then getting hubby to hide the key so I can't raid it in the wee small hours! :wave_cry:
 
Hi peeps and thanks for the concern!!!! I'm OK thanks! Surviving...that's positive isn't it lol!!! The poota's back in action so no excuse for me not to be here chatting and updating!! Still down in the dumps about my gain on Monday and probably because I've let it affect me in a negative way (silly billy!!!) it's infringed on my attitude this week! Dai came home with a Chinese takeaway last night as I'd been busy working and he knew I wouldn't be cooking! He bought my fave king prawn curry and you know what the Chinese curries are like...really oily!! But I love them so I gobbled it down no problem at all, but he'd also bought other things so all in all I had far too much food and far too many syns!! So we're nearly into the weekend and I weigh on Monday and have done nothing whatsoever to encourage any kind of a loss AGAIN on Monday! So this MUST change from NOW (did I omit to say that I had leftover Chinese for lunch today too?!!!! Whoops!) The 'getting the holiday weight off and getting back to target by Christmas' is looking like a total impossibility!!!!
 
Hevs - like I just said in PM, I'm struggling too. Bah Humbug.

Another challenge methinks in January!!! I suspect I'm going to need to lose about 10 lbs!
 
Hi troops, well I'm feelin a little happier now as I've lost 2 1/2 lbs this week! I was starting to feel that I was not just treading water, but the waves were going over my head, but I feel I've got back in control again! Back in target range today which feels great and now I'm raring to go to lose the remaining 3lb to get back to Target!! Christmas food? What Christmas food?!! No it's OK, I will allow myself some treats but there is no way I'm letting myself in for a big gain this year! XXX
 
Well done hunny that's a fantastic loss. Send some positive vibes to me please, not been great the last 3 weeks due to issue with my neck :(. Haven't made weigh in last 2 weeks but think maybe 2 gain?
Trying really hard each day, 3 great days then 2 slippery ones!! So annoyed with myself !!
Tomorrow will be a good day :) lol

That means you and I have both got 3 lbs to lose to get back to where we want to be.

Yes I know I got back to target again today but I need to lose another 3 to maintain my BMI now that I've shrunk.

Should make our challenge interesting!

Oh you poor chicken still suffering with your neck! Are you getting physio for it? Or osteopathy?

Hun this time of year is so hard for us, so don't be hard on yourself! 3 good days out of 5 still means you're being ultra good 60% of the time which is better than not doing it at all! January is going to be a fresh start for lot of us! Damage limitation over Christmas is the best any of us can do!

Hope your neck improves soon xxxx
