FUNCURLS FOOD DIARY, BLOG and CHIT CHAT!! New target set!!

Week 37- Day 3 (Thurs)- Extra Easy- Night shift 7.30pm-8am.

In work- 5am- Sweet & Sour Mugshot. Raspberry & cranberry Mullerlight.

At home- 9am- An apple.

On waking up- 2pm- Scrumptious strawberry Hifi bar (HEXb). A pink grapefruit.

Went back to bed for a couple of hours.

6.30pm- 3 egg omlette with 28g cheddar (HEXa) and herbs.

Work break- Jacket potato (done in oven at home) with syn free home made bolognese (see yest). Strawberries and red grapes. Strawberry Mullerlight.

Total syns- OMG, zero!!

Week 37- Day 4 (Fri)- Extra Easy- Day off (sleep day).

In work 5.30am- Creamy cheese Mugshot (2 syns).

At home- 9am- Some king prawns. 2 clementines. An orange/choc sprinkles Mullerlight.

On getting up- 3pm- 28g porridge (HEXb) with 100 ml semi skimmed milk (2.5 syns) and water. Sliced banana and a few strawberries.

6.30pm- Some slices of freshly roasted chicken (breast). A cherry Activia yogurt.

9pm- Buffet at church do (I was singing in the choir!) Couscous salad, pasta salad, cherry tomatoes, beetroot salad (allow 2 syns for any dressing/oil- minimal), king prawns (a little seafood sauce- 1 syn) Small sliver of stilton (part HEXa).

At pub 11pm ish- a small packet of dry roasted peanuts (8 syns!!!)

At home- 1am- Small tin of mushy peas

Total syns 15.5

Hey sweetie, how's things?
I sts this week.....damn exercise!! lol C thinks I'm not drinking enough as muscles take on water to heal themselves...it will balance out eventually :sigh:
So I'm not only going to the gym 3-4 times a week I've also got to drink enough to sink a battleship lol

Hey chicken, how are you hun? I get very frustrated when I do loads of exercise and don't reap the rewards on the scales!! It's a pity we get so hung up about what the scales say! I bet your clothes are feeling very roomy though!! And I often find that the following week you see it paying off, so don't lose heart! The main thing is that you're being healthy and treating your body the right way, and imagine how toned you'll be as well as slim if you keep it up!! Fabuloso!! I'm having a great week SW-wise!! Just hope it pays off at WI!! I did have a small packet of peanuts in the pub this evening (with my diet coke I might add) so that's 8 syns I could have done without, but what the hell! I fancied them and I didn't have any syns yesterday at all so there!! LOL! I can't WI at my normal class on Mon as it's my friend's Mum's funeral in Exeter in the daytime! I may pop to a local class in the evening if timing allows, if not I'll find another class in the week! Lotsaluv, HXX

Brekkie- 3 Quorn sausages, baked beans, 3-egg omlette with herbs and 28g cheddar (HEXa).
A vanilla/choc sprinkles Mullerlight.

Lunch in work- Strawberries, red and white grapes and banana with Total 0% natural yogurt.

Tea in work- Wholemeal pitta (HEXb) filled with chicken breast and salad- mixed leaves, sliced tomato, cucumber, basil leaves and 1 tbspn xl salad cream (1 syn). A summer fruits Alpen Light bar (3 syns). An apple.

At home- 9.30pm- A spicy curry flavour pot noodle in a mug (1.5 syns). A vanilla/choc sprinkles Mullerlight.

Total syns 5.5.

Thanks hun!! Glad your friend's sister's went well, as good as can be expected from such a tragic thing! I'm dreading it- she's asked me to read out some poems in the service, which I feel honoured to be able to do, although petrified at the same time! I'm worried I won't be able to hold it together!! Lots of love, Me X

Before work- 6.30am- 3 egg omlette with herbs and 28g cheddar (HEXa).

Work break 1- strawberries, red and white grapes and sliced peach with Total 0% natural yogurt.

Work break 2- Wholemeal pitta (HEXb) with chicken breast, mixed leaves, red pepper and 1 tbspn xl salad cream (1 syn). 1 Lily O'Brien chocolate (2.5 syns).

After work- 2 small baked sweet potatoes with Sainsburys 2% cottage cheese and 2 tbspns sweet chilli sauce (3 syns).

9pm- A thai Mugshot (0.5 syns). 4 seafood sticks. A peach.

Total syns 7.

Hope its all goes well, I'm sure you'll do your friend proud. It's a real honour thats she's chosen you to read the poem, even if you get emotional it's totally understandable just focus, slow down and take a deep breath.

Thanks sweetpea!! All OK- but I've come out in a spotty rash all over my neck, back, tummy!! Fearing it may be chicken pox!! If so, I won't be able to go to Exeter tomorrow for the funeral which would be a disaster!!! Feelin fine at the mo tho so will have to wait til the morning and see if it's any worse!! Hope you've had a great weekend EB!!XXXX
 
OMG Claire, what have we amounted to?! LOL!! Rash panic over! I'm suspecting an allergy to something! Maybe shower gel or something!! I'm fine today!! I got to Exeter, the funeral was extremely hard and emotional!! I broke down during the first poem I read!! Then they played George Michael's Jesus to a Child!! I was in floods!! Held it together in the second poem tho!! So sad, but she had a lovely send off! Thanks for asking!! AND I made it to SW class local to my parents!! Even roped my mum into coming with me and joining!!! I lost 1 lb! Disappointed as I gained 2 last week and I honestly feel I deserved to get that off and more this week!! But it is star week, so I'm thinking next week is gunna be good!! I know my pattern!! It never works logically for me!!! XXXX
 
Week 37- Day 7 (Mon)- Extra Easy- Day off.

Lunch- 1pm- Because I had a big breakfast and nervous about funeral wasn't very hungry- A nectarine and 2 satsumas. A sherbet lemon sweet (1.5 syns).

Early eve- 5.30- before WI- A banana and a satsuma.

After WI- 9pm- Turkey and veg stirfry (courgettes, mushrooms, carrot, peas, ginger, beansprouts) (in Frylight) with soy sauce. A nectarine.

11.30pm- Bowl of 28g porridge with water and sweetener. (HEXb).


Total syns 1.5.

good for you to lose a lb - and under the circumstances, i think its a great loss....xxx

I'd be happy with it IF I hadn't gained 2lb last week and if I hadn't been so completely 100% on it this week!! I feel I deserved more!! Oh well!! Next week I think it'll happen!! ( Positive thinkin!!!)XXX
