Gail's diary and thoughts on her SW journey

It's just being human Gail. Don't be scared and there's absolutely no need to be ashamed. Enjoy your weekend, you'll be fine, I know you will. You are one amazing lady, it's just a blip. xxx

Hi Gail, sorry only just caught up on your diary. WELL DONE on your great attitude towards your blip. You have a really good plan of action and I think you will be fine. Also can I say I really dont think it is a downward spiral At all, otherwise you wouldn't be worried about it would you!! Im glad today has been a better day for you, hope you're feeling better. Well done on your running! When are we going for a run then eh? Also hope u have fun tomorrow at your shopper thing. Tomorrow I'm hitting the big time... Primark! Lol. I'm getting a................... Gasp................

Bikini!!!

Thanks so much. Have had a reasonable day. Am not quite so confident this evening (my weak time - feeling a little bit 'munchie' but nothing worrying) but am going to go to bed soon and certainly not feeling like bingeing. So tomorrow is a new day and another day on track. In fact, tomorrow is also my 'fashion styling' day. So maybe I will come home with some new clothes ??? Glad I'm feeling a bit happier though, I can't imagine going shopping for clothes feeling negative about myself !!!

You are all so fantastic. So thanks again :)

Well done Gail xx

Here's to another good day tomorrow...have some fun and SPEND! SPEND! SPEND! lol xx

Have a great day Gail and put the blip behind you, where it belongs, and move on - just as you told me to do. We're all human, and that is a lot better than being 'perfect', trust me. Sometimes the mistakes are there for us to learn from, so take the lesson and keep on moving forward. Look how far you have come! It's a great achievement, be proud of it!

Woohoo! Hope they treat you like a rock star!
Have a lovely day, and I hope you are feeling positive... you're awesome! Xx

Woohoo!! Take some pics in the changing room mirror! Xx

Well it was good and bad !

Good because I tried some different styles and good because I have an idea what size I am - bottom somewhere around size 15, top around 16-17 !

Bad because everything has short sleeves (which I just can't wear without a cardigan or longer sleeved top) or cutoff sleeves/no sleeves which I can't wear at all.

Feet are a size 4.5 and everything comes in a 4 or a 5.

So I didn't buy anything at all :(

But I did enjoy it and the woman said (in a nice way), come back when you've lost a little bit more weight ! She was very encouraging though.

All the trousers that I tried were waaaaaay too long. And all the crossover tops that I tried were just literally rude with my bra on show. Hmmmmmm. Now that I can shop in normal shops, maybe I just won't fit anything !

Oh no!!! Gutted you didn't find anything!

But I tried some stuff that I wouldn't have tried before and more importantly some sizes that I would never have picked up. I was at John Lewis but I don't know whether it's worth trying Debenhams as well.

Food for thought !

You'll find something Gail :) Did you watch biggest loser last night? They were all wandering round the clothes shops wondering what to do. I must admit that I dont have any issues with clothes shopping and I will happilly make over the person that I am with. Have you got a good friend that you can go shopping with? The only way to do it is try on as much as possible, even things that you wouldnt dream of picking up normally.

Have a go at Debenhams - you have nothing to lose (except a wad of cash :p)
