First weigh in tomorrow morning since i started this last Thursday night. I know up to this morning it was 3.6lb loss but I'm really hoping I can get 0.4lb overnight. I've done a good lot of exercise this week too. I've definitely been less hungry & had more energy so that is great!
 
I listened to the CD again last night as we are going away for the weekend. We have been having a new kitchen fitted this week so we've been staying in a hotel and eating out a lot and everything has been all over the place. My body is NOT happy with me! So I listened again last night and this morning I had to go to the gym and there was nothing here for breakfast apart from a bar of chocolate. I stopped off at a shop on the way to pick some stuff up and I couldn't even look at the chocolate as it was making me feel sick so I know the adjustment worked! I feel so much better now that I know the control is back :D

I have just started reading the 'I can make u thin' book it hasn't told me to listen to cd yet so will hopefully start that this week x
Did everyone see changes using this book?
Or was it just the gastric band?

I'm desperate for this method to work x

I never read it but the principles are the same. Concentrate on what you are eating & recognise your body telling you it's full.... Good luck x
 
Hi Lexie and taz, Thanks for your replies x So do you think the rules stick in your mind? Do you actually know when your full?

If I concentrate on my food when I'm eating then yes but some days (last 2 days at work were hardest) if I don't I am not realising when I'm full. I am definitely eating much smaller portions though x

I don't know what hungry or full is? So I have to think so hard when I'm eating x but day 1 went well x
 
Hi Lozzie - i'm using the I Can Make You Thin App and its definatlely been working for me - i've now lost almost 3 and a half stone in total :) and am eating exactly what I want. I've had a few weeks where I've stayed the same recently (don't think I was actually eating enough as I just wasn't hungry - once I ate abit more I started loosing again) but generally I've been so happy with the results that I haven't felt the need to try the Gastric Band even though my husband bought it for me!

Do you still eat naughty things? Like if you had lunch would you allow your self a chocolate bar?
Do you weigh regularly?
I'm only 3/4 way thru the book should I listen to the cd already x

Listen to the CD when it says you should. If it's like the HGB one you can't listen to the CD til you've finished the book. I eat whatever I like but sometimes I will have to make a choice knowing I don't have a lot of 'room' for everything and usually end up opting for something more nutritious. You will soon find out what your body wants

I don't really know much about the first book as I never did that one but with the HGB my tastes have changed a little and I make very different choices now
 
Hi lozzie - yes, I still eat naughty things when I fancy them (I've eaten a yorkie bar and a packet of crisps this evening because I really wanted them and I've done a fair bit of exercise (for me anyway!) today. My meals however are generally very healthy, and even though Mr McKenna probably wouldn't approve I often eat what I want and then calorie count it all just to see just how many calories I've had - sometimes I eat hardly anything quantity wise and other times I eat alot, but it aways seems to be between 1100 -1400 calories (1292 today including chocolate and crisps), kind of feels like thats what my body knows it needs at the moment and it automatically eats that amount! I was trying to just weigh myself once a week but since I got my new scales which weigh in quarter lbs I seem to have gotten back into the habit of weighing everyday. I can't really comment on if you should listen to the CD yet sorry - I haven't got the book, I just downloaded the App (where you can listen to the Trance straight away) and have just been using that, but if you feel your ready to listen to the CD I would go ahead :)
