Yes you will probably struggle doing low carb being a veggie. Actually I probably will money wise coz meat is expensive. I used to do green days quite a lot when I did SW. I think I can smell better than normal, when I open my sons choc/treat box the sugary smell hits me. Funnily enough my sweet cravings seem to have disappeared completely on this diet.
 
Day 23


All ok yesterday although I did eat a bit of cheese and 3 boiled eggs at lunchtime. Not really bothered as long as the stuff I eat keeps me in ketosis. This diet is hard enough without beating yourself up about the odd egg here and there, it's better than eating a box of Jaffa cakes or something like that! Did a mid week weigh and am down 2lb at the moment, hope I get a good loss this week as am away next weekend and am planning to have a meal each evening.

All going 100% so not much to write. How boring? ha ha. Really determined this week. I WILL be in the 12s by Monday!

Well, moving on from 100% and having a pants day i ended up in the Harvester tonight but practised quite good damage limitation me thinks! Had garlic butter chicken breast with chips and no peas and then gave Jacob all my chips and then went to the salad bar and only had the low carb stuff. The only thing I had which may be trouble is a bit of blue cheese dressing but I couldn't resist x

Good luck for your weigh in. You never know! My weigh in is tomorrow and I was hoping to be in the 12s too but even though I was exactly 13st midweek I don't think I will now because I'd put 2lb on when I weighed myself this morning after 2 indulgent days!

WI day!

I am 13 stone 0 pounds and 0 ounces so have lost 4 lbs! I know I wanted to get in the 12s but let's face it I can't get any closer lol. Pleased with that as I have been out for a meal and had a few eggs and some cheese.
This week is tricky as off to Newquay on Friday and come back Tuesday and although I don't want to go totally mental I am planning to have a meal every evening and if i really want anything else I am going to have it and get back on track next week. Am going to try to be 100% until Thursday xx

Just going to note this to myself as because I know I will go off plan at the weekend my inner demons are trying to talk me into going off plan now for a whole week . However if I can do tues, wed, thurs on it I am well aware that I will do less damage fri, sat , sun, mon to my weight loss.
 
I eat a meal most nights and still lose 3lb so you should be fine if you choose wisely! You made the right choices this weekend, so you know you can do it again. Its the alcohol thats the killer. Saying that I've still managed some red wine a few times and been fine, just avoid it whilst in ketosis as its not pleasant, and thats coming from someone that learnt the hard way!! x
 
I've already decided that I'm not going to drink but will try to keep myself in ketosis if I possibly can. Like you, if I've had any food I've chosen wisely and not had carbs so far. Could eat everything in sight today but know I will be really disappointed in myself if I do. Might cook a hard boiled egg ...
 
Last few days I have had a few low carb meals as suddenly thought that my body might struggle if I suddenly eat more at the weekend. Still in ketosis and am weighing in the 12s today yay!
Found a delicious salad dressing yesterday in sainsbury s which is blue cheese and cider and only 0.42g carbs per serving.

Hi all,

Had a lovely weekend away in Newquay - didn't stick to the plan but didn't go totally mental and stuff myself silly either so fresh start again tomorrow. Should have weighed in this morning but didn't have any scales so will weigh tomorrow morning and get back on it whatever the number says.
