Thanks all! :D

Good luck for your run tomorrow Russiandoll! A bit of cold wet weather will help.. better than boiling hot weather!:p
Slow and steady remember.. ;)

sorry I missed the roll call at the start of the week guys!!

Morning all!

Scales moved down a lb this morning.. so am pleased.. it's going in the right direction again. :)

what are you all up to?

Hubby has had a long lie, but gonna have to go get him up, as have to go to the horse yard soon. :)

Other than that, have washing and ironing... (boring stuff) to do today.

Have had a lot of probs with fostering teen, adn she is due to move out Tuesday. She's sulking at her mum's at the moment so not sure if she'll show today or not.. it's making things very awkward (tension) when she's around.

Hi everyone
Just a quickie as I'm about to start packing for my holiday to Holland tomorrow.

I've done my run - hated every minute (and walked a lot of it!) but I DID it and have put a few photos in my photobox (link below).

My daughter and niece got their well deserved medals - especially my niece who didn't really want to do it because she's self-conscious about her weight: she was the main reason I did the darned thing!
I was a bit miffed that my sister and B-I-L didn't even turn up to cheer her on :(

Anyway, now that I'm suitably aching, I can get packing. I'll stop in and say cheerio before I go.

Oh Debbie, how wonderful. All I can say is that I'm proud that you are a WeMitt too!!!!!
You have done so well - you enjoy your holiday now, you deserve it.
I'm going to Amsterdam in a couple of weeks time, so if you find any nice places to visit, let me know.

WELL DONE DEBBIE!

BTW you look fab!! you've lost loads since Birmingham.

Have a wonderful time in Holland....shame we couldn't get there with you but ....we're booking for next year! Booked to go to Alton Towers & Cadburyland (using voucher Andy got for his 40th! 6 years ago)!! (checked out Disneyland Paris but it was so expensive)! staying overnight and hope to pop by and see Debba in Derbyshire while we're up that way. Kids don't know yet!!

Off out for Olllie 14th birthday meal tonight.

Ann...welcome home!

Debbie Congratulations! you did it!! And what a great memory moment for your niece too! and shame on your sister and BIL!!!
Make sure you frame a pic for your niece, she can be proud of it! :D in years to come. Isn't it funny about weight hang ups, at an early age.. when you are worried about it but it's never really that bad!! Honestly.. she's lovely! :D

YOU have done SO well, I haven't seen a before pic of you before, but it's truly amazing! My aunt has always been the size of your 'before' shots, and I could never imagine her shedding the weight - well done to you for changing your life! :D :D

Have a lovely time in Holland! ;)

Kam - hope you have a lovely meal - and a great couple of daytrips coming up! I'd be off the wagon in Cadburyworld! lol

We're off to gullivers land at the end of the week, and Erin is going on a trip with the 'kids who care group' (run by social workers for foster carers birth children) they are going to the Celtic camp near us (archery, treasure hunt, art n' craft etc) looks fab! :D

Well back from our meal out and well. Was very good and stuck to a few pieces of chicken tikka, salad & mushrooms but have to confess I couldn't resist the freebie tia maria coffee....slapping wrists right now! But not feeling guilty...I'm not ssing yet and I didn't pig out like I used to. I've finally learnt to stop eating when I feel full not when my plate is empty! Poor Ollie....they got him a birthday cake and everyone in the restaurant sang him happy birthday...oh did he blush!!!

Debbie...hope your all packed...dead jealous of your trip to Holland I want to go too! Booked Cadburyland....lucky though as I'm not a chocolate fan! I do have a sweet tooth but I'm more of a dessert fan or boiled sweets...no more though :(....why can't CD bring out a sweet we can suck?!

PH...never been to Gullivers Land let me know what its like quite fancy that one. How are you? I've been thinking about you since Thursday.

Everyone else....hope your all ok. Off to slob out in front of the telly and watch Afterlife.

Hi Ann,
Thanks for that...looks like we won't come up as far as Derbyshire as my mate Debba won't be around that weekend so we can't pop in and see her and her family :(. Gutted as miss her loads. Will have to wait until March to see her when we're due our annual girlie weekend away!!!
Hope your well Mrs Mother CDC Wemitt!
Love Kam xx

I'm fine Kam. For some reason, I've had a serious visit from the hungry monsters this evening. I just couldn't stop eating, when I wasn't eating, I was thinking about what I could eat next. I'm sure we all know the feeling. So I've had fruit, walnuts, a cambridge bar and a GI bread ham sandwich since having dinner at 7pm. Oh well, these things happen - I just wish I knew WHY they happen - haven't figured it out up to now, but I'm going to.

PS
There's another Gulliver's Kingdom in Milton Keynes, I think.

Morning all!
Well been up since what seemed like the middle of the night! Ollie woke me up as he was so excited about his birthday! Ahh bless 14 and still so excited.....like his Mum! I do love a birthday! Anyway, after spending ages wrapping his presnts they are all open! We got him a new bike...was he happy or what! and all the extras...helmet, lock, lights etc...Plus a few little presents from the dog! Toby & Sophie.
Now I feel like going back to bed but looks like we're off out on a family bike ride! haven't ridden mine in over a year but I'm 4 stone lighter so hoping it'll be alot easier.
Apart from that we haven't planned much as we're away towards the end of the week. But thinking about going to Hell Fire Caves as Ollie really wants to...Welcome to the Hellfire Caves, West Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England have a look. We took 30 Cubs there last halloween OMG it was so scary! The lights kept going out! I got lost and could sense something there! it was a werewolf! as I found out when the lights went back on! Great laugh though.
Off to walk the dog!
Have a lovely Sunday Wemitts.
Kam xx

lol we are looking at going there with a friend on halloween! :p Taking her 2 kids, and ours :)
Is it baby friendly (i.e. prams) or am i better leaving them with someone?

Hiya,
Its not really very pram friendly I'd leave any under 4's at home....its scary!!! the ground is made up of lots loose stones and there are stairs and very narrow alleys in the caves. Its fab though and well worth going. Halloween is very busy apparently, we went on the Sunday before which was the first day of their Halloween Special week....it really was good fun!
The staff were amazing! even made all the Cubs a hot choc with whipped cream and marshmellows on! Nightmare asking for 38 hot chocs!!(of course the leaders & partent helpers had one too)!
Have PM'd you.
Kam x

Hmm... might give it a miss then, had a look at the site, and think Erin would enjoy the family times but not the fright night that my friend was on about going to.

Maybe we'll go together as a family rather than with friends.

We did the caves at wookey hole (on the way back from Cornwall) last year and that was fab :)

Have just pm'd you back ;)

Erin definately isn't ready for spooky night time then! me... i'd love it! lol
