Today is my down day :) daily weigh in shows I'm 11st11lbs so thats good. I've decided to take my little one out of nursery and to put him in a new one soon as we can. Basically, my son has sensory issues, speech delay, and either a development delay or autism so been attending a nursery which is an early intervention nursery as he obviously as some needs. Long story short, they're now telling me its all in my head and the doctor who told me he had these issues was wrong. He has been to a normal nursery a few times this term and they agreed with me and to get a second opinion, well the doctor called me the other night and agreed it sounded like autism & sensory issues, told this to the early intervention nursery and what they do? Ring the hospital and tell them I'm wrong and my son is fine! Also questioned his inhaler as I was told he needs it 4 times a day even if no cough, but then they got told I'm right on that ;) Yesterday I went and spent some time with friends who have kids same age as my little one, and one of the things one of them asked me was if he had autism as her brother does and they act nearly the same! So if people I haven't seen for ages can see it, I can see it, the first doctor can see it (shes now retired) and the other nursery, then why can't this EIN see it? Infact he used to attend the EIN for 3 full days a week, its now gone down to 3 mornings 9-11:30 as they couldn't handle him. So, I might not be online as frequently trying to sort this out. Due to their behavior yesterday (ringing the new doctor, telling her my son is fine, nothing wrong with him, questioning the asthma even though it was one of his teachers who picked it up etc..) hes not returning today. They're meant to be meeting the other nursery on Monday to discuss transitions & my son is meant to be there most the day, if the EIN finally wake up I'm just going to tell them its too little too late.

xxxxxxx

Well to be honest the day they told me they couldn't handle him and to cut his hours from all day to just 2 & a half I wasn't happy, but when the boyfriend disagrees you just see if it gets any better. They refuse to give him dinner as hes a fussy eater, hence why I have to pick him up at 11:30. Infact yesterday when the deputy asked me who diagnosed my son with sensory issues etc.. she asked who was the doctor, I told her the name and she goes "Well shes not qualified to give that diagnosis, shes not a paediatricion!" really sarky - this woman was in her job for 30 years and diagnosed a lot of children! She was also a school governor and it was her who told us about the EI and rung them up with us sitting there! I feel like they're failing him, big time. All the other children in his class are either mute or very calm, my sons not either, hes a fidget from the minute hes awake to the minute he goes to bed, he can talk but not well and a lot of it is repeated. I know of another parent whos complaining about the school so its not just me whos not happy.

On a positive note I'm hopefully getting my hair sorted today :p

Hello hun, not good with the skool situation :( Hope it all gets sorted soon, i had similiar issues with my sons nursery and im forever arguing with his school lol
Have a lovely day and woohoo to the hair :D xx

Well just got back from having my hair done, I'm very nearly all blonde :D Just a few more highlights to go! Turns out my hairdresser is on JUDDD as well! She was talking to the other hairdresser about being hungry where she goes "Hmm its a down day though so slim fast for me!" twas odd as I didn't think this diet was that known.

Well the boyfriend has now spoken to the EIN - hes got a meeting with the head on Tuesday I'm refusing to go as I'm fed up but they have agreed that taking him out would be the best thing as my boyfriend wants to take the little one out of both nurserys and start fresh with a new one and say "This is our child, he has a speech delay" & leave it at that. The EIN seem to think that the other nursery wants to be known as an autistic friendly nursery and use our little one as a guinea pig, which my boyfriend agrees. (Even though our son got a diagnosis of sensory problems) We rung a new nursery this morning and they're calling us back next week to discuss when our little one can start, def September though :) HECTIC!

Sorry to hear of your School problems hun hope you get it sorted soon, hair sounds lovely x Hope the rest of your day goes well x

Hope you get it sorted hun! yay to the new hair :)

Have a lovely weekend xx

Well last night went a bit wrong, we had to rush round to boyfriends parents as his mum was thought to have an asthma attack and no one was there apart from his younger brother who wanted to go out. So of course my down day ended up as an up.. never mind as I'll just have my down day today. Daily weigh in shows at 11st13lbs but I'm sure it will go, also I'm due on so I might not even weigh in on Tuesday. Been lacking on the water recently so target for today is to make sure I have 3L of water. Hope everyone has a good day xxx

Oh dear, don't worry these things happen and the good thing about Juddd is that a good DD can sort out any blips, hope your weekend gets better hun x

Hope you're ok and that everything is ok!

Personal situations come first so don't worry about anything :)

Well I'm back :) A lot went on with the nurserys arguing so now my little one is staying at the EIN for the next year :) Think they finally realized my son does need the extra help after seeing him at the other nursery! They're pushing for him to attend a sleep clinic, hes going to have rebound therapy & speech and language throughout the week, they will then take him on "day release" to a different nursery and will continue to do so until hes ready for school, even then the EIN have said he can do 3/4 days at reception and 1/2 days with them. They called the other nursery to say hes not going back lol, funny to be honest but its what we want. They feel he doesn't have autism or a sensory problem but its more ADHD. They are also going to push for a statement for him, which before they weren't going to do. They've said the other nursery was definitely trying to use my son in some way, they think for funding as every second word was funding and their first word being autism. They had people in to observe my son and even they agreed that my son was "interesting" lol. Next week is a trial for everyone as the EIN wants my little one in all week, mornings at first but will increase as the weeks go on so he'll do first week all mornings, then next week one full day, all mornings and so on.

Everything was okay with the boyfriends mum, she got diagnosed with chronic asthma on Monday, but she won't help herself so nothing anyone can do to help her.

I ended up losing the 3lbs I gained :D So back to being 11st10lbs, happy! Did new calculations as I'll be doing the shred a lot, and its 2127calories for an up day and 532 for a down day. Is that right? I thought you had to do less than 500 on a down day?

Morning hun, glad everythings worked out for you and well done on the loss :)

Hmmm if thats what the calculator says with exercise then im sure its fine, ive seen a few on here who dont stay under 500 cals on there down days and still do ok.

Have a lovely day xxx
