I know I always say it but you don't look like you've put weight on! Well done on a great day 1, I really enjoyed our walk and big thanks for the motivational talk. Btw I think Marco had the best time playing and getting treats from little C - he'll def be wanting to visit your house again :D xx

Day 2

Said I wasn't going to weigh but I did. 1/4 off :)

Very grey skies n dull today. Have 2 options: tidy away camping gear and sort garage or do some form exercise. Need to get out on my bike really cos Triathlon not long off.

I'll have a coffee n watch the commonwealth games to help me decide :)

U cd nail a triathlon no problem. No doubt about it.

I couldn't swim very well so had some lessons (still rotten at it) and had to buy a bike n learn that too. Knew I could do the run bit. It's different and in some ways was a welcome break from running :) there's lots of 'fun' triathlons where people get to try a Tri. Def consider it! X
 
No didn't pedal. Headache n lack of energy and motivation. Feeling sorry for myself! X

Oh blast. Just read your post on Cate's diary. I think that@s a sensible decisions considering the up coming weeks TH. Hopefully it may also recharge your batteries xx
 
Right... Where do I start?

Not sure where to begin.

As you know:

I have gained 1st 3lb ish since end June. I've been on/off exante since then.

I quite like exercise and the buzz u get but haven't been doing much of it cos of lack of carbs. Got Tri on 10th aug.

My OH works away and is home from roughly 15th - 30th aug. He doesn't see me as fat. When home he likes to eat all the food that he misses like Indians and steaks and fish n chips etc.

I have a few eating events in aug: 10th triathlon and after celebration, 12th birthday, 15th OH home, 3 nights in hotel in Wales with OH, unsure if date, 21st wedding anniversary, 22-25th family get together for long weekend (bank holiday) probs at my house. We get on really well but are spread out all over UK n hardly see each other. Then there's the MILs birthday 6 Aug and I usually take her out for meal n make fuss cos OH not here. Friends birthday 20 Aug...

The thought of all these events have been filling me with dread. VLCD and get good loss, then boing back up scales with 4lb gain overnight etc.

Just haven't felt the love for VLCD because I also get headaches. I had headache today. Day 2 :-/ I know that I have few more days of that plus lacking energy n motivation.

So, after reading Cates diary and then Wee buns diary and having discussions with the lovely Katie, I have decided to give Judd a try for a week to see how I feel. Im not particularly bothered about a big loss, I'm bothered about feeling good and getting some training done. Think this might be the only way for now to achieve the feeling good, training not not gaining 1st 3lb over a month. It makes me wonder what weight I'd be if I had done Judd?

Anyway, I'm going to give it a try. Fingers crossed that it will work. I'll weigh next Tuesday morning. I will keep this diary going because I will return to exante and use products on fast days, but I will mention food, so unsubscribe if that would upset or unsettle you.

Sorry to be a pain n unfaithful to exante!

Sounds good TH - that's what I did when I started training. I never even thought about warning people to unsubscribe.. Oh no! Was I insensitive?
 
It makes perfect sense TH. I'm sure you will settle into JUDDD like a duck to water.

You made me laugh you naughty person you. ( unfaithful ??-I don't think so ).

And a very good decision it is too, well we did put a hell of a lot of thought into it, exercised our minds rather than our bodies (best gym session I've ever had!)

Seriously though with the month that you have coming up (you social butterfly) it really is the wisest choice and it will definitely be better for you for your triathlon training xx

Phew! I was worried then I'd broken some cardinal rule or etiquette and people were thinking, "who does she think she is? Flouting the exante rules and eating... *gasp* whatever she wants from time to time"

You don't need to apologise for your decision. The only person you need to be faithful to is yourself. Good luck with JUDDDing. I hope it suits you as well as it's suiting me. :bighug:
 
So here's a positive already.

Friend phoned. Fancy having dinner sometime this week? Me: Yep, sounds great. Thursday ok for you? Instead of errrrrrrr... I'm pretty booked up this week. Maybe we could have a coffee and ill drink black coffee nor sparkling water and salivate over your choices. Thursday will be an up day and I can have something!

The other thing is... I've been mulling over what to have. Think in going to have whatever be it diet this n that, low fat, wheaty, gluteny, carby etc then change wee bits as I go along. Don't want to change too much too soon. Just see how I feel.

So don't be shocked if I'm not eating nuts n seeds is what in trying to say! X
