Getting back in zone, to loose for good!!

Nikki you should bring out a SW meal guide, your meals always look so interesting. I always ate the same things on SW, my downfall I am sure. I got bored of the limitations.

Hello Kez, thanks for popping in honey.. I know with any diets that I get bored, so have to make them feel interesting. I'm getting a bit p'd off with the 2lb loss each week, was really hoping for an average 3lb loss so that I didn't need to do CD again last 2 weeks in July, as I just love food, lol.. Did a stir fry pork thingy last night, with noodles, kind of like a chow mein, then added a tbsp of l/f peanut butter with hot water mixed in and some chilli flakes and that was soo yummy :).. See what I mean with food?? So going back to CD, I'd be a nightmare..

Will come on over to see your diary in a sec too. Thanks again for the support hun xx

Hi guys
Hope your arm is ok, EF. Had weigh in yesterday (usually Monday but it was bank hol here). Put on half a pound. Not totally surprised but group was really helpful and I'm determined to lose it and more by next week. Only prob is I'm away to Belfast from Thur to Sun and won't have any control over what's cooked - must remember I do have control over what goes into my gob! Rx

Hello Rainbow.. That half a pound could have come off already this morn, mostly water retention. Good luck while you are away hun.

Today is drizzling here again and am more and more tempted to follow Red/Green days again. EE is def slowing my losses. So will defo do that from next Tues onwards after WI.

Out to Romford today with my sister, I'm enjoying the peace and quiet while Ian isn't here and the kids are being good too. Funny that, his oldest isn't when he is around (18) and now he is fine..

Food for today - 10 syns EE

Bfast - Mlight Yogurt, Banana and Pear
Lunch - Jacket and beans
Snacks- Strawberries
Dinner - Pork (f), Noodles (f), mushrooms(sf), , baby corn(sf), and carrotts(sf), spring onions(sf), 1tbsp l/fat Peanut Butter (4)

Thanks for that, hun.

I'm in Belfast and the hotel is lovely. Had dinner in the hotel yesterday which was great and breakfast was absolutely fine; had fresh berries with yogurt and poached egg with slice of toast (1HE). Conference starts this morning and I'm not sure how it is catered but will find out at lunch! Was at same Conference in the south of Ireland three years ago and it was 'clog your arteries' food produced to feed big numbers.

However, hope springs eternal.....:)

Hotel has a leisure centre but conference session doesn't finish today until 7.30pm. so might not be in any fit state for 'leisure'!!:4635:
Hope you have a great day. Rx

I went and done my back in this morn, getting washing out of machine with one hand, must have twisted somehow.. so pain killers later, not too bad and still venturing out for lunch with my friend. My son has just hoovered downstairs, for me, bless him.. his GF is also coming over for the day, so he's cleaned his room too.. Don't usually like leaving them in the house on their own, so have said that someone is calling here today with my online shopping from Tesco and he'll need to bring it in and unpack if for me. Should do the trick, lol.

Well, went to pub for lunch and had steak salad, which was nice and not croutons, so no need to count those now. Plus it helped me to errrr.. go! lol.. TMI :8855:I know, but was gettin a bit bunged up from these pain killers.

Tesco delivered and it was exciting, how sad is that.., not had shopping delivered like that before, so all unpacked and ready for the weekend :). Foprgot the ginger to cook curry, but hey ho!!

Good morning.

Sunday - its dry here and a little sunny :), always makes you feel better doesn't it.

Oh dear - now for the bad news - I had a chineese take away last night, it was only me and my son in and he fancied it.. so I ordered it and ate it, not all mind! But a good 25 syns of it. Now I have had 6-8 syns a day during the week since my WI on Monday eve, and am in the thought mode that if I count that as 8 syns carried over, then use yest as a flexi syn day - 15 syns, and borrow 5 from today and tomorrow to make up for it? That makes 33 syns really, but I'm leaving it as that even though I didn't have that much. Do you think thats ok? It was narf nice :)

Food for today on EE
B-fast - berries (sf) and yogurt
snack -apple (sf)and pear(sf)
Lunch - Pasta n sauce (free) (using HEA)
snack apple (sf)and pear(sf) stawberries (sf)
Dinner - Chicken, potatoes, peas, cabbage(sf) and carrotts(sf)
Gravy - 2 syns
Stuffing - 3 syns
Afters - Fruit pack(sf) and 2 alpen light bars (HEB)

Total 5 syns

Need to go for a walk today so hoping the weather stays dry :)

WI day tomorrow and hoping for 2lb loss, not sure it will be.. with the chineese on Sat night, but went walking to compensate yest, only did 2.7 KM, but it was better then nothing right?

Need to walk into town today, which is about 2 miles there and back, will track with my Pedometer how many steps that is and km's.. and am staying on just 5 syns today and that will be my Shapers Choc Mint Nugart bar (4.5).

Food for today, not very adventerous and need to up the 1/3 sf foods with my meals too, so that will have to be in fruit form as don't have that many veg in..

EE day - 5 syns

B-fast - Vanilla Yogurt and pear(sf)
snack - apple(sf)
Lunch - Pasta n sauce cheese and Brocoli (1) (HEA) and half cucumber(sf)

Hi there

Pinkies crossed for good new with your weigh in tomorrow :cross:.
That curry sounds nice -I may have to pinch that to do for hubby  he loves lots of heat n spice -since I starte SW I seem to be developing quite a thing for chillis too-I never used to like them
There is a cracking chinese not far from here (although I think we have only ever had about 6 takeaways in 3 years:p) -but do you find that you get really thirsty when you have had one? I drink loads of water anyway -but I think it must be the MSG they put in it that makes me sooooo thirsty as I don't get it when I make my own :D
keep up the good work -you are doing great , especially with a damaged arm and back:clap:
Hope you have a good week

Thanks Capricorn, it does make a difference with the curry, that Coconut Essence, have posted it on the recipe thread. Only off of Ebay and you can use it in almost anything and its free :). You might have to pay a little extra postage, but get a few and they'll last ages.

The arm isn't so bad today, achey and really needs putting in a cast to start the healing as the lump thats sticking out, I'm sure that's the fracture and need to wait ti 21st to see Fracture Clinic on NHS. Hey ho..

I do get thristy on chineese take away, usually get a pint of water down me.. flushes it through (TMI) lol. :8855:

Have a good one Capricorn x
