Good morning.. its a alovely warm day today here in Essex, and the wind is really needed after a really clammy night.

Food for today:

EE 10 syns

Brekkie - Blackberries (sf) and yogurt
snack - banana (sf)
Lunch - Tuna (f) and Boiled Egg (f) Salad (sf)
Snack - apple and pear. Skinny Iced Latte (HEA)
Dinner - Egg Fried Rice (peas, spring onions and sweetcorn (sf)), Chinese Pork (f) and stir fry veggies with noodles. Made with 1/2 Tbsp l/fat peanut butter (2 1/2).
Desert - strawberries. Curly Wurly (6)

Total - 8.5 syns today - will carry over the 1.5 for tomorrow

8222 steps walked

Your menu looks really good hun, you have such a varied diet and loads of SF foods. Am sure you will have that extra stone off that you want before you go on holiday. :)

Keep at it hun things are looking bright ;) and things will get smaller :) Hope you enjoy the run up to the holiday and that you really enjoy the holiday.
 
Thanks Rosie.. I can't wait for the holiday and have ordered some Avon Pamper creams to get my body bikini ready, lol.. although it'll still look wobbly :8855:. Its a a step in the right direction.

Going to keep up my walking and my challenge of walking 7000 steps 3 times a week, might progress to 4 times a week now. 8222 steps yest and will aim for the same today, as need to walk the same route to Post Office to get my Tax Disc today..

Today's food:

Red Day - 10 syns

  • Brekkie - Blackberries, Muller light Yogurt, pear and apple
  • Snack - Iced Latte,(HEA) made with 350ml skimmed milk, coffee and sweetner (very filling)
  • Lunch - Tesco H/E w/meal roll with lots of ham and salad (cucumber, tomatoe and lettuce) with 1tsp of mustard (1/2 syn)
  • Snack - Pear and apple
  • Iced Latte (HEA) - (as above)
  • Dinner - Steak, chicken, and 227g skin on sw wedges (HEB)
  • Desert - Strawberries,apple and pear
  • Shapers mint choc nogurt bar (4.5)
That totals 5 syns, but saving 5 today (and 1.5 from yest) and tomorrow for a chinese on Saturday eve :).

I think I might have to "borrow" your iced latte idea... now its hot Im not getting through my 250ml semi skimmed -so I may have to "splash out" 1 syn on 2tsp camp coffee mmmmmmm -my dad used to make me these when I was a kid :D -i know I could use other coffee for free but I have camp in too so I may as well use that ;)(I prefer it too)
Not long until your holiday now ... oohhh I bet you are ready -and I bet you will lose those lbs you want in plenty of time :D

sounds all good eternal hun - the avon stuff is usually good I did look at it in the last magazine I had but figured since I'm not going to be getting away on holiday it's not important at the moment.

I may try the iced latte at some point too - although it's not so warm here today, so i've just been having coffee's.

Am sure that if you keep going the way you are you will have a great weight loss next week.

Im doing some work from home today and the iced latte went down well, around 12 as started to gt hungry, so just takes the edge off, lol. I put some coconut essence in with the ice too and that was really nice. Might try the chco flavour later to make an iced mocca.

The avon creams, been meaning to get those for a while, but now as the hols are getting closer, decided to get them, will start with those tonight ;) and let you know in a few weeks how they are going.

Oooooh How do you make Iced lattie, sounds lush, also been reading some of your threads, can you tell me what CD means, as I don't get it.
Your menu's look fab gives me ideas like to vary my days other wise i will get bored!!

Iced Latte is made with 350ml skimmed milk (HEA), 1.5 tsp coffee granules, 1.5 tsp sweetner and a handful of ice. Blend all together and Bob's your uncle, Fanny's your aunt..:8855:. It really is nice and filling too.

CD is Cambridge Diet, basically shakes and bars diet, it works out 450 cals a day diet and its really hard. But once you get passed the first 4 days of it, your body starts to go into Ketosis, which is fat burning mode and you loose quickly the first week, some ppl 10-14lb in their first week. I lost 8-10lb when I first do it. But its a temp diet as it's not good to do it long term re health wise. I have about a week and a half of the shakes left and will use them in emergency's lol. Might need to do that 2 weeks before my hols.

I try to varie foods, recipes as I get bored and have now found the plan that works best for me.. which is 4 days Red and 2 days EE after WI, making the day before WI always a Red Day. Quicker losses.

Its an EE day today, no walking as my leg (old injury) was killing me last night, so will leave that for today. But have done over 1500 steps in the last 2 days, and will do more on Saturday and Monday.

EE - 16.5 syns (6.5 carried over from Wed and Thurs)

  • B-fast - Strawberries (sf), blueberries(sf), muller light yogurt (f)
  • 11's - Iced Latte, apple and pear
  • Lunch - Pasta and sauce 1/2 syn, mixed with chopped chicken and mushrooms and also cucumber on side.
  • Snack-apple(sf), and pear(sf), pineapple (sf)
  • Dinner - Seafood Pasta, with chilli, onion(sf), chopped tomatoes(sf), passatta(sf), , peppers(sf), , mushrooms(sf), and corgette(sf), and lemon juice (sf). Mixed seafood (f) and tagitelle(f) Grated 42g r/f chedder (HEB)
  • Desert - ww yogurt (f), melon (sf), Shapers mint choc bar (4.5 syns)
That totals 5 syns today, carry over 11.5syns for tomorrow's chinese.

Thanks hun, trying my best so don't need to use my shakes, but.. it might be the case 2 weeks before I go. Only 35 days to go! And really need to loose a further stone by then.. so we shall see, but have them stocked at the ready just in case.

You are doing really well too on CD, you' ve lost a lot so far in the last week and a bit :) xx

Hope you have a good weekend. Looks like things are going well so far - the menu looks great. Rest up on the leg injury - you don't want to aggrevate it so much that you can't do much with it so don't worry too much about your steps for this week.

  • Brekkie - Mixed fruit cocktail and m/light yogurt
  • Snack - apple and Pear, Alpen Bar Light (1/2 HEB)
  • Lunch - Tesco H/e Roll - with lots of ham and salad and 1tsp mustard (1/2 syn) apple and pear
  • Iced Latte (HEA)
  • Dinner - Syngapore chow mein - 9 syns, drizzle of sweet and sour sauce - 2.5 syns and 1/4 portion of shredded chilli beef - 7 syns - 19.5 syns total for meal
  • 2 litres of water and 3 cans of diet coke
  • Strawberries and Alpen Bar Light(1/2 HEB)
20 syns used, carry over 2.5 to tomorrow's BBQ
