Getting back to target... somehow!!!

and the poor table's!
To be honest, I lost 71K between 2002 and 2003 doing "my own thing" so perhaps I'll do that again! (if only...)

and the poor table's!

If only I could simply return to doing "my own thing", as I lost 73.5K doing that so perhaps I'll do that again! (if only it were that simple...).

I'd need surgery before hand... (two hands firmly stapled behind my back... or jaw wiring... or ...)

How about doing the WW filling & healthy ? You don't have to count the points then except for your extra points. That's if it's still the same system these days

It's funny how the "old" programmes have changed and (dare I say it?) "dukanified" themselves! Recommending higher protein than before, crabsticks for snacks, my sister gave me a couple of recipes which were reworked Dukan ones! SW in my day was baked beans and jacket potatoes! I guess they've learned! As for WW, it was "buy our ready made meals, fill up on zero point stuff, and spend your points on cr*p!". haaaaa! Unfair of me perhaps!!

sounds like you've done a brilliant diets in a nutshell explaination xxx

Hi Couteaux what ever you decide don't disappear from here its good to have you back even if its only to prop me up! LOL My friend had a stab at Dukan last year and couldn't get her head around it. She is now doing the new Atkins which has been given to her by the hospital. She does have a lot to lose but is managing to stick to it and is losing quite well. Another one to investigate. I'm feeling the same as you really but I think I need a Psychiatrist!
Oh & you would have looked gorgeous in your dress and heels :)

Hope your okay lovely - being a bit quiet???? Missing you lovely - hope your head is in the right place and on some sort of plan even if it is your own one!!!! Many, many roads to Rome isn't there? xxxx

Hello all you lovely ladies! Thanks so much for the words of encouragement xx I have been reading and kept going to reply, but my rascals were keeping me occupied - littlest having a snooze so grabbing my chance!! :)

I have decided to go low carb for now, not really following a specific plan, a bit of a mix of some i have tried before. Prob bordering on SW red days but not using syns unless its a special occasion. Low carb, low(ish) fat, no fruit at the mo. I think I need to keep my veggies up, so will have them most days but thinking about trying one pp per week.

I am back up to 13.9 from 13.5 - that is just from last week!! Ouch, I enjoyed half term lol ;) oh well, back on it now so onwards and downwards.

Back to work Tomorrow and already feeling a bit 'meh' about it all. Oh well, lovely day with my little one at playgroup, dashing off to swimming with my older 2 after school so no chance to be hungry!

Food today:

Breakfast - none, no time, had a skinny late, prob way too much milk!!!

Lunch - omelet and salad

Dinner - rump steak with stir fried veggies

Take care all!! Xxx

Yesterday went well and today all good for food except for being totally manic!! I just had time to eat 1 chicken breast all day!!

Dinner now cooking - pork steaks with roast vegetables, I have a meeting at school so will eat when I get back * rumble rumble*

Hope all ok with you lovely lot! Xx

Oh sounding very very positive C and very close to being Dukan PV perfect soooooooo well done darling!!! Keep going and hope your day tomorrow is not too manic! x

Thanks lovely Trudy!

I am v close to dukan (hoorah!!) but allowing myself a little glug of olive oil seems to be good for my motivation'. Lol I just feel a bit more relaxed at the moment which feels nice.

I have my friends birthday on Friday (wine and low carb food) and my daughters birthday this weekend and a house full of guests and all the food that goes with it. I am feeling in 2 minds, I want to stick to food as much as poss, but know wine on Friday will be consumed. I will just get back on 100% and make sure my food Is on plan.

Breakfast. - omelet
Lunch - tuna salad (if I get it!!)
Dinner - turkey stew

Have a great day all! X

Lovin the menu today C, reading your post about a party weekend - why not try a little more damage limitation - can you drink a spirit and diet mixer instead - really does make a difference than all that wine???? Just a thought - also with the food - don't throw caution to the wind - aim for the high protein offerings and avoid those silly ones that really are not worth it but seem so irresistible!!!!! Eat before the party too so you are not hungry so even if you have the wine you will not be tempted by the food - just a thought lovely lady!!!! You are doing sooooo well which is awesome to read! xxx

Wise words Trudy! I am already planing to be good with my food and think you are right re the booze. It would be more sensible to be on a spirit and mixer. Lets see how that pans out... Lol. :)

Couteaux, I think this second half of term is going to be more than usually manic - everything crammed into 4 1/2 weeks. Carry on with the very good eating and just try to focus on the company not the food this w/e! x

Thanks Sara. I think the food should be fine (hoping!) it's the vino that will be more tricky. I plan to make plenty of low carb snacks on fri. My friend also low carb so all good there. The Meal on sun isn't too hard as I will just be busy looking after everyone. Must try and include plenty of fizzy water!!

Hope you are ok there xx

Weighed in this morning and have FINALLY got lower than 13.5 (13.3.8) I have been seeing that number for the last month! I hope 12's aren't too far away. Extra incentive to be sensible this weekend! :)

C, that is great news and definitely incentive for the weekend!!!! You will have a blast if you manage to stick to some food rules even if the drinking goes awry!!!! WELL DONE lovely lady - sooooo happy for you as I know how much that plateau has been bugging you!!! xxxx
