Getting back to target... somehow!!!

Oooh I hope so, Sara!!

Food so far -

Breakfast 2 chicken legs

Lunch - Tuna salad with artichokes and cherry toms, 1 drumstick and 1 thigh (cluck, cluck!)

Dinner - I am out with a friend (forgot about this!) we are going to a Turkish place so plenty of meat and salad stuff. Don't think I will be.drinking as he's driving so should be fine :)

Oh never had turkish food - enjoy your evening - diet menu is looking cracking C!!! xxxxx

I love Turkish food xxx

It was gooooood!!!

I was glad my friend opted for this place as I have been a few times and loved it! I could have been naughty (divine meze plates with dips and deep fried delights!) but I opted for king prawns to Start and a mixed grill with just salad (no rice or bread). It was scrummy!!!

We did share a bottle of wine, but pre diet, I could easily sip that while cooking dinner, so I consider it a good result :D

So tomorrow should do fine, I'm going to get some nice meaty bits and have it all ready so we are not tempted by anything off plan :)

One down.... 2 to go! ;) xox

Well done you! It's very empowering to have succeeded a potentially tricky menu choice and your resistance muscle is building in strength as we speak!
Why is it we find weekends more difficult... Are we bored? Nah!

Thanks Jo, I did feel v good after dinner and not at all deprived as the food was so so delicious.

Re weekends, personally, I think it is having more time and more potential opportunities to have treats! It is my normal time for making nice meals, baking etc and entertaining.

During the week everything is so rushed, more time = wanting more food here!! :)

OH sounds lovely and Dukan friendly - well maybe not the wine but as you said would have consumed a lot more pre diet!!! LOL! x

Everything sounds fab with you Amy, never been to a turkish restaurant food sounds fab ........have a good weekend partying x

Come on C - spill the beans - hope you had a lovely time!!! xxx

Hey all, party was lovely thank you! I had some off plan treats, but not silly amounts. son came down with sick bug first thing yesterday morning and I have been feeling awful too, queasy, cold and v tired!

I didn't eat a thing yesterday (making up for the excess on Sunday I expect!)

I want to be eating low carb, but so drained and toast is the only appealing option and I don't even really want that!

will post when I am feeling more human xx

U poor thing - look after yourself and if toast is all you can stomach then so be it - you need to feel better to diet properly and if toast is all you are eating I don't think you can do too much damage..... Take care of yourself lovely and let us know how you go! xxxxxx

Get well soon xxx

Hope your feeling better today C xxxxxx

Thanks all xx just about coming out of it now. Yuk!

I haven't been on plan at all! But have hardly eaten, so hopefully not too bad damage, but what I have had has been carby, but it had to just be quick and dry! Still not really feeling my best so will just see how the next few days go and get back on it as soon as I can face proper food/cooking!

I have been going to bed at 7 all week as so shattered and tonight I have to create a costume for my son for world book day.... tomorrow!!! OM flipping G!!!

Will be doing cat in the hat, black clothes, pinning white to a black top, drawing on a ribbon and making the hat. Wish me luck, I am pretty rubbish at this stuff even when feeling great hahahah ;)

Hope you are all ok, will have a proper read through later xox

Glad you're on the mend. Yes, dry toast is the best bet after a stomach bug.

What a coincidence! My 6-year-old's class is putting on a puppet show of Cat in the Hat today. She has to dress up for World Book Day tomorrow too, but luckily she's happy just to wear her dalmatian outfit. Good luck, rather you than me! x

world book day ..............loved seeing my friends little ones dressed up xxx glad your feeling better Cx

How you doing C? All better now I hope........ xxx
