Getting my act together.

You're telling me hun I waited too long too. Still we're doing it now and there's going to be social events to trip us up we just get better at dealing with them :) xx
 
it's a nightmare eating out and socialising! I don't think I could of picked a worst time either, being in uni..too much alcohol and lazy food flying around the place! just gotta have a different mind set about food though :) at the end of the day, as long as you reach your goal it doesn't matter how long it takes you, still need some fun! I'm not gonna let dieting get in the way of special occasions and what not, if it takes me an extra week to reach the goal. so be it, just living your life!
 
Tomorrow I have a date!!! It's only date no 3 even though it has been 2 months. He works away and is home tonight. Feeling super nervous which is a good sign yes!!!! It's the first time I have dated since my ex left, and we where together for 20 years! So I am mega rusty. Mind we have been exchanging flirty text messages while he has been away. Just have the normal big girl body issues!
I have chosen to go to a Portuguese restaurant. They do amazing meat kebabs with peppers and onions, going to have with salad, should be enough then for a bottle of red x
 
Oooh exciting! You do know now you've told us this that you will have to give us updates on the new man and any developments? When I met my fella I had recently lost 2st with ww and was feeling good about myself but wasn't prepared for the feeling I got when he came to pick me up. I remember the excitement well so I'll be thinking of you tomorrow :-D I hope you have a fab evening and keep telling yourself how fabulous you are. If he didn't like what he saw he wouldn't be taking you on a third date xx
 
It's all new and rather exciting, he is lovely, I love the fact we talk about anything and everything for hours, there is no awkwardness it's great.
So I have had my hair cut and styled. I have some new shoes, and lots of pro points to use tonight.

Dinner eating out but have 41pp plus 49 weeklies I have looked at their menu online, there are plenty of options that seem they could be low in points, I will use my weeklies for a bottle of wine x

I had a wonderful evening. He was truly a gentleman. Nice funny witty conversation, just the right amount of things in common but a few differences to keep it interesting.
We are meeting this afternoon, he said he has a surprise planned. He then offered to cook dinner this evening . So I mentioned weight watchers. He was sweet said he thought I was beautiful but was glad I told him so he would cook something healthy.
So other than having why the hell does he like me thoughts I am super happy!!! X
 
Don't make me shout at you. So you're carrying more weight than you'd like, he likes you and wouldn't be making such an effort if he didn't so stop thinking that way (easier said than done I know) I love hearing all the gossip keep it coming :) xx

Well today was weigh in and I am 2 lb down!!! I am so pleased with that, I have hit my weekly points almost daily a cheeky 3 over one day and I have used every single weekly!!! Was hoping for a sts but did the weight loss dance instead!!!!
 
Woot woot well done you! Maybe all the nerves and excitement from the dating has burned some points off?

What was the surprise he arranged or shouldn't I ask? ;) xx
 
No ask away! I had the most amazing time. He took me sailing!!! We drove to Cardiff bay he picked up a friends boat. We then went to penarth and had lunch. We then went around flat holm island. It was amazing. Something I would never ever do. We then went back to his house where he cooked fantastic food. It was great, an amazing day, amazing company. X he is home for four weeks then away for four each time. So we have made lots of plans for the next few weeks. X
 
Hi Bea. Congrats on the weight loss!! Keep it going. Seeing the results really makes a big difference in self motivation for me. P.S. So glad you have someone making you feel special, because you are.
 
Wow! What a romantic guy. He can't be welsh lol was his friends boat in the bay that huge one everyone was going to see? Turned up the same time as Obama? Haha

Ha no it was a extremely small boat, very very small. It was extremely busy down the bay, there was a four hour Que. to get on that massive ship! And it took forever to get out of the car park when coming home, I have never seen Cardiff bay so busy!!
He is welsh, from Llandrindod Wells x but so close to the boarder and has lived in Hereford for years x x x
 
Sounds like a really lovely day. I've stayed clear of Cardiff for the last few weeks. Nice and peaceful in Bridgend with no summits happening here. You're doing so well with all these days out and still losing weight xx
