Gill SW diary -green days

Thanks Tace. Will try more if I get a loss this week. Just conscious of the carb content in beans, peas, and lentils
A lot of the beans and lentils are S or SS foods so speed up weight loss, they're good for protein and if you have them with veg you won't be having that many carbs :)

Thanks Tace.

todays plan - Tuesday

B - LM sausages with beans/passatta

snack - protein bar HEB, berries and ff (having late lunch today)

L - salad (getting salad bar from morrisons but will stick mainly to the true salad stuff, may add a few beans and bit of pasta but will allocate my syns to that just incase because of the sauce) will add feta HEA and cottage cheese.

D - may have a few veggies later, eating a lot of Mediterranean veg this week as on offer in morrisons ;) maybe another 1/2 of protein bar HEB

Edited as lunch didn't go to plan so having

L - veg with tomato purée and spices

D - Mediterranean veg, bns, feta HEA

family over for dinner so also going to make a mushy pea curry with quorn so going to have a bit with my veggies

syns will be used on options hot choc (2)

Going to weigh Friday morning this week as my new batteries for scales haven't yet arrived. Hoping they come tomorrow.
Fingers crossed they will arrive and bring with them good news :)

Yes Lentils are a speed food (according to my book which is from last year). Baked beans and mushy peas are super speed foods too ;)
This is still the case, lentils are a speed food that's why I use them a lot and they're quick to cook :)

Thanks Kirsty, you too :)

im off food shopping shortly. Going to try a few new quorn things if anything is on offer. Also need to get some snack food to take to work with me as I'm going back next week! Any ideas for green days snacks gratefully received ;)

Don't think my stomach is too keen on baked beans, had approx half a tin last night in the cottage cheese and bean cake but my stomach was really sore and bloated. May stick to mushy peas as my super speed food.

Thursday

no sign of the battery yet! Hope it comes for tomorrow, keen to know if I've lost this week!

B - berries, apple/cinnamon cake (2), ff

L - mushy pea curry, quorn burgers (1), 2x scan bran and 1x laughing cow extra light (3)

D - think I'm going to do LM sausage and veg bake with cheese on top HEA

snacks - usual hot chocs (4) , protein bars HEB x2 (these really satisfy any sweet cravings plus fill me up if I'm a bit peckish)

going to try and find some nice strawberries today too. I don't really eat much fruit apart from frozen berries but be handy to have something I can snack on at work.

Love grapes but they have made me feel strange in the past (sugar dip) coz I think I ate a few too many but can't bear to eat them now incase they send my sugar strange again. I'm not diabetic but have some problems with low blood pressure and blood sugar but I can manage it better now. Always try to have a bit of protein with everything which seems to work ;)
