Stay there for a while then get dinner nearby and can find somewhere else for drinks or alternatively head to the bar in Jurys. Which might be a bit appealing for those of you who've travelled a distance, least youre close to your beds :giggle:

A definite advantage in it being this weekend is my shift are late shift. Usually when we're late shift its gorgeous weather cos we're at work 1400 til 2300 Had it been my weekend, it wouid have poured lol

Have had 'requests' for somewhere traditionally Scottish lol A friend from work has suggested bar+brodies or Scottish Dining at Arisaig Restaurant, Glasgow Arisaig sounds fantastic but may be a bit pricey. I have to admit I quite fancy it though, if not this weekend, then its definitely on my list. The food sounds fab!

Fee is on duty both days when we're out and about so Ive got her on standby for ideas etc. Shes also said shed love to come and say hello lol And after all, no visit to Glasgow is complete without a run in with the polis
