Just managed to read the rest of this post over SW sausages, scrambled eggs and beans . Def gonna try sw kebab! Well done on your amazing losses and look forward to more posts! I've started a food diary myself yesterday so may begin a food diary on here soon

Can someone please clear something up for me? Do you HAVE to use all you syns and both HE's everyday? I try to keep my syns to minimum and try to not use 1 HE if I can but I'm not sure I'm doing the right thing? I feel like I'm cheating when I use syns! I also exercise a lot so I guess I gain extra syns? Please help clarify x

You should use between 5 and 15 syns a day, a lot of people find that if they try to skimp on them that they actually don't loose as much weight! Try and aim for half way, around 10. You can also 'flexi-syn' 7x15=105 syns over a course of a week so if you keep them low you can afford a bit of a splurge for when you need them such as going out, a few drinks or even a take-away :) Syn are there so we don't feel deprived! And you should make full use of them! That's why we succeed! :)

You should be having ALL of your HE's. They are there to supplement your diet to make sure you are getting what you need in terms of calcium and fibre. Make sure you fit them both in! The Light Benefit Bars from Aldi are great, you get 2 of them as a HEB and if you can only manage the 1 of them then that 1 counts as a 'Speed' food :)

It's a big birthday for my OH and we had our 30th wedding anniversary last year so it's a treat holiday. Carribean cruise, first time to that part of the world for us. Really looking forward to it

Oh wow! You lucky thing! Once our mortgage is paid of we want to travel lots more! A Caribbean Cruise is right up there with the Maldives and Thailand for me! Always wanted to go to Jamaica and Antigua especially! A couple of good weeks between now and then you might just manage another stone loss! :D

hi, thought id pop by and have a look at your diary, looks like your doing well. are you doing eesp is that why you have two hexb's?

Thanks...yes, I'm trying to get a few days a week in at the moment to just see if I can shift a few extra lbs :)

PS If you like, once you get enough posts I can PM you and help with up to date SW stuff :)

that would be great thank you.

Thank you for that, I've tried to use more syns today but only managed 5 and I've done a high intensity cardio class so I'm guessing those syns have been burnt off?? I really need to get to grips with this x

Well Gemsta we fly into Jamaica but are only there about 5 hours, will have a stop in Antigua though. I think a stone might be ambitious but aiming for as much as possible before I go and determined to keep to the SW idea on the cruise though my alcohol consumption will definitely increase from the current zero total.
Elkie, I struggle to use SYns but increased them last weekend and lost 5lbs so I think it worked for me

Elkiw, I struggled to get my head around using my syns to start with, but after a while you feel you need then more I think. They are important though...fats and fibre stop you getting constipated!!! If you're not wanting to use them on chocolate etc, spend some on dried fruit or olive oil etc to make you feel like you're still being healthy! Xx

Thank you for the advice, going to try my best on getting some more in today! It's weigh in day too so nill by mouth (excuse the expression I'm a nurse) after lunch x

Ok so I was naughty yesterday!...Not in food terms but I took a sneaky peek on the scales and was fairly happy with what it said. Been back on this morning and there's virtually no difference to last weeks! :( I know I don't weigh in until tomorrow officially it's just got me all grumpy now..lol..Think * week is about to make an appearance too.

It's getting so hard now to get these losses. I was going to have another EESP day today, but now I'm thinking I might just stick 2 fingers up at it and have a EE....sod trying to be 'good' ie EESP.

Thanks TDQ.... I know I shouldn't do it...lol.. I think I might get Ray to put them in the car until Thursday night from now on then I can't get on them...lol.. I'm gonna have a EE day today, can't face another SP day for nothing..lol...
