Not sure about 14lbs but 10 should be achievable in 2 weeks if your glycogen stores are filled, be wary about overdoing the exercise as it could push you the other way into starvation, 20/30 minutes brisk walk should be enough. Good luck xxx

Hows it going? Just catching up on here after a bit of a manic spell of life...
Ok - 14lbs here you come....I remember you giving me a great motivating quote a few months back - I think it was from your Nan about aiming for the stars and if you end up on the moon the view would still be amazing (sorry if I've got it wrong!?). But I think that this is a case in point - you go for those 14lbs girl!
When I am going for a mega push these are a few things I try....shame I dont keep them up all the time!!!
- PMA - get into the zone with that positive mental attitude - I know you have it!
- Keep hydrated - can you manage about 3-4ltrs of water a day? Can you also try drinking quite a bit of green tea or white tea or oolong tea...can help with the losses (i think).
- Can you sprinkle a tiny bit of Cayenne pepper into your soups if you have them or even warm water - chilli ups the metabolism.
- Can you make sure that things are progressing nicely in the bathroom department, preventative action so things dont get sluggish (psyllium or linseed every day).
- I personally wouldn't do any major exercise - I think it can slow things down when you are on so few cals. If you are gonna do power plate stuff - how about doing the plank with your hands on the plate? There are also some quite gentle pilates moves that really do work the old abs...
Bars - I personally avoid the exante ones when I want quick results as they seem to slow me down and opt for something like BL bars instead (but thats just me).

14lbs in 14 days is optimistic Toots so dont be too disappointed if you dont quite make it.
My advice would be to stay off the scales for the entire time. That way if they dont say what you want them to you wont lose heart.
Thanks ladies, the trouble is I struggle with time on Atkins forum these days, life takes up a lot of time (cooking especially) on Exante I had loads of time, no cooking, not too much exercise, you know how it is lol. I do try and pop in from time to time but if you want to ask anything specific just track my diary down in Atkins and ask away xx
