Been having an alright week but I'm peed off with myself. I was trying to have a week of back to basics. Making sure I weigh and measure everything, have my syns daily rather than weekly. But I've managed to go back to weekly syns instead of doing them by day. This is deff a challenge for next week (after Thursday). I think being in charge of my syns a bit more will deff help me get back to losing more than a 1lb a week. Plus I think the dreaded having to drop syns will be round the corner too.

Back to my kettlebells and have finished week 1, in the middle of week 2 now. Marked up on my calendar what days I am going to do my KB so it finished before my holiday (36 days!) and if I can stick to that I'll be really proud of myself! I'll be taking measurements at the end of week 3 (half way through) and then again at week 6. Forgot to take before pictures but they won't be any different to my end pictures at round 1 of kettlebells.

Officially a size 14 now, which is a great achievement. And at the very least, want to be a size 12 for the wedding in August, more than doable! Need to keep plodding along.
 
Monday 19th March 2012 - Extra Easy
A - 300ml purple lid milk (cant remember if its 300ml or 350ml?)
B - Fibre Plus bar or 5 scan bran

B - Philly light tub with mini ritz crackers (6).. bad Joanne!, Bowl of grapes, strawbs, banana and a shape yog (free one!)
L - Vegetable soup. Maybe some ham and pasta with salad if I'm hungry after that.
D - Fish(1), chips and mushy peas from the newest mag. Looks tasty!

Syns - Philly (6), Fish (1).. maybe some mikados later before I go insane for chocolate

I got woken up at 5.40am by a screaming little monster. Whilst trying to wake myself up with a cuppa I decided I wanted philly and crackers..so thats my excuse! I'm going to make the scan bran mixed spice carrot cake, so if that is edible then I will have it for my HEXB, if not - I'll have a fibre plus :p

Oh and I've also been naughty and jumped on the scales which says I have gained.. but my scales change my weight depending where I move them! Think I should just chuck them in the bin..

Update on the scan bran carrot cake, was nommy but too huge to eat throughout the day as a hexb, will be having a slice at 1 syn each and my fibre plus bar :D
 
Ohhhh recipe plz??? Sounds good!! Im lookin for low syn cakes as feel i miss out x

ingredients:
5 Scan Bran
150g grated carrot
5 tsp sweetener (I used 3 tablespoons)
5 tsp mixed spice (I used 3 teaspoons)
3 beaten eggs. (I used 2 eggs lol)

Method:
Pour hot water over scan bran and let it go soggy. Drain off excess water.
Add the grated carrot, sweetener, mixed spice and eggs and mix it all together.

Put in the microwave for 12 minutes (do not cover the bowl)

I suggest using a sillicone loaf tin. I used a plastic mixing bowl and kept getting a hard top. But my mum used her sillicone dish and comes out a lot nicer!


For the topping, mix some quark (or philly if you have the space syns/healthy extra), and add some sweetener to make some frosting!


Fifth of the cake is 1 syn (if you use 5 scan bran..but you can use 4 and then if would be 1 syn for a quarter).
Or no syns if you use the scan bran as a HE!

This was copied from another thread. I put mine in a fry lighted baking tin and cooked it at 200 for 15 mins until it was golden and springy to the touch. Not tried it in the microwave. It's very nice, Doesn't taste like scan bran!
 
Looks like omette but it was 3 lovely 'battered' pieces of fish an chips. Yummy in my tummy! x

Tuesday 20th March 2012 - Extra easy
A - 250ml ss milk B - 2 x 400g bread

B - French toast, ham and a banana
L - Fish sushi (4), apple slices
D - Chicken kievs and salad
Supper - Vegetable soup, Bacon, 2 fried eggs, baked beans. 2 Oreos (5)

Week 2 cardio done! :)

2 days to weigh in! Xx
