went to the docs last night to ask for zenical (14st) but cos i have put on 3lb since last oct (christmas binge) he wont give them to me,if i had lost weight not a prob derrrr.im on the waitin list for a breast reduction but my bmi gotta be 26 and at the min its 32,doc wants to see me in a month to see if i lost weigh then i can get pills....so im double in up on alli,and also back to the gym for double spin tonight anyone got some spare zenni for me ha ha ha ha good luck to you all you all sound your doin so well x will stay in touch oh my wii fit told me i lost 2lb but them my friend told me it lies lol

Sorry to hear that but you cant really blame anyone but yourself Are you sure its ok to double the dosage of Alli? That being said its gonna be double the amount you pay for it each month. And the wii fit isnt the most reliable weighing system out there .

Sorry to hear that charlotte Doc should have a bit of sympathy for it being xmas!

I'd also like a breast reduction. One of the other reasons I'm trying to lose weight. I wasn't sure what weight I needed to before being considered though.

yeah nhs bmi guide line is below 26. and yes red koala it was my fault i went for it big time cos i knew new year new start etc.plus i go to gym 4 times a week but have not been for a month due to snow work etc.alli is only 60mg zenical is 120mg per tablet ive only got 84 tabs £35 thats it then back to docs.so wish me luck and well done you guys x

You may want to ask your pharmacist before taking double the dosage. They maybe more than just mg's to worry about.

I am a pharmacy dispencer it will be fine to double up on the 60mg xencial to 120mg its just the same as taking one 120mg tablet

I know that Alli is half the strength of Xenical but I was wondering what difference it makes? Don't they both just hold back a third of the fat you take in? Or does Xenical block more?

They both do the same job. The ONLY reason why Alli is 60mg is because it can be sold over the counter. Any stronger needs a prescription.
