Stupid question: does Chocolate throw you out of ketosis as my LLC put it on the list for me as a snack last week, so had a couple of squares?? xx
 
The sugar in it will honey - but a couple of squares would be fairly small amount of sugar.

I had about half a bar so a lot more - justified it at the time as it's dark choc so better for me!!!

Still there was a time when half a bar would have been a warm up to a binge!!!!!

That's all some of the ladies talked about before our group yesterday. Thankfully it aint one of my trigger foods, but when they started on the savory carby stuff I had to ask them to shut up lol A girl has to draw the line somewhere for the sake of her sanity !

LOL!! Course, you're totally right... which is why I've not lapsed once in 161 days... ;)

However, the thought of chocolate does make me think "nom nom nom"... hehe... but nope, the idea of being knocked out of ketosis makes me not even slightly tempted to eat any, so it's all good... :D

Did 30DS L3 today! Ouch.. that's all I have to say...
Plan tomorrow is:
30DS L3 D2 in the morning
C25K W5D1 followed by a circuit class in the evening.
Gotta raise the bar now that i'm back in the world of food!

I'm now alternating shred with C25K so its not on the same day - and having one planned rest day per week.

I think on the calories I'm on that is enough for now. :):) xx
 
FOOD TALK

My office is a mess, as we are relocating and its our last week at the current office. Its chaos, stuff in crates, IT guys moving equipment around us, but trying to work and give a service.

So.... lots of cakes, icecreams, donuts, sausage rolls, sweets and so on around. Not good - I found it hard to resist. Excuses, excuses I know!!!:whistle::whistle::whistle:

Tuna salad

Toffee bar

Smoked mackerel salad

Banana shake

Dairy - Danish blue cheese

Confession - also had -2 white chocolate chip cookies & 2 funsize bags of Haribo

Need to work out a better resistance strategy for tomorrow and Friday. And probably next week too. Whilst we set up and settle into our new office.

Just been told HR have negotiated a 40% discount in the bakery opposite the new office - my office is powered by cake at the moment.

What b888tards with the discount in a bakery! How could they do that to you ! Lol how is a girl to cope? It would be killing me. I could live in a bakery on their savories and bread. Get thee behind me you carb laden temptation!

Hey hun, I think you did well under the circumstances being surrounded by food!

Our offices used to be like yours full of all sorts of food that I would consider treats, thankfully we have a well being programme now rolled out which encourages us to look after ourselves with healthy options and exercise. So most offices have fruit delivered daily for us, obviously I am not partaking in having any at the moment. Xx

Bugger the bakery! You're doing so well it's fantastic! I'm sure a couple of cookies and little bags of haribo will have done little damage and I'm sure you have shredded all the damage with Jillian!!! Keep it up as you are my RTM and LL inspiration lady xxx
 
Today I have fallen off the diet wagon a bit too much, only managing one pack and one lite meal on plan.

I could not face any of the packs today. So they are still in my bag.

My sister was on my doorstep when I got back from the gym - very upset as her divorce papers arrived today. :cry::cry:

We chatted and took Scooby for a walk, then went out for dinner - as neither of us had eaten and it was late.

We ordered sensibly, but as it was an Italian restaurant and served with the meal with added carbs and sauce.

I started strongly, asked for my salad to be served without dressing. But my chicken was drizzled in stuff too.

So ok, we drank fizzy water and didnt have starters or dessert, we both had chicken salad but the extras were way off plan.

Dog walk

Did W5D2 tonight - found jogging 8 mins ok and do-able the first time, then started to dread doing it again during the walk.

Talked myself around and figured that if I had done it once I could do it again. And I did fine, and hey did an extra 2 mins jogging - so jogged 10!! :):)

Had a sneaky peek at W5D3 and realised its 20mins jogging - no walking!!! Eek!!!

Plan to rest from C25K tomorrow and do it Saturday or Sunday.
Hope everyone has had a great day, I'm off to sleep early as its packing and moving all day at work tomorrow.
