ProPoints Hannah's not sure what she's doing anymore...

Thought I'd make a break between posts!!

I did an exciting thing today! After much research I short listed 2 gyms that had the facilities I wanted (gym, classes & pool) & are quite close. One was Bannatynes, WOW!!! Really nice, the pool area has 2 steam rooms, 2 saunas, 2 jacuzzis, pool and loungers, it was lush!! But at £50/month I'm not sure I want to encourage that behaviour when I should be gyming! So the other is a council gym, it's not nearly as nice, but has every thing I need plus swimming lessons (I'm thinking of doing a triathlon next year), racket sports and..... climbing walls.... £28 per month. It's closer & I can bike there in less than 10 minutes, so a decision is made. Just need to wait till I get my student card & it's go go go :)

Well done you!! sounds like a plan!! xx

I make the couscous, just with stock & lemon juice as opposed to plain boiled water.

At weekends you can have 8 x carb portions, 3 x protein, 3 x fat & 2 x 200 calorie snacks which is about 2000 calories.

Yep I'm raring to go now...well once my student card arrives!!

Whoop whoop on the student card say you cant wait to get your hands on that bad boy.

I know, being a student not only means I only have to pay a month at a time, I get a discount too. If I sign up now without it I have it'll be for a year....

Food was ok today, I'm mfp tracking it, not pp. but the last two days are about 1350 cals, not quite the 1200 they promise! I'm guessing pp here just for fun!

B - 2 weetabix & skim milk (6)
S - yoghurt & strawberries (2)
L - tuna salad & couscous, nectarine (4)
S - warb thin, jam, flora light (5)
D - pork stirfry with veg & noodles (10)

Approx 27pp I suppose I'm using them better than usual, no crisps/chocolate/wine!!

Came over all funny this morning, I thought it may be withdrawal from refined sugar, caffeine & processed food, but I think I'm actually a little poorly :( Hoping to nip it in the bud by popping pills!!

Thanks girls...feeling a little better, but that's probably because I'm under a blanket on the sofa!! Wasn't feeling too chipper this morning when my alarm went off at 5am! Early night tonight as well.

Not sure how long I'll stick to the plan, but it's just nice to have a change. It's healthy eating principles, which I think is good, I was using too many if my pp on c***! Although only 5 portions of fruit & veg a day is a pain :(

Food:
B1: yoghurt & dried fruit (dairy, fruit)
B2: 2 x crumpets, jam & flora (2 carb + 100-cal snack)
L: tuna salad with 4 oatcakes, apple (protein, 2 carb, 2 fruit & veg)
S: skimmed milk (1/2 dairy)
D: lean mince, veg, pasta, lf soft cheese (protein, 2 veg, 2 carb, 1/2 dairy)
S: green & blacks (100 cal snack)

MFP calculates 1500 cal, so way off the 1200 the plan reckons!!
PP - 29!!

So just super tired & looking forward to tea & my choc!

Thank you :) Still feeling pants today, felt ok first thing but once I got to work and stood still I felt dizzy & lightheaded - it's been like that all day, so have kept moving as much as possible....sooo tired! And everyone picked up on it, most thought it was a hangover looking all tired & pale! I have really bad purple colouring under my eyes, very pretty!!

Today I'm probably going to go a bit off new plan, it's quite restrictive in that way so I don't think it's workable long term...

B: bran flakes & milk - 2C, 1D
S: yoghurt & berries - D, FV
L: beans, pasta & veg, nectarine - P, C, 3FV
S: slice of corned beef - 100 cal snack
D: chicken pesto pasta - P, 2C, FV, 100 cal

So that's 2D, 2P, 5FV, 2 snacks and only 5C. I should have another one BUT I only have savoury & I want sweet - I need a few tea cakes! If I'd just had a slice of toast & not corned beef when I got in from work it'd all be ok!

SO, I'll probs have some chocolate, I am sick after all.... It'll be about the same calories just not the same of the other nutritional values!

Happy me, 3lbs off, down to 9st9 :) :) I tried the dress on for the wedding again today & I have breathing space around the busy which is great!! So I'll try to keep it generally under control over the weekend & follow the same plan next week.

Still feeling really dizzy/lightheaded but no pain, just a mild consistent headache. If it persists I'll have to go to the docs....so even thinking about exercise is off, but at least it should keep my drinking in check!!

Sorry you've not been feeling well, that horrible dizzy/grotty/not quite right-ness is awful as you can't quite pinpoint what is wrong. Hopefully you've got a quiet weekend planned and that should do the rest.

Big well done on the loss, that's great! And looks like the new plan has really kept you really on track with healthy food choices. I think sometimes we just need a jolt of renewed enthusiasm which a slightly different approach to eating can provide. Have you tried the filling and healthy side of ww? I think that's really good at guiding people towards healthier choices but you still get the 49 weeklies to use for extras if you want. Exciting news on the gym front. I am quite jealous of your climbing wall and your cheap price. I very much fell for the s****y gym option when I was looking around last year so pay more than your expensive one! But its the only gym anywhere near as close to me (5 min drive which is great) and I rather love the free towels on every visit and the fact that there are loads of pairs of ghd straighteners in the changing rooms. Makes a gym session before walk much easier!

No idea why s-w-a-n-k-y ended up being starred out! That's a proper word in it's own right!

ANYWAY....I've said when I'm working full time & not paying tuition fees I'll upgrade to the swish gym, which is just amazing! Still excited about the climbing wall, neither hub or I have climbed in years so we need to do a course to get certified, but I really think it could help him get active. The beer belly has grown over the years. It doesn't bother me at all looks wise, it's health wise I worry....he doesn't vent, works at a desk all day & is under pressure, so some sporting activity will be good!

Filling & healthy....I'm such a tool....I thought about it before & somehow didn't think of it thus time. But that's pretty much what I've done in the week d'oh!! Just need to wholewheat my pasta & brown my rice - thank you :)
