ProPoints Hannah's not sure what she's doing anymore...

Oh maaaaan, I just posted & it errored on me, damn app!!

I had a fairly relaxed day, beginning to feel better now which is fab :) Hub is beginning to feel it now, which means it's going to be a tough week & upgraded to flu ;)

Didn't get up to much but cracked on with some more washing, moving furniture around about & hoovering. I also met up with friends in town for tea & cake (the boys had pints & chips cos they're REAL men!!)

B: beans on WW bagel
L: carrot cake & apple! I think the cake was probs about 600 cal, so forwent anything else!
D: spag bol with cheddar, frozen yoghurt & a glass of vino

Came in just under at 1794 cal, 6 to spare!!

I forgot to take my measurements, so I need to do that tomorrow after work - can someone remind me please, cheers! :p

Hey Hannah! Beans on a Bagel?!? That's a Combo Ive never heard of!!! Carrot Cake sounds super tasty, much more girlie than beer and chips ;-) Din Dins sounded yummy too! A fab day all round AND 6cals to spare!!! Go You! X

Beans, spaghetti hoops, hummus, pâté on bagel - all good ;)

Today has totally run away from me, didn't get nearly enough done at work & I've no idea how it got to 9:30pm! It has meant that eating hasn't featured much, never a bad thing!!

B: oats so simple, dried fruit, blueberries
S: banana
L: hm courgette & bean soup, tuna salad
D: Thai yellow chicken curry made with loads of veggies & coconut cream (lush!) & rice

That's it so far, only 1185 calories!

I know it's not strictly TDEE but I'd like to have lower calories at least a couple of days to help bolster the weekends! Although obv. I need more than 1185! That sounds like tea & chocolate!!

Just about to take my measurements, well remembered me :D

I hope that isn't all together ;-) Do u just have Plain Oats So Simple? I'm looking forward to trying my new ones soon! X

Oooh no, yuk!!!!

After trying many flavours it's honey & almond every time. I love proper rolled oats porridge, but I didn't have any milk & I happily make OSS with water.

Measurements taken, so I'm thinking of doing it monthly, as if I do it too often I don't think I'll see any change & I'll end up feeling disheartened!

I'm about to make my tea and have a dairy milk which brings me to 1390 which is my BMR, so that's something. I don't see the point in eating more at this stage!

I bought Sweet Cinnamon and Honey n Almond to try :) I also saw Homey & Vanilla but sometimes I don't like Vanilla 'Flavour' so decided to not buy that one.x

I'm the same, I like Victoria sponge/muffins/cupcakes with vanilla but not in porridge or the like. I'm a bit funny with cinnamon too, I like it in a cake or middle eastern/north African dish with lots of other flavours, but on its own not so much!

I always thought I was weird but guess its not just me! It's like I can eat real banana, but nothing banana flavoured! Yuck! X

Oooh I love banana flavour. But I'm defo funny with fruit. It mostly has to be in its natural state, some dried fruit I like, little things like raisins, dates & figs, but stew it & I can't eat it. So basically I don't eat pie or crumble...I'm pretty sure I'm weird :p

Funnily enough I'm not a Dried Fruit Fan but LOVE Crumble! I was in my Element at Butlins with its 'Hot Crumble of the Day' lol! X Funny how we have our own tastes.x

Re: Healthy eating for life?? Here's hoping!!

Eeewww banana flavour stuff is horrible. I like chocolate but hate chocolate icecream and yogurts although I do like the new muller light chocolate ones.
Love cinnamon, vanilla pies crumbles and dried fruit in any form

Have you remembered your measurements yet?

Glad you are feeling a bit better, but the worst bit of being ill tends to be when your husband catches it though isn't it??

What was your 1200 calorie dinner the other day? Intrigued. And for the record I am sure being awake for 21 hours hugely inflates your TDEE...

My mum always says she doesn't like chocolate because she doesn't like chocolate desserts, however, give her a tub of roses or box of lindor & it's gone in 30 seconds!! Taste is a funny thing! Apparently our tastebuds lessen as we get older which is why we often 'grow into' stuff - could've been just a rumour I heard though!!

I'm definitely getting less sleep now the hubby's got it!!

I did measure myself & the figures sound familiar to when I used to do it 2 years ago, that's progress!!!

1200 calorie dinner: burger on half a ciabatta roll, chips, salad, ketchup & mayo, a very generous portion of frozen yoghurt & nearly a bottle of wine!!

On to today's food, another day that ran away! I really need to bulk out my breakfasts & lunches I think, too much in the old zone:

B - weetabix & skimmed milk
L - courgette & bean soup, turkey salad
S - (hungry!) yoghurt, grapes & wotsits
D - kebabs, couscous, salad & hm tzatziki
S - twirl

That was an EPIC 1200 Meal! What flavour was the Frozen Yogurt? Yesterday's Food sounds yummy, your kebab dinner looks much tidier than the ones people get from the takeaway! You just need a Polystyrene Tray to serve it authentically ;-) x

Ah, the wine. I hear that stuff is calorie free after 7pm... ;)

Kebab does look really good. Its not the sort of thing I cook very often but now lamb mince isn't "banned" due to being too calorie expensive I might give it a go.

On the subject of flavours - I saw that they now do a "banana and strawberry" porridge sachet. YUCK! I really don't think I can think of anything more disgusting sounding.

I succumbed and bought the Honey n Vanilla one, I thought it might not be too bad....it was the only other non fruit flavour so thought I'd give it a whirl while its £1! X

I have to have a System so I bought Sweet Cinnamon first so that was yesterday, Honey & Almond second so that's today and Honey & Vanilla third so that will be tomorrow! I'm exactly the same with anything I buy lol x

I look forward to tomorrow's honey & vanilla verdict!!

Banana & strawberry porridge sachet sounds absolutely awful :(

The kebabs were lovely, funnily enough I just got 500g of lamb mince for £1.29, bargain!

Well I have a couple of days to catch up on. My train journey was hilarious yesterday....quieter train was cancelled, so got stuck on the mega commuter train :( I was by the loo & there was a drunk lady on board...she dashed into the loo, started puking VERY loudly, then was chatting on the phone in between being sick, next thing she said was "I'm being f****** sick aren't I" HILARIOUS!!! If a little disgusting, but she was still quite in control & not abusive so you couldn't help but giggle!! I hope it won't repeat any time soon though!

That is about the excitement levels in my life, drunk lady on a train!!

Managed my Wednesday a bit better than last week, one hot meal!
B - yoghurt, half a punnet graze Eton mess, strawberries
S - nature valley peanut crunch bar
L - cottage pie & peas
S - nature valley bar (1 too many!), apple
D - corned beef sarnie, crisps & crunchie
S - 150g beans on 1 toast

Total 1851, 51 over....

I was so hungry when I got in, probably because I had too much sugar & not enough protein/fat.

Somehow woke up still hungry & had an empty gnawing in my tummy all day, not the best choices again...really got to concentrate on that...
B - sultana bran, skimmed milk
S -oat bar, grapes
L - tuna & couscous salad, crisps and then, just cos I fancied it, a twirl....
S - slice corned beef (fridge raider!!), apple
D - chicken stuffed with soft cheese & wrapped in Parma with tomato/leek orzo pasta
S - flake....

Total 1841, 41 over....

I've got to make a plan and stop making excuses (tired, cold, ankle)....

I'm away back home this weekend, but I'm going to try & spend some time sorting out my priorities, on a personal & student level. I feel like I'm not using my time wisely enough & that just makes me feel disheartened, anxious, lazy & pointless....I'm just so apathetic sometimes. I came out of class yesterday so invigorated & today I only read the abstract of 1 paper, NOT good enough! That's my tame rant at me over ;)
