Hayfever misery!!!

Do any of you have hayfever? Mine's kicked right off in the past few days and I've got it all - itchy eyes, runny and blocked nose (dont even know how its possible to have both at the same time but somehow I do!) find it hard to breathe sometimes and sound wheezy, blocked up stuffy-feeling in my head, headaches etc. I'm pretty sure its cuz of this stupid heatwave which was unexpected so I havent had a chance to get any allergy medication into my system. Am I alone in this? Does anyone share this joy with me? lol How do you deal with it - any hints and tips?

Piriton is the only thing that works for me but it makes me soooo sleepy which isn't good lol!

i have heard if you have local honey to your area that is ment to help

Nope they aren't good ESP when you work in a hospital but I figure if I overdose then I will be in good hands

limes - ive heard of that but i hate honey cant stand the taste. might just have to tough it out though if I have to carry on like this

I nearly fell asleep one day when I was a student it was sooo funny!

i almost fall asleep in my lectures now and thats without any hayfever medication in my system lol

I don't suffer with it but my 7 year old nephew does. My heart goes out to him when he gets it bad.
