Helen's quest for good health!

Glad you had a good holiday it sounds lovely... A lot of that gain will be water babe a week of good food and that will be on its way to being gone... Take care and don't push too hard on the boot camp...x

Well done for the following:

1. Staying in control on holiday but still having a fab time
2. Getting straight back on it now you're home
3. Going for boot camp!!!

Wow!

Oh and being a fab mum to Lizzie x

HUGE well done for signing up to boot camp you star - I have been contemplating the same but mornings are not my strong point! Holiday sounds lovely and it sounds like you had a great time without going too overboard. Glad you enjoyed it. Hope you have a nice time with the little one x x x

Hi Helen, holiday sounded on here, and the piccies on FB definately confirmed that a fab holiday was had!

Holiday sounds fab, Well done for being good foodwise and not going through the cocktail menu every day (which is what I would have done!) 9lbs is pish, it will be water retention, you were so good on holiday it won't take long to get it back off again, specifically as you've got straight back on plan, enjoy bootcamp, hope your not aching too much tomorrow ;) xxx

Hi Emma, I usually go through the cocktail menu so was very restrained.. not easy!

I was aching loads yesterday especially as we scrubbed all the patio Tuesday too x

You're right not to push too hard, could really feel it in my hip whilst kicking the kick bags today x

Aah thanks for all that, hardest one is making sure I'm there for Lizzi.. well perhaps not the hardest but emotionally it is x

Do it! Alarm going off isn't pleasant but feel so good finishing at 7.30 and raring to go for the rest of the day x

It was lovely Lynne, definitely recommend going if you want a relaxing time and it only takes 4 hours to get there x

So much for spending the night catching up with you guys.. Mark wanted the photos from holiday put on Facebook so did that instead!

Had a lovely day with Evie yesterday, my mum came too and we met my aunt, cousin and little one, we went to Cliveden which is beautiful and I was kept busy constantly running around! Got back to Lizzi's about 5pm and then took Jake to park and out to dinner so he didn't feel left out.

This morning I went to bootcamp again, did circuit training, really worked you but felt good, did stuff with gravity straps, ropes, kettle bells, tyres etc. . Think I might ache even more tomorrow! !

Got weigh in tonight, didn't think I'd get there due work but kept Leave so I can get it over with and know where I am, , expecting a gain but won't be upset as feel in a good place right now.. doing stuff for myself feels selfish but refreshing x

Well my gain came.. all 8 1/2lb of it! Good job I was semi good or dread to think what it would have been. Back in 15's now.

Not going to get upset about it, seems every time I go away I put on masses even if I'm semi well behaved, I've planned, I've shopped (well most of it, need to get some this morning), I've marinated chicken to nibble on if I need it and I've started exercising, upped my water intake from 2.5/3 litres a day to nearly 4 litres as my water percentage isn't good.. any other ideas to guarantee a loss this week? X

Think you have it covered... Just don't put too much pressure on yourself and ease back into it...xx

Thanks Chelle, I'm just taking it as it comes and not putting myself under pressure.

I am on plan and enjoying it at the moment, went swimming today which I enjoyed, only did 22 lengths in 15 mins but sure I'll get quicker if I start going more.

Made scan bran cake today, never really fancied it but a lady brought it to group last night and it was nice so I made a topping for it and even Mark liked it!

I've never known what scan bran is, but that does look good. I can very much empathise with your holiday gain syndrome, it is such a pain. Don't give yourself a hard time, sounds like you're right back on track so you'll have it gone in no time x
