Hi.. I've found I'm mainly sticking to shakes as the soups make a mess when I use the hand blender! They're also easier to sneakily make them at work. At home I use my shaker thingy with a hand full of ice which seems to thicken it up. I prefer all the choc shakes, orange, plain and mint. I'm going to try vanilla later, my CDC said I can have it warm with a spoon of coffee(?) I've bought a couple of the cartons for this weekend as I'm going to a concert in Manchester on Saturday.. Can't exactly use my shaker in the stadium.
Good news .. I've been for my weigh in and I've lost 6lbs this week! (I did CD a week before this and lost 7lbs in my first 4 days but I ended up with a bladder irritation so dr told me to come off diet which I did for 5 days.. Concentrated cranberry juice sorted that out!.) weight stayed off which which means I've lost 13lbs in 2 weeks! I've also lost an inch of chest, thighs, legs and hips. Really pleased. This is being on SS+ too.

Ooh my goodness.. Porridges are vile! Only soup I like is chilli. Other soups are powdery swill that taste of dehydration powders. I LOVE the choc shakes and don't seem to get fed up of them.
 
Well done Willow! I'm getting weighed after 6 days as its my daughters 8th birthday on Wednesday do can't get weighed then!! I hope I have losses like you. I'm getting a bag of ice tomorrow so I can use them in shakes, EXCITING EH??

Thanks guys.. It's all of you that keep me going. I love my CDC she's really funny but I'm only there 10 mins. She's there on phone if I need her but you're here going through it with me.
 
So I survived my first cd day, I was 100% good! My biggest 'worry' is not the hunger, it's the worry of gagging on the shakes, soups and porridges (daren't try the porridge until later this week!) ... I'm also worried about temptation, it's my daughters 8th birthday on Wednesday so were having a tea party with all he usual goodies, will be hard as hell not 'slancing' the goodies but my willpower is so strong I know I can do it! I don't want all my family to know about the CD so I'll need to be discreet.... I have just finished a strawberry shake which I did in my blender with some ice, MUCH MUCH better and I finished it all. Having no trouble at all drinking water. I'm getting hunger pangs occasionally but they do go. I had my daughter take pictures of me yesterday for my 'before' shots, DAYUMMM when did my arse get so huge? I always thought my belly was my problem area! Well, I'm taking positive steps to dramatically reduce it!

I'm not sure if anyone is reading this?? It's helping me anyway. So it's bedtime at the end of day two and I've been 100% again. We went to see friends who served 2 types of chocolate cake and I wasn't even tempted! My husband and children ate them but i just drank my black tea, it didn't phase me!! I messed up my timings today so I had my first blended with ice shake at 9am (lie in cos it's half term) and then nothing until about 5, this was due to being stuck in traffic and being at the hairdressers for 2 hours then MORE traffic, I wad so hungry when I got in. I had a shake at 5 and then soup at about half 7. It tasted not too bad with seasoning and it was hot so I just wolfed it down. I had a major headache coming on but a litre of water and two paracetamol sorted that out. My belly is aching for food now so off to have a shower and go to bed to start another book.

Hope your journeys are going well ladies (and gents)

Haha.. I know! India this diet for a week but then had to come off it due to bladder irritation, my gp advised me to come off it until it clear up. I tho k I lost 7lbs that week.. After 5 days I started again so I'm now on day 9 if I'm starting afresh. I was weighed yesterday I'm 13st 10lbs. I originally started at 14st 9oz.. So total loss is 13lbs. I'm loving this diet!
 
I have been able to have all my shakes but the soups and porridge aren't great so I'm lucky if I manage half of those :-(
 
I weighed myself today and I'm down to 9 stone 12, was 10 stone 6 on monday so I'm so chuffed, can't wait til monday for my official weigh in. I haven't done ss 100%, a couple of days I've had chicken, lettuce and a bit of seasoning and mayo...just had to have food but going to go die 100% ss today and try and stick to that until monday...you are all doing so well, it's really spurring me on :)

Wow.. That's amazing!!

Yeah the SS is quite extreme isn't it. My CDC advised me to either stick to SS or SS+ so your body knows its having food or gets used to not. She said if you occasionally have food your body holds onto it as it thinks it's starving. Now I'm not 100% if that's scientifically true so maybe check it out with you CDC or the website. Just relaying what I've been told.

I'm going to try 100% ss for the next week but I'm not beating myself up over it, I'm doing well weight wise, I am not having bowel issues lol and feel great. my goal weight is 7 stone 7 as I'm only 5"1'....a long way to go yet :)

That's great.. Good for you. I'm not having bowel issues either, thank goodness! My hardest day was yesterday when I had a long day and evening out. I'm based in the midlands and travelled to Manchester for a concert where I only had 2 vile tetras and no water ( didn't want ti keep queuing for the loos) I've got a thumping headache today but I'm proud I didn't scoff a hotdog as I seemed to be quite hungry yesterday as the water wasn't there to fill me up.
 
I'm struggling with the soups, I'm ok with the tetras, mint chocolate packet shake is my fav so far. You need the water...I've learned that already for sure lol

You mean with weight loss or feeling pants?.. I feel like I've got a hangover today!

Yes, I'm v bad at the water! Change the soups ? They just vile yuk! On par with the porridge ! Wish I did like them though x

The only soup I 'like' is oriental chilli but I have to be in the mood. I'm mainly having the chocolate variations with ice.. I'm not getting fed up of them, yet

Yes I like all the choc ones apart from choc orange. I miss savoury taste though, so sometimes I have veg bullion, not often though as full of salt so retains water x
